Awana SkyWay is the one most visitors use today. It takes you from Genting Highlands Premium Outlets/Awana Station up to SkyAvenue, with a stop at Chin Swee Caves Temple along the way. The ride is short, scenic and honestly quite enjoyable, especially when the weather is clear.

2️⃣ Genting Skyway

Cable Car Genting

Genting SkyWay is another cable car service in the area, connecting the Gohtong Jaya area to the resort. However, for most tourists heading to the main attractions at Genting Highlands, Awana SkyWay is generally the more convenient option.

👉 My pick: If you're visiting Genting for the first time, I’d go with Awana SkyWay. It’s convenient, the journey is easy to follow, and you get to enjoy the mountain views along the way!

Overall, it was a pleasant stay. The room was clean and tidy, the environment was comfortable, and the overall value for money was quite good. I was pretty satisfied during my stay, making it a great choice for travelers. The only minor drawback was that no cutlery, such as forks, spoons, and plates, was provided in the room. It was a bit inconvenient if you wanted to buy food and eat in. Hopefully, the hotel will consider providing basic tableware in the future to make the stay even more convenient for guests. All in all, it was still a good stay and definitely worth recommending!

This is my 2nd time book this suite. The suite is minimalist concept. But all the essentials equipment was completed fullfilled. Suite was clean and tidy. Staff was friendly. Will follow up for check in and checkout even thought is self check in and check out. This locations was Convinient with nearby or walk distance with restaurant and mart ( Kk mart, 7 eleven, 99 speed mart) nearby also have starrbucks and Family mart. Is a very chill suite for me....air was fresh and strong windy. Suitable for staycation relaxing and family time. Will book again for this suite when holiday. Price was reasonable even is during holiday.

A really great hotel! I forgot my deposit when checking out, and the front desk staff actually ran out of the hotel to return it to me. The hotel is very welcoming, the pool is excellent, the room is great, and the breakfast is good. The location is also nice, with lots of good food nearby. Every day in Malaysia was a happy one.

The service provider by the number of 0126739878 is not professional and not responsive. I was having issue of getting the key card and locating the mail box, and i try to call the number, but the operator refuse to take my call for 8 times. It was frustrating when u couldn't get the check in process done and the operator refuse to take my call. i will not book through this operator anymore

2 queen beds, the room is quite spacious. There is no aircond, but there is a fan at the top and if you open the windows some cold air will come in to cool the room. The small fridge is not cold, not working well so it's just a storage space. The front desk is helpful in bringing more hangers for us. The toilet & bathroom is separated, water pressure is STRONG and hot water is working well. Lots of restaurants in the mall next door. An enjoyable short trip!

Location was convenience. The self check-in kiosk was terrible. Need to be improved. We arrived at 2pm. Only managed to check-in at around 6.00pm due to some technical issue when using the kiosk and we need to take queue number for the reservation counter. The hanger was placed outside the bathroom instead of inside or at least a steel rack should be installed inside to put out cloth or towel. Overall is satisfactory.

Downsides: - The hotel area is a bit tucked away, and there's construction going on around it. - The Wi-Fi is intermittent. - The TV is the same. Probably because it's connected to the Wi-Fi. However, since we went to Genting to play indoors, it was fine. We didn't really watch much TV. Overall, 8/10 ✅

Lots of small cockroaches, everywhere in the room and kitchen, but couldn't find the source. It seemed like our unit hadn't been occupied for a long time because I kept sneezing when we first came in, and I had to clean the dust myself. The view is beautiful, truly beautiful. Everything else is okay and just like the photos. There's also laundry available, and many restaurant choices nearby. It's just that the kids were scared by the small cockroaches.

The check-in experience was horrible, was informed by estate management that room was not ready even at 4:30pm (chk in supposed to be 3:00pm). Trip.com has to step in but seems the communication between Trips.com and estate management ((Stonez7) does not go well. I somehow managed to get into the unit at 5.00pm after few round of close follow-up. The room was cosy but cleanliness could be improved. Dust still found on the floor. The shower temperature is hard to control. In most cases, we have to bathe with cold water. We were asked to leave the unit by 11:00am on the final day. Even though we have been informed during check in that they have extended our check out time by additional 2 hours. This is totally a big disappointment as seems there has been miscommunication here and there. Anyway, plus point is that the unit come with balcony and view is nice. We are fortunate to see double rainbow from our balcony.

