我第一次去新加坡的时候，以为天气跟马来西亚差不多，结果一下飞机就直接“被热醒”😅 那种热不是普通的热，是又热又湿、走几步路就开始流汗的那种。不过去多几次之后我才慢慢摸清楚规律：新加坡的天气其实没有想象中那么复杂，但如果你选对时间去，整个旅行体验真的差很多。有人去到天天暴雨，有人去到每天蓝天白云打卡，这个差别真的很大。

我第一次去新加坡的时候也以为“应该跟马来西亚差不多啦”，结果一出机场我就后悔没心理准备😂 简单说就是：真的一年四季都很热。

没有四季变化，也没有“凉一点的季节”。基本上每天都是差不多的天气：
👉 白天大概 25°C–32°C
👉 但重点不是温度，是那个又热又湿的感觉

你走在外面几分钟，就会开始流汗那种，而且是停不下来的那种😅 不过有趣的是，新加坡很“分裂”：

  • 外面：热到你想找树躲 🌳
  • 里面（shopping mall / MRT）：冷气冷到你想穿外套 ❄️

我每次去都一定带外套，不然进商场真的会冷到起鸡皮疙瘩。

  • 天气整体比较稳定一点

👉 缺点：有时接近农历新年，人会比较多、价格也会涨

This is a long-standing five-star hotel in Singapore. I stayed here for eight nights this time. It's my top choice for business and family trips to Singapore, offering great value for money. **Excellent Location** The location is superb. Right opposite the hotel exit is an MRT station. Although it's not a major line, it's convenient to get anywhere with a quick transfer. Within five or six minutes' walk, there's a large shopping center, The Great World, which has plenty of dining, shopping, and local specialty food options. The surrounding area is also a hub for tourist attractions, easily reachable by taxi or a few MRT stops. **Hotel Design** Given its five-star heritage and recent renovation, the rooms and hotel interior are very new and spacious. I was particularly impressed by the in-room coffee machine and water dispenser. Enjoying a rich cup of coffee while getting ready in the morning [smiley emoji] is a lovely touch. **Hotel Facilities** The swimming pool, gym, conference rooms, and restaurants are all well-equipped. **Service** I didn't get much chance to experience the service as I came back late and was out all day. My only minor complaint is the poor soundproofing. Perhaps it was because I was next to a door that seemed to lead nowhere, and the opening/closing sounds were loud. I could also hear cleaning staff making noise in the mornings. However, the front desk handled it very well, and they were much more careful afterward.

As our parents are celebrating their golden jubilee, we are upgraded to the premier rooms. They have decorated the rooms and did surprise us. The rooms are at level 12. Rooms are clean and with great views. The breakfast buffet had wide spread of options, there’s a lot of choose from. The only downside is that no ice cream was not provided on that day. Otherwise, I will give them a 10/10. Location is very convenient and connected the the main shopping streets of Orchard Road. It make our staycation a memorable one. We are so happy with the services provided by the front office and carousel restuarant that we decided to book the rooms again during Xmas time. Hope to see them soon.

The hotel's location is excellent, with convenient transportation. It's right next to Funan Mall and very close to City Hall MRT station. Just one stop to Raffles Place and you're at the Asian Civilisations Museum. St Andrew's Cathedral is directly across the street from the hotel, and there's a 7-Eleven right opposite the hotel entrance. The Old Hill Street Police Station, Central Fire Station, and Fort Canning Park are all within walking distance. The hotel lobby is on level L, and the doorman is very patient and helpful with directions. The check-in staff all speak a little Chinese, so there's no need to worry about communication issues. The check-in process is pretty standard. The room was clean and odor-free, though not as big as I expected, and the bathroom was quite small. On the first night, I discovered the hairdryer was broken. I wanted to call the front desk to get it replaced, but then I found out the phone was also broken! 😂 😂 On the second day, someone came to the room for repairs, and the efficiency and service were both excellent. The hotel breakfast selection was quite limited, but there are plenty of great food options inside Funan Mall, so you might not need to book breakfast. My husband quite liked the hotel gym, which was decent. When checking out, I asked the friendly gentleman on the ground floor to help call a taxi, and he personally carried our luggage to the car. The service was really good. All in all, the value for money is pretty decent!

