If you’re anything like me, a trip to Genting Premium Outlet can easily turn into a “just browsing” → “okay, I’ll buy this” situation 😂 With plenty of outlet stores to browse, it’s a good place to look for fashion, sportswear, shoes, bags and other lifestyle items at outlet prices.

Missing Thai food? 🌶️ Absolute Thai is a good option if you’re craving something with a bit more flavor. You can look out for Thai favorites like tom yum, Thai-style noodles, rice dishes and other spicy and sour dishes. Personally, this would be one of my picks if I wanted something warm and flavorful after shopping, especially with the cooler Genting weather!

If you’re in the mood for Japanese food, a bowl of hot ramen sounds pretty perfect in Genting! 🍜 Ichiban Ramen is a simple option when you want something filling and comforting without spending too much time deciding what to eat.

☕ DÔME (Genting Highlands Premium Outlets)

🔍 Location In Outlet: Suite 1118

For a more relaxed break, I’d pick DÔME. Besides coffee and drinks, they serve comfort food such as their popular Chicken Pie, as well as desserts like ice cream sundaes. They also offer an English High Tea set for two, which could be nice if you’re stopping by with a friend. This is probably the one I’d choose if I wanted to sit down, chill and enjoy the cool Genting weather instead of rushing back to shopping.

🍫 Venchi Genting Premium Outlet (Chocolate and Gelato)

And of course, we need dessert! 🍫🍦 Venchi is a great little stop if you’re craving chocolate or gelato after shopping. I’d save this for the end of your shopping trip and treat it as a little reward before heading off.

If you’re looking for some thrills, Genting SkyWorlds Theme Park is definitely one of the places to check out! 🎡 There are plenty of rides and attractions to choose from, so it’s a fun spot to spend the day with friends, your partner, or the whole family.

If you’re mainly coming to Genting for the outdoor theme park, I’d suggest checking the weather forecast before you go. The weather up here can change pretty quickly, so picking a day with better weather can make a big difference to your experience 🌤️.

Caught in the rain? No worries! 🌧️ Skytropolis Indoor Theme Park is a great backup plan when the weather isn’t cooperating, or if you simply prefer staying indoors. There are plenty of rides here, from more relaxed attractions to more exciting thrill rides. I’d say it’s especially worth checking out if you’re travelling with kids or a group of friends, since you can still have a good time without worrying about the weather.

And honestly, having an indoor option is pretty shiok when Genting suddenly decides to rain halfway through your plans 😂.

If it’s your first time in Genting, I’d definitely recommend taking the Awana SkyWay 🚡. The cable car ride itself is part of the experience, especially when the weather is nice and you can see the mountains stretching out below you. On a clear day, the views can be pretty impressive. If you happen to catch some fog, the whole ride feels completely different, with the mountains covered in mist 🌫️. Very Genting vibes!

You can also stop by Chin Swee Caves Temple along the way before continuing up to the main resort area. Just remember to check the cable car’s operating status before you go, especially if the weather looks bad or there’s heavy rain.

Chin Swee Caves Temple

Not in the mood to spend the whole day at the theme park? Then take a little break at Chin Swee Caves Temple 🌿. Located on the hillside of Genting Highlands, the temple is surrounded by greenery and mountain views, with much cooler air compared to KL. There are several Buddhist structures and large statues around the temple, and the atmosphere here is much more peaceful compared to the busy resort area.

I’d say it’s a nice place to slow down, take some photos and just enjoy the scenery for a while 📸. And since you can stop here when taking the Awana SkyWay, it’s quite easy to fit into your Genting itinerary too.

🚗 How to Get to Genting Premium Outlet?

If you’re driving from Kuala Lumpur, just follow the route towards Genting Highlands and continue to KM13, Genting Highlands. Genting Premium Outlet is located next to Awana SkyCentral, so it’s quite easy to spot. There’s also parking available at the outlet, which makes driving a convenient option if you’re travelling with family or friends and planning to shop quite a lot.

