如果你在马来西亚想来一场刺激又难忘的冒险，那我真的很推荐你去坐一次 Langkawi 缆车！我自己第一次去的时候被震撼到不行，完全是那种“哇，这也太值得了吧”的体验。
Langkawi 缆车算是马来西亚数一数二热门的景点之一。这段大概2.2公里的缆车旅程，会从山脚的东方村（Oriental Village）一路带你上到马西冈山（Gunung Machinchang）山顶。一路上真的很爽，一边是满满的热带雨林，一边还能看到海跟岛屿，天气好的时候连安达曼海（Andaman Sea）都超清楚！而且重点是，上到山顶不只是看风景而已哦～你还可以顺便去走那个很出名的天空之桥（Sky Bridge），拍照真的超出片！如果你时间够，也可以玩玩像 SkyTrex 这些小景点，整体体验会更完整。

Stayed here with my family and overall we had a pleasant stay. The resort grounds are beautiful, spacious and full of greenery, giving a relaxing kampung-style tropical vibe. The beach is just a short walk away and the sunset view was amazing.
The swimming pool was one of our kids' favourite spots. Staff were generally friendly and check-in was smooth. The room was comfortable and suitable for families.
However, we experienced an issue during our stay where several family members developed itchy rashes/insect bites. We are not completely certain of the source, but it affected our overall experience and caused some concern, especially with young children.
Despite that, the resort itself is beautiful, family-friendly and located in a great area near Pantai Cenang. Hopefully the resort can look into this matter to ensure future guests have a more comfortable stay.DariTWD 4,402

I blindly chose this hotel and stayed for 5 consecutive days, ready to just relax. Overall, I'm quite satisfied. The hotel is located by the sea and near the mountains, about a 30-minute drive from Cenang Beach, making it relatively quiet. If you need to go out, taking a taxi is very convenient. The hotel has several swimming pools, which are great for kids. My child didn't want to leave the pool once they got in, and you can order drinks right by the poolside, which is very handy. The breakfast variety changes a bit, and the eggs + pancakes pictured were delicious – the sauce was definitely the highlight. I had an excellent time at The Danna and highly recommend anyone who is looking for a place to relax and chill in Langkawi. Here are some of the highlights of my stay:
- Friendly and smiley staff who attended to all my requests and enquiries.
- Beautiful British colonial style architecture and design with spacious hallways, high ceilings and lovely greenery in the centre of the building. There was a lovely lotus pond outside my room which was so delicately nurtured and sustained that it looked like a piece of artwork.
- The refreshing and relaxing smell of orchid / lily scattered all around the hotel.
- I stayed in the Viceroy Room (King bed) which was very spacious, clean, quiet and consistent with the British colonial architect. There was a terrace in my room which I could enjoy the stunning views of sunrise and sunset every day. I felt highly pampered using the Jo Malone bath amenities!
- Amazing Italian food at the Terrace, and nice buffet brunch at Planter’s. Shoutout to the talented pianist Emzac who played impromptu classic Cantonesen jazz every morning - he made me felt home!
Although the hotel was located far away from town and the beach side restaurants which could be a bit inconvenient to commute, The Danna is a place where you can spend the entire day relaxing and resting without realising how quickly the time passed by!DariTWD 10,216

The location was great and the staff were Friendly. However, service was quite slow for food and drinks. The beach wasn't ranked or cleaned regularly and there were often cups and stuff like empty coconuts left from the previous night when we would go to the beach in the morning (like 10am so not insanely early).
The room was nice but dated and the regular cleaning staff did well, but it needed a deep clean. For example, the Windows we're dirty (on The outside) and the inside was a bit moldy from the ac unit causing condensation.
The coconut the frog has was left there on the table.