I stayed at PARKROYAL COLLECTION Marina Bay during a solo business trip to Singapore, mainly because I had meetings near Marina Bay Sands. The hotel checked many boxes for me, especially its convenient location, Halal certified breakfast buffet and walking distance access to train stations. The reception area on Level 4 immediately left a strong impression. The interior is beautiful and filled with greenery, somewhat reminding me of Gardens by the Bay. It feels modern, relaxing and very photogenic / Instagrammable at the same time. I appreciated the convenience of online check in and check out. During check in, I was assisted by Yarik, who was extremely friendly and welcoming. He thoughtfully gave me a room facing Marina Bay Sands, which I truly appreciated. Thank you again, Yarik. The room itself was spacious for a solo traveller. Everything was very clean, and I really enjoyed the bathtub and toiletries provided. Another thing I loved was the coffee selection in the room. There were different coffee strengths available, from mild to very strong, which was perfect for someone like me who enjoys coffee a lot. I visited the hotel gym as well. It is not huge, but good enough for a basic workout. Since I am an Anytime Fitness (AF) member, I also walked to the nearby Suntec City AF branch, which was very convenient from the hotel. The location is excellent. Promenade MRT Station and Esplanade MRT Station are both within about five minutes’ walk, and the Merlion Park area is nearby too, making it easy for me to go jogging. Breakfast was fantastic with many choices. I especially loved the blended juice with ginger and cinnamon. On checkout day, although my late checkout request was initially declined by Lydia at the reception counter because the hotel was full, the team later managed to accommodate my request after I explained my situation. Thanks as well to Yi Quan for assisting during checkout. Overall, this hotel was amazing. I genuinely enjoyed the stay, especially the thoughtful service and the Halal certified breakfast buffet.

Wonderful Stay at V Hotel Lavender with Excellent Hospitality Had a pleasant stay at V Hotel Lavender. As this was our first trip to Singapore, especially with a 2-year-old toddler, everything felt very comfortable and convenient here. The hotel is also very friendly for Indonesian guests who are used to having a bidet in the toilet. We were especially grateful for the excellent service we received. Miss Cecilia, the receptionist on duty that day, was incredibly kind to us. She gave us a room with a beautiful view and also allowed us to have a late check-out at 1 PM, which really helped us manage our toddler’s nap schedule without any hassle. Thank you, Miss Cecilia, and all the staff at V Hotel Lavender for making our holiday comfortable and memorable.

Pros: Very close to VivoCity, just across the road (though you'll need to cross a few traffic lights). Other than that, there's not much else to write home about. The biggest problem is the excessive noise! The sound of vehicles (likely motorcycles) on the road at night is incredibly 'refreshing' – I've never had trouble sleeping before, but I was woken up multiple times. If you're a light sleeper, definitely avoid this place. The bed is also very high, so it's not suitable for seniors with mobility issues. The design of the bathroom and shower doors is quite odd, and the soundproofing in the room is terrible. Flushing the toilet in the middle of the night creates a very loud noise, which is disruptive to anyone else in the room.

For my trip to Singapore, I chose to stay at V Hotel Bencoolen, and my overall experience was quite good. The hotel boasts a very convenient location, just a short walk from the MRT station. Right next door, there's a money exchange office, making it super easy to get Singapore dollars, and you'll find UnionPay-friendly ATMs nearby too – really handy for tourists. The hotel staff were attentive and responsible. I was pleasantly surprised during check-in to find a staff member who spoke Mandarin, which really eased any communication stress. There was just one minor snag. On occasion, after the daily cleaning, the housekeeping staff on my floor would forget to restock some toiletries like toothbrushes and slippers. However, once I contacted hotel services, the items were delivered to my room quite promptly, so the overall service attitude was still very good.

