Macau Taxis

Whether you’re heading straight to your hotel for check-in after landing ✈️, rushing to catch a show 🎤, or simply too tired to walk after a long day of shopping 😣, taking a taxi in Macau is always a convenient option!

Although Macau is a small city, many popular attractions are spread across three main areas: Macau Peninsula, Taipa, and Coloane. If you’re carrying luggage or travelling with family, hopping on a taxi can make your trip much easier 👍. Even when I visited Macau myself, I found taking taxis much more convenient than I expected. There’s no need to constantly figure out bus routes or drag your luggage around while changing transport. Plus, Macau taxis follow a clear fare system, so you don’t have to worry about unexpected charges 💰.

🚕 Macau Taxi Introduction

Macau Taxis

Macau taxis are easy to spot, with the common ones featuring a black body with a yellow roof. You can usually find them easily near the airport, hotels, ferry terminals, and popular tourist spots. Although taxi fares are slightly higher compared to buses 💰, the convenience and time saved make them a great choice, especially for first-time visitors travelling around Macau.

🚕 Types of Macau Taxis

🔍 Type

🚕 Regular Taxi

📲 Radio Taxi / Booked Taxi

🌟 Features

The most common type of taxi in Macau. They usually have a black body with a yellow roof and can easily be found near tourist attractions, hotels, and along the streets.

Can be booked through phone calls or taxi apps. Some vehicles are newer, making them a more convenient option for travelers.

🔍 How to Ride

Look for taxis with the “For Hire” sign displayed on the roof, then simply wave to stop them. Taxi queues are also available at the airport, ferry terminals, border gates, and hotels. Just wait in line and board when it’s your turn.

Download taxi booking apps such as Macau Radio Taxi / eCall Taxi Plus or other taxi apps, enter your pick-up location and destination, then wait for the taxi to arrive at the designated pick-up point.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Best For

Travelers who want to get a taxi anytime without making a booking in advance.

Travelers who don’t want to wait by the roadside, are worried about communication issues, or need a larger vehicle.

Advantages

Convenient and quick, with taxis usually easy to find in popular areas.

Allows you to book in advance and reduces the hassle of searching or waiting for a taxi.

Disadvantages

During peak seasons or around busy tourist spots, you may need to queue for a while.

During peak hours, taxis may be harder to book, and waiting times may not always be shorter than getting one on the street.

💡 Tip: For first-time visitors, regular taxis are usually the easiest option. If you're heading to the airport, carrying lots of luggage, or travelling in a group, consider booking a radio taxi in advance for a smoother journey. 🚕✨

🌙 Late-Night Macau Taxi Guide

Macau Taxis

No need to worry about getting back to your hotel after a night out in Macau! 🌃 Macau taxis operate 24 hours a day 🕐. However, do note that a late-night surcharge applies between 11:00 PM (23:00) and 7:00 AM (07:00). During these hours, an additional MOP 5 surcharge 💰 will be automatically added to the fare. 🚕✨

💡 Late-Night Taxi Tips

⚠️ Tip

💡 Details

Popular areas may have longer waits

Taxi queues can be longer on weekends, public holidays, and late at night around casinos, hotels, and major attractions.

Book ahead for early flights or ferries

If you're heading to the airport or ferry terminal in the early hours, consider booking a taxi in advance.

Carry some cash

Some drivers may have limited change, so it's a good idea to keep some small MOP or HKD notes on hand.

Be clear about your destination

It's usually easier to tell the driver your hotel name or a well-known landmark rather than a street name.

🚕 How to Take a Taxi in Macau

🚕 Method

💡 Details

Hail a Taxi on the Street

Look for a taxi with a black body, yellow roof, and a “For Hire” sign on top. Simply wave your hand to stop it.

Queue at a Taxi Stand

Taxi stands are commonly found at Macau International Airport, Taipa Ferry Terminal, Gongbei Port, major hotels, and popular attractions. Just join the queue and wait for your turn.

Book via an App

Use Macau Radio Taxi, eCall Taxi Plus, or other taxi-booking apps to reserve a ride and wait at the designated pick-up point. 📲

💳 Macau Taxi Payment Methods

Besides cash payments, electronic payment options are becoming more common on Macau taxis. You can usually pay with Macau Pataca (MOP) and Hong Kong Dollars (HKD), while some drivers may also accept RMB.

Most taxis now support electronic payments, including options like Alipay, WeChat Pay, BoC Pay, and credit cards. However, it’s still a good idea to carry some cash as a backup in case of payment issues or connection problems. 💰🚕

🔒 Taxi Etiquette & Safety Tips

  • Fasten your seat belt once you get in the taxi.
  • Smoking and eating are not allowed inside the vehicle.
  • Check your belongings (phone, wallet, passport, etc.) before getting off.
  • ✅ If you lose something, keep the taxi plate number or receipt details to help with the enquiry. 🚕

The room was clean and tidy, and the bedding was super soft. The front desk service was also very friendly, and the value for money was absolutely amazing! It's close to Bishop's Hill, and parking is free if you're driving. The room had great natural light, the bathroom was clean, and check-in was quick. I felt really comfortable and at ease during my stay. Definitely recommend it to anyone who likes a peaceful environment.