Booked: 6 Rooms and 2 Houses (2 room, hall and kitchen) Overall, the location is good and convenient, although you will still need to drive up to Genting Highlands. Things to know: • Free parking for 1 car per unit • RM200 deposit per unit required (refunded very fast) • Lifts can get quite congested during peak/rush hours • Toiletries provided: shower gel, shampoo, toothpaste and toothbrush • Kettle provided • Only 1 towel per room was provided • No complimentary bottled water The unit was suitable for a family stay, and having free parking was helpful. Just be prepared for the busy lifts during peak periods and bring your own drinking water. Overall, a practical option if you're driving and looking for accommodation around Genting Highlands.

Hotel was great and room was comfy! The staff at the concierge was warm and friendly. Ariff was his name. Free parking was an annoyance as it was in a separate block. You either end up taking lifts and moving several towers to get to the place, and signage was poor so you might get a little lost initially. Or just walk outside and skip the confusion and lift waiting. just pay for parking outside the unit to avoid all these hassle. The free onsen for those who stay there was good, albeit one of the pool was being maintained. Wished it was a bit more open air and authentic in design. Again, staff here is really friendly to explain and help.

I recently stayed at Hotel Seri Malaysia Genting Highlands for one night. The hotel has a rather dated appearance, and many aspects of the room, including the bed, wardrobe, and furnishings, seem unchanged for many years. While the room was spacious, the overall condition could benefit from refurbishment. The room itself was reasonably clean, but the bathroom was less impressive. There were visible signs of mould and some dirt buildup, particularly in certain areas of the toilet. One of the biggest drawbacks of my stay was the noise level. The hotel is located close to the main road at Gohtong Jaya, and traffic noise could be heard clearly throughout the night. As a result, I found it difficult to get a deep and restful sleep. Overall, the hotel may be suitable for a short one-night stay if you’re simply looking for a place to rest before heading to Genting Highlands. However, for a stay of two or three nights, I would probably consider other options, especially if sleep quality and comfort are important to you.

Nice hotel with good facilities, especially for families. The gym, children’s playroom and swimming pool are great additions and we enjoyed our stay overall. The only issue was an unpleasant smell coming from the toilet/drain area in our room, which seemed like a drainage or plumbing issue. Hopefully the management can look into it and fix the problem. Overall, a pleasant stay and we would consider coming back again.

Very spacious unit with amazing view. Can fit a large group of 8 people comfortably and comes with full with complete set of amenities, towels, dyson hairdryer and 2 sets of mattresses. The unit we stay is located at the Towel D which is the same block as Antara by sleeping lion. One of the best selling points is you can request for free housekeeping service during your stay. One downside is that you will need to pay for a parking fee of RM15 per entry per day (weekend rate) for each car and it cannot be validated, as compared to if you book directly with Antara sleeping lion all guest can validate their parking and will only need to pay for a RM5.30 per entry per day parking fee. While there’re 3 bathrooms, only 2 bathrooms have shower head, the other bathroom is only a usual toilet.

Overall stay was good. Owner was fast to respond to any needs Except we were expecting 2 single BEDS (as described in booking page), but was a little disappointed with only 2 single MATTRESS provided. So the kids had to sleep on the floor 😬 Also follow the instructions given in the series of photos. There are many tower blocks and lifts so things can be easily confused. There’s a water dispenser outside our room so that’s very helpful 👍

The apartment was just right for our group of six women, with two King Size beds and one single room. There were also two additional single mattresses that could be laid on the floor if needed, accommodating two more people. All the facilities in the house were great, but there was nowhere to hang things except inside the wardrobe. We had to drape wet towels or clothes over furniture in the living room or on chairs outside. I'd suggest adding a clothes rack in the bathroom – it's really inconvenient without one! 😅

The road to this hotel was a lil bit confusing as the hotel situated inside the compound with another 2 crowded chinese restaurants. Location wise, GPO just a stone throw away. For muslim, it’s quite hard to find place to eat nearby the hotel. The room was exceptionally clean and cozy. There were mini fridge, aircond & TV provided. The room was spacious too. The cleanliness was top notch, somehow the toilet a little bit smelly. The trip to this hotel tarnished by the unwelcoming gesture from the receptionist. No guest should be treated with “annoyed” face upon check-in like we did something wrong when what we only did was just step into the hotel. The check in process was long too, we have never experienced this at another hotel.