I was impressed from start to finish with my Siloso Beach Resort experience. I arrived at Vivo City Harbourfront Station by train, suitcase in hand and was directed to the Sentosa Monorail on the top floor. There is a kiosk where I received my complimentary rail pass to Beach Ststion (last stop). Behind the train station is a free shuttle service which dropped me directly outside the Resort. Up to level 8 to complete my check-in which was conducted smoothly by the friendly desk team. They provided clear instructions for the ongoing use of monorail on the island and the free shuttle services around the island attractions. I received a cool upgrade and proceeded to my room which was clean and then refreshed each day. The location opposite the beach and a 7 minute walk to the train station which is surrounded by food outlets and stores to cater for your convenience. The team at Siloso Beach Resort enjoy their work and were always eager to assist with any enquiries, provision of umbrella or any guidance with onsite matters. The pool was fabulous with waterfall and slide for kids of all sizes. The place was quiet and well presented. I will be visiting again in the future.

We got here at 10pm just got off a flight and need to catch another flight early in the morning. It’s a massive resort, rooms are quite old. We can hear some kid running either upstairs of us or outside in the corridor at 2am, we can’t go back to sleep after this. Also the most scary part is that we found a metal pin on one of the beds, as my son said there was something weird, I’ve brought it to the front desk at checkout, and the front desk man said “****, I’ll talk to my manager “. So don’t think we’ll come back here again🙂. Gotta say the taxi service is pretty efficient as we needed to get to the airport at 4:30am.

We were pleased with the warm welcome and friendly service from the hotel receptionist during check-in. However, we were quite disappointed with the condition of the bathroom facilities and the lack of follow-up from the hotel team. During our stay, we encountered the following issues: (1) The bathroom door lock was faulty. (2) The shower head was detached from the hose and could not be used properly. We have reported these issues to the front desk for three times, but unfortunately, no one attended to them throughout our stay. We hope the hotel can improve its maintenance standards and response time to guest feedback, as these issues significantly affected our overall experience.

This is an older hotel with basic facilities. It's comparable to a 3-star hotel in China, and the breakfast is about what you'd expect from a 3-4 star hotel there. Of course, the price is also around 300, but in Singapore dollars. If you're not traveling with family, you'd find much better standard room options and accommodations for the same price. Our family of four stayed here specifically for the two large beds. The hotel's location isn't far from the MRT station. Haji Lane and BOSS HOTEL (the starting point for the Legoland shuttle) are all within walking distance, and there are many bus routes nearby, making transportation very convenient. There are plenty of food and drink options downstairs, and there's an Indian minimart across the street from the hotel that's much cheaper than the 7-Eleven down the block. I misplaced something and when I called, they immediately knew which room I was in and what I had lost, which shows excellent coordination between the front desk and housekeeping. Thumbs up for that!

We had a very enjoyable family stay at Village Hotel Sentosa. The hotel is very family-friendly, with a lively atmosphere and facilities that kept both adults and children happy. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and practical for a short family getaway, and the overall design of the hotel felt bright and welcoming. One of the biggest highlights was the location. It was very convenient for exploring Sentosa, with easy access to attractions, dining options, and transport. This made travelling around with children much less tiring and stressful. The pool area was also a real plus for families, as the kids had a great time and it added to the holiday feel. The staff were generally helpful and pleasant, which made the stay smoother. Overall, Village Hotel Sentosa is a good choice for families looking for a fun, convenient, and comfortable staycation spot. We would be happy to return again.

Whether you're heading to Marina Bay or a concert at the stadium, it's less than a 15-minute journey. On the fourth floor, there's a pool and gym with views of the stadium and Marina Bay Sands. Upon check-out, I discovered it's an official hotel for the New Public Badminton tournament, so I'll definitely be back next year for the New Public!

First time staying at Pan Pacific 3D2N stay was pleasant. As we book connecting room , and have to wait a bit longer for our other room to be ready the reception display their best professionalism to accommodate. The room was spacious, mini fridge filled with drinks and chocolate reserve for guests for quick snack. Like the motorized curtains. The amenities like coffee machine come in handy for a good coffee. Our high floor panoramic city view room, we did manage to catch a glimpse of the Singapore flyer, marina bay sands from outside our room which is a breath taking view. Hope we get to book marina view next time.The pool was big and my kids enjoy relaxing and swimming. The foot reflexology treatment was relaxing and comforting. Overall I'm delighted with my staycation from the moment we arrive, we were welcome and greeted by the bell attendant, front reception, even check out was smooth and till our departure the hotel staff hospitality has treated us well. On side note if room service food/halal breakfast spread is available would be added advantage for Muslim guests. 👍👍

The room was nice and the surrounding area was very quiet! I stayed for several days, and on some of those days, my neighbors were Indian or Malaysian families with kids who made a lot of noise late into the night and started up again very early in the morning. However, the bedding was clean and comfortable, and the room design was sensible, making it look very tidy. Overall, it was a good check-in experience, though the check-out time of 12 PM was strictly enforced!

