We had a wonderful stay at the resort. The staff were exceptionally friendly and ready to help us with a smile. They even waiting and welcoming us to the counter for registration though it’s a hot day. He also led us to our guest room. When we opened the room, the air conditioning was ready for us. The room was clean, spacious and well-maintained, offering both comfort and a beautiful view. I especially enjoyed the greeneries and peaceful surrounding, the well-kept landscaping facilities and delicious food served at the restaurant. Everything was thoughtfully arranged especially my birthday cake, to make the guests feel welcome and relaxed. The swimming pool is built above the sea with a good and fantastic view across the sea horizon especially beautiful sun rise view. Besides, it’s safe for beginner like me. We truly appreciate the warm hospitality and I will definitely recommend this resort to friends and family, and look forward to coming back again. Congrats.

I’ve been to Kuching for business travel, and Raia Hotel & Convention Centre Kuching truly stands out as one of the best choices for business travellers. It’s a relatively new, modern, and well-maintained hotel — conveniently located just minutes away from Kuching International Airport (KIA). The facilities are complete and equipped with good-quality, well-kept amenities suitable for both work and rest. The rooms are exceptionally clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed for business stays. Most importantly, I would like to give special credit to all the staff — they are genuinely friendly, helpful, and passionate about what they do. Their warm hospitality and professionalism reflect the true spirit of Sarawakian service, making every stay pleasant and memorable. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Kuching, whether for business or leisure For guests who need local transport, I also recommend Aris Rental Services (Motor Kuching) — they offer reliable motorbike rental with excellent service. You can reach them directly at +************* for easy self-pickup near the hotel.

For those who may not know, the lobby is located on level 2 and is accessible by lift. The room I stayed in was very spacious; however, the cleanliness could be improved, as there were stains on the white duvet cover. I was on the 10th floor, and it was quiet at night, despite being in the city center. A water purifier is available along the corridor, and cooking utensils are provided, so you can prepare your own meals if you'd like. The Spring Shopping Mall is just opposite the hotel and can be easily accessed via a skybridge.

Two things that could’ve been better: 1. Parking I get that parking is limited since the hotel’s right in the middle of a busy road with other hotels and shop lots around. Still, it would’ve been nice to have more parking spots at the hotel itself so I could see my car and feel a bit more at ease about its safety. 2. Breakfast I get that there are plenty of breakfast places nearby, but I myself is a fan of hotel breakfast when staying at a hotel. During my 2-night stay, the menu stayed pretty much the same except for the main dish. I understand not many guests may choose to eat breakfast at hotel like me, but I wish still there was a bit more variety.

Ideally located 1km to Vivacity mall; food cafes n Mita bakery are in d front shop lots . Highly recommend to eat at nearby 'Darling hotpot' whose vast menu n friendly service leave a good taste on our palates. Sadly, our room 309 has quite a few issues: 1. Door handle is hard to press down to enter room 2. Noisy bathroom door hinges need oiling 3. Ventilation fan in bathroom not working 4. Room floor needs vacuuming, found hair n snacks fm previous guests However, I will stil give a full 5 stars for the friendliness and service oriented staff which are the pride of 56 Hotel. I was a bit disappointed with the hotel. The deco was like in the 80s. The room is old & need upgrade badly. The stain on sofa & carpet. The damp smell. The room comes with microwave and fridge but both out of order! The whole hotel a bit run down. Such a waste. But as credit I would mention that the location is good.