Not driving? No worries! 🚌 You can take a bus from Kuala Lumpur to Awana Bus Terminal. From there, Genting Premium Outlet is just nearby, so you can easily make it part of your Genting day trip. This is also a good option if you don’t want to deal with driving up the winding mountain roads yourself. 😂

Here’s probably the most fun option! If you’re already at Awana SkyCentral, you can visit Genting Premium Outlet before or after taking the Awana SkyWay cable car. That way, you can enjoy the cable car ride and continue your day without needing to make a separate trip.

My husband suggested this place for our 33rd marriage anniversary and I'm thankful that we came for our 4 nights stay here! We stayed at the Deluxe King Room. Firstly the immediate response with an official/personal email from the GM Mr Tony Teh acknowledging our booking and asking if we needed anything - this is exceptional and personal which gives us such warm feelings even before we started our stay! We forgot to notify in advance about our anniversary, yet upon check in, Mr Hykal who attended to us assured us that he would check about the matter. And just happened Ms Lynn who is the Public Relations in charge was at the Front Office received what I shared and she purposely made a special effort in making the special arrangements upon seeing my email reply to their GM. We chose the Sky Cafe to have our anniversary dinner - The special decorations done in the room (as a surprise to my husband) and the special table set-up for our dinner with a special discount for our anniversary dinner. On top of it the Chef Mr Phyo personally blessed us with his special-bake chocolate cake! The GM personally came up to the Sky Cafe to meet with us, such warmth and kindness! Upon arrival as we were lazy to go out, we ordered room service and the nasi goreng was super yummy! The daily breakfast is amazing - food is delicious (had the chance to chat with the Chef Shahrul), with different spreads throughout our four days. All the staff in the Breakfast place are exceptionally friendly, polite, helpful and always with smiles! These are the personnel that I managed to get their names - At the Front Office, Mr Hykal and Mr Sharul were the first who attended to us with the rest who were very helpful to our enquiries as well: Sofy, Najwa & Syirah. A special shout-out to the Housekeeping team under the leadership of Mr Hafis - who did such a great job in making such special decorations in the room! The Sky Cafe Team who served us during our anniversary dinner - Mr Azrael, Ms Fazlin and Chef Mr Phyo. And the Restaurant great team inside the kitchen and outside the restaurant area under the Manager (I can't recall his name) who were very attentive! Ohh, the night views of Genting Hilltop from the Rooftop Pool area - superb! Mr Tony Teh, you have a great asset - your Team is amazing! Thank you for making our 33rd anniversary a memorable one, and we are already considering coming back again!

The hotel front desk staff were friendly, and there was a Chinese-speaking attendant, so language wasn't an issue. The room was spacious, clean, bright, and luxurious! They even provided beautiful complimentary refreshments! The view from the window was especially good, with the clouds in the mountains below us. It's a shame the weather wasn't great during our stay, as it was very foggy.

We had a splendid staycation here at Geo Resort & Hotel. Starting with a smooth check in process, easy access parking, there were mini stalls just outside the hotel lobby until 10pm, the hotel located very near to lots of eateries & convenient stores. We had our dinner at Mohd Chan just walking distance from the hotel. The hotel room was cozy & clean enough. The amenities provided were good, I love the shower gel & shampoo because they smelled so refreshing. The breakfast spread was limited but tasted excellent! Please try their roti canai, so good! I would recommend this hotel to anyine coming to Genting Highlands. We look forward for our next staycation here.

The service provider by the number of 0126739878 is not professional and not responsive. I was having issue of getting the key card and locating the mail box, and i try to call the number, but the operator refuse to take my call for 8 times. The price is slightly expensive considering the facilities provided. The room itself is quite basic, with limited amenities. There was no complimentary drinking water or tea provided in the room, which was a little disappointing. The bathroom was also quite small and cramped. Overall, I feel that the hotel is more suitable for a short stay, especially because of its convenient location. However, if you are planning to stay for several nights, I don’t think it offers very good value for money considering the room facilities and comfort.