This hotel was just a place to crash; we were out all day anyway, so we didn't expect much. The location is excellent, right in town. Across the street, there's a duty-free chocolate shop, and plenty of food options within a few blocks. It's also beachfront, so you can catch the sunrise. We booked a suite, which was spacious, but the facilities were quite outdated. The hot water was intermittent, and it seemed like there was no hot water at all late at night! I left my swim trunks in the room and called customer service to ask about them. I figured if they found them, I'd just take a taxi back from Berjaya to pick them up. The first time I called, a man answered and said he'd look for them. When I called again, a woman answered. I'm not sure if she didn't understand English or what, but she just mumbled and rambled for a while before abruptly hanging up on me. Since I was short on time, I just gave up and bought new ones.
The breakfast was mediocre, with limited choices. Just enough to grab a bite.
The gym is tiny and the equipment is old, but nobody supervises it, and hardly anyone uses it. You just swipe your card to enter, so it's practically 24 hours. It was sufficient for my workout needs.
The infinity pool has a nice view, and my kids loved it. There were a lot of Indian people diving and having 'doggy paddle' races, making the pool quite chaotic, and nobody seemed to be managing it. The Indian 'doggy paddle' is hilarious; it's not the first time I've seen it, I've seen it countless times now! I even wonder if it's some kind of Indian national art form? The key thing is, this stroke is exhausting and inefficient, yet they all seem to enjoy it immensely 😂DariTWD 1,586

The amenities were great,( i didnt try, but they look nice), nice infinity pool, located at the beach side. Breakfast area was nice, great deaogn, food variation was okay. I get to enjoy a nice sunset at the beach. The downside is the cleanliness of the room. The room smells of cigarette, so I asked for room freshener. They came and sprayed, but the smell still linger. I didnt say anything since I was quite tired. The floor was not vacuum, I can feel the sand on the floor when I stepped into the room, there are a lot at the room entrance. I had to wear slipper everytime. The space near the toilet was a bit cleaner, but still can feel the sand. It is not comfortable to pray. The WC was dirty, got yellowish stain at the bowl. The check in experience was not really smooth for me. I arrived at 1pm, asking if I can check in early, and they said the room was not ready, so I understand. I waited for 40 minutes, but it was still not ready. Then I went out for work, came back at 6.30 pm, but the check in was still not ready, and I need to wait for a while to get my room card even though they said that a room was assigned, I thought they have checked in for me, but no, they asked for my ID again. I left my luggage earlier, and they just left it in the open. The window locked was broken, even when I try to close, it opened by itself, no wonder I can hear the loud music and animal sound (like a bird or something, its loud and i can here it throughout my stay) I only realized that the window opened itself in the morning because the lock was broken, no wonder the aircond was not cold. I didnt realize because i didnt open the curtain till the next morning. Overall experience was not so good with the room, I was tired and upset with the room cleanliness. Apart from the ambience and the pool area, I dont think the hotel is up to 4-star standard in terms of cleanliness and hospitality.DariTWD 4,477

The hotel is located a short drive from the airport; but also tucked away from the noise of the city. Taxi fare to tourist hotspots is generally low (MYR11-23) due to its convenient location. Perfect for travellers who want a scenic and tranquil break from their busy lives, but also want easy access to shops and nightlife (food stalls, etc.). Super neat rooms and excellent staff all around. The only reason I didn't give it a perfect score is because the fitness room needs some work, and it takes about half an hour for the a/c in there to cool the space down. Overall, my stay was great. The pool was nice. The hotel staff was nice and friendly. Great location many food places around, and they're open until late into the night. We also went to the waterpark next door for free. The hotel was clean. They also have really good deals for ATV tours, jet ski tours, and many other fun things to do around the island. I highly recommend this hotel to people.

I recently stayed at Aloft Langkawi Pantai Tengah and had a really pleasant experience. The hotel is located about 20 minutes from Langkawi International Airport and only around 5 minutes away from the popular Pantai Cenang area, making it convenient while still being away from the busy crowds.
Check-in was smooth and fast, and there is plenty of parking available for guests. I would highly recommend renting a car when staying here as it makes exploring the island much easier.
The room was spacious, modern, and very comfortable. One thing that stood out was the bathroom, which was surprisingly large compared to most hotels. The hotel facilities are excellent too. There is a nice swimming pool, a well-equipped gym, and a kids' playroom on the third floor, making it suitable for both couples and families.
Breakfast was one of the highlights of the stay. There was a good variety of food, including both local Malaysian dishes and Western options, so there was something for everyone. On the ground floor, there is a Starbucks for coffee lovers, as well as the hotel's bar and lounge where guests can relax in the evening. A pool table is also available for those looking for some entertainment.
Although the hotel is not directly on the beach, Pantai Tengah is only about a 5-minute walk away. The hotel even provides a complimentary buggy service to take guests there. Personally, I preferred Pantai Tengah over Pantai Cenang because it is much less crowded, quieter, and more relaxing. It is a great place to enjoy the beach, especially if you want to avoid the busy tourist crowds.
Overall, Aloft Langkawi offers a great combination of comfort, modern facilities, good food, and a convenient location. It is an excellent choice for anyone visiting Langkawi, whether for a family holiday, a couple's getaway, or a relaxing staycation.DariTWD 3,933