✈️Since I had an early flight at 7 AM, I opted for an airport hotel for my last night in Singapore instead of staying downtown. 😂When I booked, I saw the room pictures and size, and I just thought it was pathetically small. But I figured it was just for one night, so I'd make do. Price-wise, at around 1000 RMB, it's definitely not good value for money. Its only advantage is convenience, being close to the airport terminal. You walk out the door and can see Changi Airport's grand waterfall. 🤓The front desk staff were very enthusiastic. Entering the guest room area, there wasn't the usual hustle and bustle I'd imagined. It was huge inside, with many rooms, like a maze. Overall, it felt very quiet, and the carpet had excellent soundproofing. Pushing luggage wasn't a struggle at all. 🤪Opening the room door, even though I was mentally prepared, I still exclaimed, ”It's so small!” The bed was right there as soon as you opened the door, and there was even that strange pink lighting reminiscent of old-school street hair salons. 🛏️The bed is electric and can be raised, which is convenient for watching TV. There are foldable tables and chairs by the bed, saving a lot of space. 😜The living space saved was all given to the bathroom. The sink, toilet, and shower cubicle were all lined up, achieving a good wet/dry separation. Many hotels in Hong Kong are also small but can't manage this kind of wet/dry separation; they could learn a thing or two. 🥰The stay experience was also good. The mattress was a little soft, but the support was sufficient. The soundproofing was also excellent; I barely heard any other noise, which is a big plus. 🤣After all that praise, let's talk about the downsides. Check-in time is 6 PM, which is quite late, and early check-in isn't an option. Check-out time is 9 AM, so sleeping in is impossible. Luckily, I had to leave at 5 AM, so I didn't have that problem. Also, the room's AC temperature is restricted to 21 to 24℃. Even set to 24℃ with the fan on the lowest setting, it still felt very cold, and the duvet was very thin. Since there are no windows, I was afraid it would get stuffy if I turned it off, so I just had to wear more clothes. 🥳Overall, the hotel room design is very smart. Although small, it doesn't significantly impact short stays. If you have higher demands for your living experience, you might want to consider the other Crowne Plaza.

I stayed at Lyf Funan Singapore for 2nights as a business traveller. The design is fun and colorful, not your typical hotel vibe. The room is compact but works fine, with a private bathroom, and the sink is outside the bathroom which is actually quite convenient. I stayed in a standard room—it’s okay for couples or friends. The hotel has more of a co-living feel. There’s a shared kitchen, dining area, and even a small workout corner, so it feels more social than a normal hotel. Breakfast was a bitsimple with limited options, just a few simple dishes and some bakery items. I’d recommend skipping it and eating outside instead. Location is definitely a big plus. It’s inside Funan Mall, super convenient for shopping and food. You can also easily walk to places like Fort Canning Park (right across the road), Clarke Quay, and Merlion Park. Overall, nice stay if you like modern design and a lively vibe—just don’t expect too much from the breakfast.

This is a return visit on staycation. The hotel location, rooms, and front desk services were all still pretty good. However the pool conditions were awful. I understand that the pools are undergoing refurbishment. Regardless, the hotel should still accord best efforts in maintaining the best guest experience of the Far East hospitality brand and standards. The pool surroundings were unkempt. Almost all good hotels and resorts would dedicate an early morning effort to sweeping fallen leaves and organise the poolside furniture neatly. The towel guy simply waved at me to collect a towel while he remained seated without any greeting or service. Parts of the usable pool were cordoned off in ugly plastic tape, bits of masking tape remained stuck to railings, and worst of all, used clothing items were left hanging in full view. The gym equipment is poorly maintained and unkempt. This is just disgusting and atrocious for a 5 star hotel and embarrassing for a long time Singapore brand. When I provided feedback and showed photos taken of the terraced pool to the front desk upon check out from The Outpost, the staff acknowledged the issue and replied ”I will inform the VILLAGE Hotel to rectify it.” The guest doesn't need to know which hotel is accountable for maintenance of the shared pool facilities. They are both operated by Far East. The professional response would be for The Outpost to acknowledge the feedback and assure the guest that it would be looked into. FIX THIS. PLEASE.