This hotel is located in Macau Peninsula's Ponte 16. The room was spacious, and the bathroom had a separate shower and toilet area. There's a bus stop right outside the hotel, making transportation very convenient. The buffet lunch at the hotel's Seawind Restaurant was rich and varied, with the fried rice and beef brisket noodles being particularly delicious. I especially loved the small pastries and desserts, which were exquisitely made. As a French brand, Sofitel really excels in its desserts – thumbs up! 👍

Had a fantastic experience! The young man with glasses who checked me in was super nice. He upgraded my room and even sent up fruit and a cake. He also took the time to explain the hotel facilities and resort (I forgot the name of the resort, but the service was excellent). Room 916 was great, and the toiletries were lovely and fragrant. The hotel is centrally located and has a really charming, vintage feel to it, with lots of international guests. The lobby is quite photogenic, especially with the grand staircase and chandelier! The hotel's location is also convenient, with a bus stop nearby.

There were two things I was happy with, and two things I wasn't. This was our first time in Macau. We’ve stayed in many 5-star hotels before, so we didn't have high expectations, but Studio City Macau pleasantly surprised us. When I booked on Trip.com, I mentioned it was for a birthday celebration and asked if the hotel could arrange a birthday setup or cake, but I didn't receive any reply. At check-in, the front desk didn't seem aware of this request either. However, I must highly commend Marco from the front desk; he added 80 points to our experience at this hotel! 👍🏽 After hearing my request, Marco proactively arranged for the decorations to be set up after we left the room, asked what time I wanted the cake delivered, and then even extended our check-out time, adding, “The most important thing is to have fun.” Marco felt genuinely friendly, not like the jaded or robotic staff you sometimes encounter at other 5-star hotels. He showed genuine warmth and was very patient in answering our other questions. Furthermore, every request we made via the in-room phone was met with polite, patient, and accommodating service from the staff, which truly made us feel at home. The second thing I want to praise is the hotel room. I honestly didn't have any expectations for the hotel, as it’s not a brand-new property, so I anticipated it might be a bit dated. But I was pleasantly surprised the moment I stepped in! The room's hardware was well-maintained, and its cleanliness was perhaps the most spotless I've ever encountered in a hotel. You could tell from the bathroom – not a single water stain! No hair, no dust, the bathtub was incredibly clean, and we were very satisfied. The room also came with complimentary snacks, drinks, and fruit, which was a lovely bonus. The only minor drawback was that the TV wasn't a Smart TV, so if you wanted to watch Netflix from your phone, you had to ask the front desk for an external connector. Also, the room felt much larger than it appeared in the photos, which was another great surprise. Now for the two things I was unhappy with: First, while most hotel staff were very nice, a few male concierges were utterly unprofessional and rude – worse than what you’d find in a low-grade hotel. Both times we approached the concierge with questions, their attitude was like that of *****; they rolled their eyes and were impatient, even though three of them were just standing around chatting, not busy. Our questions were very simple. Me: “Excuse me, what facilities are exclusively for hotel guests?” Concierge: (Dismissive, unwelcoming tone) “Huh? None.” Me: (But the front desk mentioned a sauna near the water park? We also bought park tickets, so I wanted to clarify.) “Like, the gym? Pool? Sauna?” Concierge: “You have to pay!” Me: (What’s wrong with paying? My question wasn't about whether it’s free or not.) “So, which facilities are there?” Concierge: “They're all closed.” (It was around 9 PM at the time.) I have to commend Marco again, because his excellent service kept our spirits high throughout our stay, so we didn't bother arguing with those concierge '*****'. However, because of them, I can only give the service 4 stars. The second dissatisfaction: The hotel breakfast. The concierge told us breakfast hours were from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. We arrived at 10:29 AM, only to be told that breakfast was actually from 7:00 AM to 10:30 AM. We rushed to grab food, but a male restaurant staff member was already competing with us, clearing away food and tongs. He even threw food away right in front of us, preventing us from taking any… was he really in such a hurry? We were helpless and asked him for tongs, but he impatiently told us to find other tongs that hadn't been cleared yet. We sat down, and by 10:50 AM, a female staff member came over to rush us, saying they needed to do a deep clean. I ate my food under pressure in 20 minutes and left, feeling utterly uncomfortable. There were still many people in the restaurant at the time; we weren't the only ones.

The room was pretty good. Even though the hotel is a bit old, I'd stayed here once before 1999 (when there was no Grand Lisboa or Venetian Macau), and it's clear they've been continuously renovating. They offer a shuttle service from the Gongbei Port to the hotel. The staff were all very enthusiastic, helped with my luggage, and communication was seamless. You can easily walk to famous spots like the Ruins of St. Paul's, St. Dominic's Church, and Senado Square. Margaret's Café e Nata (for egg tarts), Yee Shun Milk Company (for double-skin milk pudding), and Koi Kei Bakery (for local snacks) are all nearby. Plus, casinos like MGM and others offer free milk tea, Coke, Red Bull, coffee, juice, sausage buns, and red bean buns – the rich folks really are generous!

