如果你在马来西亚想来一场刺激又难忘的冒险，那我真的很推荐你去坐一次 Langkawi 缆车！我自己第一次去的时候被震撼到不行，完全是那种“哇，这也太值得了吧”的体验。
Langkawi 缆车算是马来西亚数一数二热门的景点之一。这段大概2.2公里的缆车旅程，会从山脚的东方村（Oriental Village）一路带你上到马西冈山（Gunung Machinchang）山顶。一路上真的很爽，一边是满满的热带雨林，一边还能看到海跟岛屿，天气好的时候连安达曼海（Andaman Sea）都超清楚！而且重点是，上到山顶不只是看风景而已哦～你还可以顺便去走那个很出名的天空之桥（Sky Bridge），拍照真的超出片！如果你时间够，也可以玩玩像 SkyTrex 这些小景点，整体体验会更完整。

The hotel's photos online really don't do it justice. This place is amazing! The only minor drawback is the soundproofing in the wooden bungalows – but that's just the nature of wooden structures, so it's understandable. Otherwise, for a resort hotel, everything is absolutely perfect. The environmental design is excellent, the food is good, the staff are very professional, and the hotel gardens are beautiful. The resort view is very beautiful, lots of nature around. Even though a shelly beach, the private beach is a big plus. Been visiting for 11 nights, if you need something (amenities, meal wise), just ask, the professional staff will deliver. Tide pool unfortunately was out of service, but renovations started before we left. Big swimming pool awesome, kids pool awesome! Just check sharp corners of broken tiles.
Assume due to humid warm weather, mould on the outside of walls and doors is an issue, but still not nice to see that no effort was made to wipe it off throughout our 11 night stay.
For all activities (mangrove forest tour, island hopping, cable car and the sky bridge etc), easy to organize via reception or private tour companies (do your homework, can get the experiences for cheaper).
Breakfast very diverse and yummie!
Kids playroom needs a thorough clean, lots of human hair lying around. Gym well set up with lots of equipment, reminder there is a jacuzzi and sauna free of charge to utilize.
Overall thank you once again for all the professionalism from reception staff, room cleaning services, restaurant staff, buggy drivers, kids club staff and the regular checkins by staff like Justin for making our home away from home stay very enjoyable! The hotel environment is excellent, with its own private beach and a large swimming pool. The architecture is unique, and the rooms are spacious and well-equipped, though some minor details could be improved. Its location is a bit secluded, but it's not far from the airport and very close to Oriental Village and the Panorama Langkawi. There aren't many dining options around the hotel, but I tried all three main restaurants and highly recommend the Italian one. The breakfast buffet was a bit unremarkable, but the à la carte menu was fantastic. I highly recommend trying the pancakes, waffles, eggs Benedict, and Roti Canai from the à la carte. 5/5 — A Truly Magical Stay in the Rainforest
We had a wonderful and incredibly relaxing stay at The Datai Langkawi. From the moment we arrived, the service was absolutely top-notch. every staff member made us feel welcome, comfortable, and genuinely cared for. It was impressive (and touching) that many of them greeted us by name throughout our stay. The level of hospitality here is on another level.
The room was perfect — beautifully designed, spacious, and surrounded by nature. Stepping out into the rainforest felt surreal, like being in a different world. During our stay, we spotted hornbills, macaques, and dusky leaf monkeys (also known as spectacled langurs) with their distinctive white “spectacles.” Such an incredible experience to be so close to wildlife in their natural habitat.
The pool and beach were both fantastic, quiet and serene, with excellent service all around. The restaurants were excellent as well — consistently delicious food, whether breakfast or dinner, paired with attentive, warm service.
Every moment felt effortless and peaceful. We loved our stay so much that we’ve decided to make The Datai our annual short getaway.Business travel

I recently had an incredible two-night stay at Resorts World Langkawi and the experience completely exceeded my expectations. The hospitality was outstanding right from the start because the security team at the private entrance made us feel incredibly safe. Every staff member we encountered was remarkably friendly and accommodating. Our sea view room was a major highlight with stunning views of the water directly from the balcony. The hotel dining is top-notch including a fantastic Indian-Pakistani and Middle Eastern restaurant that I highly recommend. We also spent time at the Salt Shack Bar enjoying their great menu of pizzas and steaks alongside very affordable beverages. The evenings there are truly special since an amazing live duo performs Tuesday through Sunday. Their music created a wonderful atmosphere and gave us a night to remember. Our stay had some genuine highlights, but unfortunately the inconsistent customer service left us disappointed, especially considering we stayed for 11 nights.
The biggest highlight was the infinity pool by the Glass Bar & Restaurant. It was a wonderful place to relax, and being able to order food and drinks directly to the sun loungers made for some very enjoyable afternoons. The beachfront loungers were another great feature and perfect for spending time by the sea.
The room was exactly as advertised, clean and comfortable, so we had no complaints there.
Food was mixed. Breakfast was fairly mediocre with limited variety, although we enjoyed both lunch at the beachfront bar and dinner at the Glass Restaurant. The café was also disappointing as several of the pastries we tried were stale.
Unfortunately, the customer service was where the hotel fell short.
My husband and I were celebrating our first wedding anniversary, and before arriving I emailed the hotel twice to ask about arranging a romantic beachfront dinner package. Neither email has ever been answered. After checking in, I asked again and was told someone would get back to me. Once again, no one ever did. In the end, we gave up and booked our anniversary dinner at another resort.
We also arranged a late checkout the day before departure and even had our room keys extended, only to receive a call from reception on checkout day telling us we had overstayed because they weren’t aware of the arrangement.
Housekeeping was another issue. After being out for most of the day, we returned around 4:30 pm to find our room still hadn’t been serviced. A housekeeper knocked just before 5:00 pm asking to clean. We asked for five minutes so I could get changed, but she returned almost immediately saying she was leaving for the day and we needed to hurry. When my husband explained that I was changing, she looked at him and commented that he was already dressed, which felt quite inappropriate and uncomfortable.
Breakfast service was also frustrating one morning. The restaurant was busy and there were many uncleared tables. When I explained to the hostess that there was nowhere for us to sit, she simply acknowledged us without offering any assistance until I asked what they were going to do about it.
Throughout the stay, many interactions with staff felt rushed, as though guests were an inconvenience rather than welcomed. I’m not sure whether this was due to communication issues or simply inconsistent service, but after 11 nights it became increasingly frustrating.
This hotel has excellent facilities, a lovely pool, and a beautiful beachfront location, but the service unfortunately didn’t match the setting. With more attentive and proactive customer service, it could have been a fantastic stay.DariJPY 13,218