Initially, I booked this hotel through a Trip.com promotion, so I didn't do much research for my Singapore trip. Given the price, which I found quite affordable, the smaller room size was understandable. The location seems to be near Orchard Road. There's a bus stop about a five-minute walk away, and the subway station is probably 8-10 minutes. My reservation didn't include breakfast, so on the first day, I walked to the nearest Ya Kun Kaya Toast. The hotel provides standard amenities like slippers and toothbrushes, so you don't need to bring your own. The door lock looked a bit old, which might have contributed to my poor sleep on the second night – either due to poor soundproofing or someone knocking on my door. It made me feel a bit less secure. Singapore's climate means it's a bit humid. I personally get cold easily, so I didn't use the air conditioning at night. Overall, I think it's a suitable place to stay.

Excellent hotel for a small price. The location is convenient, with all types of transport nearby, both buses and the subway, making it easy to get everywhere. Marina Bay is truly within walking distance, and it's pleasant to stroll there in the evening. We swam in the pool both morning and evening; there were either no people or just a couple of others. Next to the hotel, there's a shopping center with a currency exchange offering good rates, and cafes with local cuisine, cheap seafood, smoothies, and fruits. The selection is good, and prices are reasonable. The room had everything necessary, from toiletries and tea to slippers and a bathrobe. Overall, the hotel is very pleasant, and the front desk staff are friendly. On the ground floor, you could take umbrellas for free, and we left our luggage for free upon check-out. It's convenient to get to/from the airport.

The hotel's location is excellent. If you're traveling by subway, you can just use the side entrance to the mall, and the transfer at Chinatown station is super smooth. The hotel environment is elegant and quiet, which is great for those who need good sleep. The breakfast selection isn't huge, but it's more than enough for daily needs, and they have all the standard coffee options. What's really cool is that they offer coffee in paper cups, which is a nice touch! Also, there's a fully automatic robot that cooks noodles, and they taste pretty good – definitely worth trying if you like noodles! The hotel service was fantastic. Overall, my friend and I were very satisfied. Next time I bring my whole family to Singapore, I'll definitely choose to stay here again because it's so convenient to get to VivoCity by subway. We can head over there for some spicy crab, haha! 😆

After dropping off my luggage, I headed straight to Changi Airport for some shopping and dining – it's all connected via a walkway, which was really handy. The next morning after checking out, I stored my bags and went sightseeing in the city, which was also very easy to do. In the afternoon, I returned to the hotel and asked the front desk for an elevator card to access the third-floor swimming pool. Having a shower and a swim there was such great value for money! When it was time, I went to check in for my flight. Definitely recommend this place!

The view from the window is just like a picture – choosing a riverside room was definitely a wise decision. You can see the Singapore River, its bridges, and Clarke Quay. Although the windows are sealed, the room's ventilation system is excellent; there's no stuffiness or strange odors. Singapore is humid, so I assume the sealed windows are to prevent the room from getting damp. The location is central, offering a quiet escape from the city buzz while being incredibly convenient for transport. If you're traveling with elderly family members or children and need to take taxis, nearly every attraction is easily accessible from here. It's also fantastic for a leisurely stroll; the surrounding area has no super-tall buildings, just a historic and charming neighborhood. I absolutely love this kind of urban character. The room, though small, has everything you need. While the room facilities and bedding might not quite meet five-star standards, and the single bed is a bit narrow, these are all acceptable given the numerous positives, haha! The front desk staff were lovely, and the buffet restaurant staff were very efficient. The egg pancake at the breakfast buffet was good, and dining outdoors was very pleasant. The room service staff were also quite decent. The bedding wasn't changed daily; during our three-day stay, they only emptied the bins and replaced the linen. As a traveler who enjoys immersing myself in local culture, this century-old building offers excellent value for money.