Overall, the resort feels refreshed and in great condition after the renovation. My experiences stay at Midhills.First night worst, because the aircond not working properly every 1 an hour or 30 minutes shut down. Cannot sleep very well. The check-in experience was horrible, was informed by estate management that room was not ready even at 4:30pm (chk in supposed to be 3:00pm). Trip.com has to step in but seems the communication between Trips.com and estate management ((Stonez7) does not go well. I somehow managed to get into the unit at 5.00pm after few round of close follow-up. The room was cosy but cleanliness could be improved. Dust still found on the floor. The shower temperature is hard to control. In most cases, we have to bathe with cold water. We were asked to leave the unit by 11:00am on the final day. Even though we have been informed during check in that they have extended our check out time by additional 2 hours. This is totally a big disappointment as seems there has been miscommunication here and there. Anyway, plus point is that the unit come with balcony and view is nice. We are fortunate to see double rainbow from our balcony.

First, i find the naming of all the hotels confusing. Genting should just have unique names for their hotels rather than Highlands hotel - formerly known as Resorts Hotel. Then they have RW hotel formerly known as something else, Sky world hotel, Resorts World. Don't repeat the words Resort, World, Highland and make them unique. There is nothing seriously wrong except for the price. For its price, I expected the hotel to be much better. The rooms are rather jaded to be frank. I mean the price of Resorts world is about a fifth of what I paid for Highlands hotel - makes me really wonder what I am getting foe such a premium price.

I recently stayed at RustCamps Glamping Resort, and it was a wonderful experience. The place is beautiful and perfectly set up to enjoy nature and peaceful surroundings. It’s a great spot to escape the busy city life and truly relax. One of the highlights of my stay was the jacuzzi — it was incredibly relaxing and added a special touch to the whole experience. The atmosphere is calm, refreshing, and perfect for unwinding. Overall, it was a great stay and a memorable experience. I would definitely recommend RustCamps Glamping Resort to anyone looking for a peaceful and unique getaway.

There was no response from 8:00 AM regarding our check-in, and we only managed to get a reply and check in at 5:00 PM. During our stay, the lift malfunctioned for about an hour, the air conditioner was leaking water, and the water heater kept alternating between hot and cold water. Despite all these issues, we requested compensation but received none. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience that completely spoiled our holiday mood. Not recommended.

Check-in was an absolute breeze, and the staff were incredibly nice, welcoming, and helpful right from the start.We booked the 2-Bedroom Suite, and it looked exactly like the photos online.The view from our room was absolutely beautiful, directly facing the brightly lit mountain peak of Resorts World Genting and the casino complex. It was stunning to look at, especially at night! The entire building is brand new, modern, and very well-maintained. A huge credit goes to the housekeeping team—the room was spotlessly clean, and the beds were beautifully made. They clearly do a phenomenal job! The location is also excellent. It is located very close to a great selection of local restaurants. The view of the room is Highly recommended for families or groups looking for a clean, comfortable, and hassle-free stay in Gohtong Jaya. We will definitely be back!

Hotel was great and room was comfy! The staff at the concierge was warm and friendly. Ariff was his name. Free parking was an annoyance as it was in a separate block. You either end up taking lifts and moving several towers to get to the place, and signage was poor so you might get a little lost initially. Or just walk outside and skip the confusion and lift waiting. just pay for parking outside the unit to avoid all these hassle. The free onsen for those who stay there was good, albeit one of the pool was being maintained. Wished it was a bit more open air and authentic in design. Again, staff here is really friendly to explain and help.

This Airbnb looks incredibly cozy and thoughtfully designed. The warm lighting, modern furniture, and clean setup make it feel both stylish and comfortable at the same time. The room is spacious. But the toilet have that kind of smell that you know its not properly cleaned. There are even doodle marks on the mirrors. I usually sleep on 22c and yesterday 18c still feels average cold. Probably need maintainance. The breakfast selections was ok given the price is cheap. But as i was about to take the food suddenly a wasp fell off on the toaster oven before it flew on the wall next to it. Told the staff yet they didnt do anything about it. Anyone cound get bitten giving that the dining room wasnt that big. I give it 6/10 for the stay.