I was a bit nervous checking in after reading some reviews, but it turned out to be much better than I expected!
First off, I really liked the hotel's overall ambiance, especially the infinity pool and public areas – they were great.
Here are the cons:
1. The front desk staff are all locals (they don't speak Chinese and weren't particularly friendly to Chinese guests). When I booked, I specifically requested a high floor, but I was assigned the second floor. To move to a higher floor, they wanted an extra 150 MYR per day. I had to get some Ctrip customer service agents to help negotiate, and Ctrip covered part of the cost, so I was moved to the 6th floor! There were very few Chinese guests in the entire hotel, mostly Caucasians and locals.
2. The hotel breakfast was truly awful, practically inedible. Luckily, there are good breakfast spots and drinks near the hotel.
3. The bath towels and bedding were quite poor (which seems to be a common issue in Malaysian hotels). I recommend bringing your own pillowcases, disposable towels, etc.
4. The hotel doesn't have a beach.
Here are the pros:
Eating in the Kuah town area is much cheaper, offering great value for money. There are also fewer tourists, so if you like peace and quiet, Kuah is the place to choose.DariJPY 8,820

⭐We had a very enjoyable stay at Ombak Villa Langkawi. The resort is located in a peaceful setting by the sea and offers beautiful sunset views. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with all the amenities needed for a relaxing stay.
The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our visit, and the swimming pool area was a great place to unwind. The resort is also conveniently located close to the airport while still feeling quiet and secluded. Breakfast offered a good variety of options, and the overall atmosphere was calm and relaxing.

We were a little hesitant about booking here as reviews are not brilliant. However we went to Bella Vista and loved it. Not everything was perfect, breakfast was chaotic. No glasses for drinks, we had to ask.They ran out of fruit, we had to ask etc, etc. However…….! I went to reception and asked to speak to the manager. She listened and made notes. We then received a fruit platter in our room with a note of apology, the next day breakfast was brilliant! Ran like clockwork, food good. This service continued throughout our stay.

This hotel, part of the Marriott brand, really doesn't live up to the Marriott name. A 4.6 rating is definitely misleading. The location is a bit out of the way, and the hotel facilities are incredibly old. The cleanliness is also seriously lacking; the bed linens and towels were discolored and stained. The photos of the small sofa and the back wall were taken after I wiped them with a wet wipe, and the stains were so ingrained they were hard to remove. I doubt the carpet has ever been properly cleaned. Plus, there were no small hand towels, just two bath towels. The breakfast was mostly Muslim-style. For a sea view room, you'd need to be on the fourth floor or above; below that, you mostly just see the building across the way (our room was on the fourth floor). At around 1300, the price is definitely too high. Compared to a Hanting Hotel, a Hanting would run circles around this place! However, the staff's service was quite good, and the balcony view was decent. But you can only sit on the balcony in the early morning and late evening, as the direct sunlight during the day makes it too hot – it's a BBQ-level burn out there.DariJPY 24,605

The resort was very beautiful and peaceful. I saw many kinds of guests staying there such as couples, families and groups. Usually at night it was very quiet and everyone seemed to be respectful of each other, which made the stay very pleasant.
It was especially nice to sit in the yard in the evening. The atmosphere was calm and relaxing. The receptionist was also very sweet and welcoming.
However, there was one issue in our room. The washing basin kept dripping and even after we reported it, it could not be fixed during our stay. Because of that, we had to use the bathroom sink to brush our teeth and wash our face.

⭐We had an amazing stay at the Rebak Island Resort & Marina in Langkawi. The resort is set on a beautiful private island, offering a peaceful and relaxing escape away from the crowds. Overall, the hotel is pretty good, especially its location near Central Beach. There's a decent-sized shopping mall not far from the hotel with food, drinks, and reasonably priced goods. The outdoor pool within the hotel is also a big draw. Remember, you can get free towels from the fitness center—you just need to register. In the evenings, around 8 PM, there's a fire dance performance at Central Beach, about a ten-minute walk away. The water pressure in the room's bathroom was also good, much better than the previous place in Kuala Lumpur. My only minor complaints are the small flying insects in the room and the occasional mosquito, but in a tropical region, this is quite normal, so it's a good idea to prepare for mosquito control beforehand. The hotel breakfast was also good and quite substantial. For the price, it offers good value for money.DariJPY 16,475