The front desk staff had an abysmal attitude; I didn't feel like I was being served at all. There was absolutely no useful information provided – nothing about the hotel's shuttle service, the fact that the kids' club costs extra, or details about adding breakfast. The service was utterly terrible. Having stayed at so many five-star hotels, I've noticed that only the Chinese front desk staff provide the worst service, while those who speak English are far superior. The Splash water play area was good, but the Buds indoor playground charges a fee. The bakery on the first floor offers inexpensive bread that's huge and affordable. However, the Louge restaurant's prices are outrageously expensive, probably double what you'd pay outside. A bak kut teh, which normally costs around 20 SGD elsewhere, is 40 SGD here – you'd be better off adding breakfast to your stay. The location is also quite remote. Given this level of service, I won't be returning. The hotel itself is beautiful, though.

The front desk staff, both the young woman and young man, were incredibly patient and accommodating when checking in with my high-school-aged daughter. They even upgraded us from a twin room to an Executive King Room. I was pleasantly surprised when we entered the room. It had a spacious living area with a bar, dining table, and an L-shaped sofa. I loved the Hermès rug and the luxurious hard furnishings, like the solid wood wall panels and silk soft furnishings, giving it a light luxury, natural stone feel… The 2-meter king-size bed had a thick, comfortable mattress, and the L-shaped sofa could be easily converted into a single bed for my daughter, free of charge. The hotel truly goes above and beyond with its thoughtful touches and care. 🌺🌺🌺 We'll definitely be staying at Grand Hyatt again next time!

The room had all the usual essentials like security safe and large balcony, plus things like optional rain shower in the bathroom and unlimited cooled water from an elegant dispenser also housing a well packed drinks bar/fridge and coffee machine. The big king size bed was positioned central to the room so one can walk all the way around it which made a nice change to the usual 99% of hotel rooms with headboard against a wall. (The safe was extra large and easily accessible from a reinforced pull out drawer between the two glazed wardrobe doors!) We payed around £350 per night for our room but was booked over 6 months in advance. Shorter booking times found the price up to over £600 a night, so not cheap! But would highly recommend this hotel at least once for the more price conscience visitor because of its impeccable luxury and stunning views of Singapore Bay!

I chose this hotel near Chinatown, and it's super convenient with a subway station right downstairs. Chinatown itself is just about a ten-minute walk away. Plus, the famous Ya Kun Kaya Toast is also on the ground floor. They even have a gong-striking ceremony when you check in! I stayed for four days in total and was very satisfied overall. The infinity pool and gym on the 30th floor are absolutely stunning. You'll notice a lot of Western guests here. The breakfast is a standard English breakfast – not a huge variety, but it's very refined. The only thing is that the bed in the king room isn't very big, so if you're a family of three, it might be a bit cramped.

Room is spacious, clean & nice, for elderly might found difficulty of having to climb the bath tub for shower since it's quite high. The staffs are helpful & friendly which is a plus point. The breakfast option is quite limited, mostly western breakfast, bread/pastry, congee and soy milk. I don't eat much for breakfast so it isn't big deal, but if you lean towards more local/asian breakfast, better just get breakfast outside. Definitely consider to come back on my next visit to SG.

This hotel is located directly across the street from Singapore's best hotel, the Raffles, and its rooftop pool offers views of the Raffles Hotel. The style is a bit like W Hotels, and the location is very convenient. The hotel's restaurant is Indian-themed, and right outside, to the right, there are five restaurants offering different cuisines like Chinese and Mexican. Walk a bit further to the fork in the road, and you'll find a hotpot place. Ordering delivery via Grab is also very easy, and the front desk helps with receiving orders. Transportation is very convenient. A bus stop is just a 3-minute walk away. Haji Lane is a 15-minute walk, the National Gallery is a 10-minute walk, and the Duck Tour is an 18-minute walk. Maxwell Food Centre is less than 20 minutes away. To get to Gardens by the Bay's Cloud Forest and Flower Dome, just take the Downtown Line, and you'll be there in 30 minutes. Most taxi rides will get you to your destination within 20 minutes. Great value for money overall. 🌟🌟🌟🌟

Many restaurants in walking distance, shout-out j bistro and xin chao with great set lunches, unfortunately the in-house godfather bistro had an awful Hawaiian pizza maybe stick to their Indian dishes as their samosas were good.
