St Regis is a grand hotel that needs no introduction. Immense rooms, big and comfortable beds, excellent bathroom, great gym, delicious, varied and huge breakfast. It's one of the best 5 stars hotels brand in China. Nonetheless , we have to say that we had an issue with the air-conditioning. The air was not freezing enough, and we suffered from heat during the night, especially if you consider that the blankets are very thick. Traveling with 4 adults and 2 children: 1. This place is perfect for multi-generational family trips. The rooms are spacious, giving the kids plenty of room to play. The two bedrooms are also well-separated, offering both proximity and privacy. 2. The service is absolutely five-star. Lily at the front desk was so kind and friendly; she even gave the kids a small gift and offered a late check-out, considering their nap schedule. Mr. Chen, the concierge, greeted us warmly every time we entered. When we checked out, he single-handedly and efficiently loaded seven pieces of luggage into our car. I booked this hotel for my trip, and the location is fantastic – right in the city center with tons of dining options nearby. There's even a decent hotpot place right by the subway entrance. The staff here are incredibly thoughtful and responsible. As someone new to the area, they were always ready to answer any questions I had, making for a truly wonderful experience. The rooms are spotlessly clean. It was really heartwarming to be greeted so warmly by the cleaning staff in the hallway every time – it genuinely felt like a home away from home. The front desk team was also incredibly thoughtful. They even offer a laundry service, washing and drying clothes if you're too busy sightseeing, and folded everything neatly in a basket – a truly thoughtful touch. There's also complimentary self-service freshly ground coffee in the lobby, and a cup before heading out in the morning is just what you need to feel refreshed.