I recently stayed at Hotel Seri Malaysia Genting Highlands for one night. The hotel has a rather dated appearance, and many aspects of the room, including the bed, wardrobe, and furnishings, seem unchanged for many years. While the room was spacious, the overall condition could benefit from refurbishment. The room itself was reasonably clean, but the bathroom was less impressive. There were visible signs of mould and some dirt buildup, particularly in certain areas of the toilet. One of the biggest drawbacks of my stay was the noise level. The hotel is located close to the main road at Gohtong Jaya, and traffic noise could be heard clearly throughout the night. As a result, I found it difficult to get a deep and restful sleep. Overall, the hotel may be suitable for a short one-night stay if you’re simply looking for a place to rest before heading to Genting Highlands. However, for a stay of two or three nights, I would probably consider other options, especially if sleep quality and comfort are important to you.

The water pressure from the shower is low, one of us had to shower cold water until we manage to figure out the water pump. The host sent their maintenance guy to fix the water pump the next day at 9am (when we were still sleeping). Couldn't find the AC remote, took us 30 minutes to final find it next to one of the beds. The kitchen sink was clogged and making noise. Parking is a hassle as it's open air and you need to park quite a distance if you get back late. It was raining when we arrived, so we were all soaked due to the open air parking. We called the host at 12am to ask about the water pressure, he was responsive and helped us (over the phone) to sort it out. Water pressure is still low, but I guess that's the ”normal” pressure. Room can fit 6 adults comfortably. Good sound proofing.

Great host! Everything was good except the way to the property.. road was in bad shape maybe due to lots of construction site nearby..friendly host and check in & out was easy. My kids and family love staying here and consider coming back again in future..units are still new and only downside is that only 1 access card per unit which is a little troublesome.kudos to the host and please keep it up! Oh 1 last thing location was near to eateries and shops

The suite was good and spacious. It has balcony and the facility around that area is quite good. The view also nice. There is a few cafe to choose from, and retail outlet like The News and KK Mart outlet. There are basic room item provided such as iron and iron board, slippers, toothbrush, soap & Shampoo, kettle, coffee & tea, mugs, TV, safety box and hair dryer, but there is no mineral/drinking water, small fridge or microwave provided. However the check in is quite tricky as you may find the person arranging check in staying in the alley nearby The News outlet, there is no proper reception counter available. The customer service will not answer your call. They only reply via what's app so do not bother to call, you may get scolded by the lady who answered. This can be said as not a hotel service, so do not expect that kind of services from this provider. It is more like AirBnB style. However it was a nice stay just during the night i don't know why there is strange shouting and yelling and disturbing sound once in a while came out from nowhere. so it's quite disturbing my sleep a few time wake up in a shock hearing something unwelcoming sound. But if your ear is sound proof while sleeping i think it will not becoming a problem to you.

Overall stay was good. Owner was fast to respond to any needs Except we were expecting 2 single BEDS (as described in booking page), but was a little disappointed with only 2 single MATTRESS provided. So the kids had to sleep on the floor 😬 Also follow the instructions given in the series of photos. There are many tower blocks and lifts so things can be easily confused. There’s a water dispenser outside our room so that’s very helpful 👍

We enjoyed ourselves and will come back. We stayed in this unit with a friend's family. The owner was super friendly and responded quickly to our inquiries. The 3-bedroom unit was perfect for children to play together while parents enjoyed a relaxing drink. The mall downstairs offered a great dining option, however, breakfast options are limited and can get crowded, so we recommend bringing your own.

Spacious and clean, equipped with a TV, air conditioning, fridge, iron, and hairdryer. The 44th floor boasts a beautiful rooftop with a pool, sauna, and glass room, all available for free use. The staff provided excellent service, responding and bringing supplies even in the early hours of the morning. However, the WiFi was very poor and almost unusable. No disposable toiletries like toothbrushes, slippers, or bottled water were provided. The location is a bit far from the cable car station (RM15-17 by Grab) and even further from the mountain top (RM25+ by Grab).

The cleaning was not very clean, and it felt like there was no floor or table. The outside terrace was not swept and there was a lot of dust. The location is relatively remote and the others are medium. Not too bad.