The resort was very beautiful and peaceful. I saw many kinds of guests staying there such as couples, families and groups. Usually at night it was very quiet and everyone seemed to be respectful of each other, which made the stay very pleasant.
It was especially nice to sit in the yard in the evening. The atmosphere was calm and relaxing. The receptionist was also very sweet and welcoming.
However, there was one issue in our room. The washing basin kept dripping and even after we reported it, it could not be fixed during our stay. Because of that, we had to use the bathroom sink to brush our teeth and wash our face.
Other than that, everything else was good. You can also see airplanes flying across the resort which was quite interesting. Overall, it is a nice place for family gatherings and team bonding.DariTWD 737

Stayed here for a night with my family. Check in was smooth. When we got to our room, the door knob was broken. Luckily the staff was friendly and helped with the room changing. The room is decent, it provides the things you needed for ur stay. The downfall is probably you have to use the stairs if ur room is on the second floor. From the moment we arrived, this hotel exceeded all expectations. The views across the sea were absolutely breathtaking, especially at sunrise — waking up each morning to those stunning colours over the water was a real highlight of the stay.

The swim-up bar was perfect for relaxing in the pool with a drink, while the beach bar created a wonderful laid-back atmosphere right by the sea. Evening entertainment was varied and enjoyable, adding to the overall holiday experience without ever feeling overwhelming.
The food was another standout feature. There was an impressive variety every day, and the quality and taste genuinely surpassed expectations. Every meal felt fresh, well-prepared, and catered for all tastes.
What truly made the stay exceptional, however, was the staff. Every member of the team was warm, friendly, and attentive, always willing to help with a smile. Nothing ever seemed too much trouble, and their hospitality made the hotel feel welcoming and relaxed throughout our stay.
One of the most memorable experiences was the quick speedboat taxi to the private island — a unique touch that made the holiday feel even more special. The hotel also offered plenty of complimentary activities including tennis courts, pickleball, snooker, and more, which added great value and meant there was always something to do.
Although the rooms were slightly dated, they suited the hotel perfectly and added to the authentic Langkawi charm — relaxed, comfortable, and full of character. Rather than feeling tired, the hotel had a genuine laid-back vibe that made it easy to unwind and enjoy the surroundings.
Overall, this is an excellent hotel and a real hidden gem. With incredible views, fantastic facilities, wonderful food, and exceptional staff, I would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable stay in Langkawi.DariTWD 3,332

Room was ideal. Spacious. Good quality amenities. View of sea is there though a little obstructed. Fridge had a few drinks and a snack that was provided free of charge. Replenishment of these is chargeable. Breakfast was great. Cuisines for all tastes. My ONLY issue if you run out of there coffee and tea and want that replenished it is chargeable to the room. Minute walk to Pentai Chenai strip which is full of food shops laundrette ect. Concierge very helpful. Muslim/non muslim friendly. Serves alcohol for those what wish to drink. There is a excursion booking table which was great. A lady names Lisa served us and was very helpful. Rates were good but still feel free to shop around. Highly recommend 4 hour island hopping jet ski trip. Our guide was Ayman at Cabana Sports. Woul 100% stay again.DariTWD 3,238

The hotel room is near the beach and swimming pool my daughters are really enjoying it. However, the hair dryers are limited—you have to borrow one from the reception, and when we went, they were all fully borrowed. Also, there is no water dispenser in the hotel.DariTWD 976