I can’t recommend the Hotel Royal enough. Its location is optimal and close to every historic and cultural landmark in the old quarters of the Macau Peninsula section of the city. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful and go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and welcomed. And the rooms are very clean and comfortable

I stayed in Macau for two days and one night, and their service really left a deep impression on me. The front desk lady who checked me in was so patient and accommodating. She saw I had two kids with me and it was our first time here, so she pulled out a map and explained everything in detail, even marking it with a pen. It was really thoughtful, I just didn't catch her English name! The cleanliness? Fantastic! It was super clean, my son even said the floor was so shiny you could see your reflection.

In late May, I took a ferry from Hong Kong's Sheung Wan pier to Macau's Outer Harbour Ferry Terminal, then walked 20 minutes to the Rio Hotel. The hotel strictly enforces its 3 PM check-in policy, and there were many guests waiting to check in at that time, so we all had to queue up. The standard room was very spacious (much more so than Hong Kong hotels). I booked the hotel through Trip.com for an average of CNY 450 per night, which included breakfast for two (the breakfast was decent and suited to average tastes). The hotel is very close to Macau's famous landmark, the Ruins of St. Paul's, and is within walking distance. After checking out this morning, I stored my luggage and spent most of the day exploring Taipa. To get back to mainland China via the Gongbei Port, you can hitch a ride on the shuttle bus from the neighboring hotel. I visited Taiwan in 2019, and now that I've explored Hong Kong and Macau, I've checked off all the boxes for my travels!

The hotel doesn't offer a shuttle service. From Macau Airport, you can first take the Venetian Hotel's shuttle. Get off at the Venetian, then walk across the street (about 1 minute) to transfer to the Sands Macao shuttle. After getting off at Sands Macao Hotel, it's a 2-minute walk to Harbourview Hotel. The room was comfortable, and the bathroom had a separate wet and dry area with good water pressure. However, there was a musty smell when I first entered the room, but it dissipated once the air conditioning was turned on. The sea view was mediocre. The staff were friendly. Guests can purchase breakfast/lunch/dinner at a discounted price, which is slightly cheaper than booking through online platforms.

It's hard to believe the hairdryer at the Crowne Plaza is broken; it overheats and stops working after just ten seconds, as shown in the video. The room facilities, cleanliness, and view are all excellent, and the service is great too. The front desk service was very thoughtful. The shuttle bus to the border gate drops you off about 700 meters away, so you have to walk the rest of the way. The bus was on time and not crowded. The front desk staff were very kind. A friend had an interview in the afternoon, and they helped us with a late check-out. I requested a room with a good view, and they provided one with a view of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge, which was truly fantastic. The room also had an extra-large bathtub.

Traveling with a friend after the May Day holiday, I booked two rooms – one with twin beds and one with a king bed. There was a connecting door between them. I called the front desk and asked them to open it, instantly turning them into a convenient suite for interacting, yet we could close the door for privacy when resting. The hotel is surprisingly quiet despite being in a bustling area. The rooms are clean, and the beds are very comfortable. I booked without breakfast, opting instead to explore the streets and alleys for a unique Portuguese-style breakfast, which was a wonderful experience. Upon returning to Gongbei Port, I booked a shuttle at the lobby for a specific time. The 8-seater car was very comfortable, much better than taking a random taxi to the port. The driver's service was excellent, a definite commendation!

This was our second night, and the room had a beautiful view of the surroundings, offering a clear sight of Macau Airport and the LRT station. The breakfast buffet was incredibly rich and varied. If you book a room and choose the option that includes two breakfasts, it's really good value for money and highly recommended. However, if you stay for more than one night, the in-room beverages won't be as plentiful as on the first day; only bottled water will be replenished. This is something that could be improved.

This was our first time staying at Galaxy Macau, even though we've brought our baby to Macau 6 times. It's usually so hard to get a room here, so we were thrilled to finally book two nights. And the experience? Absolutely amazing! Our baby didn't want to check out. Every day, the kids could enjoy the Kids' Club on the second floor for two hours, and we had unlimited access to the Grand Resort Deck all day long. The wave pool at the water park was so much fun, and the water was really clean – plus, you could even dig in the sand! The lazy river was also a blast, and it made for some great photos. The staff were wonderful; they even did turn-down service every evening and replenished everything we needed in the room. They had thoughtfully prepared a tent, toys, and a bed rail for our baby in advance. The room was also spotlessly clean. Dining at Galaxy was very convenient, with places like Tsui Wah offering delicious food. Shopping was also super easy. We didn't even need to leave the hotel! The Diamond Show in the lobby was captivating; our baby wanted to watch it multiple times a day. We'll definitely be staying at Galaxy Macau again next time. Highly recommended!

Excellent hotel located in the green part of Coloane Island. It's a very peaceful area with sea views from the window. Quiet, with the sounds of the jungle. I love walking on forest trails, and near the hotel, there's plenty of space – huge parks with well-maintained paths for hill walks. You could probably explore different trails for a week. I really enjoyed it. In the center of the park, there's a massive A-Ma sculpture and a Buddhist temple. The hotel doesn't have its own beach access, but it does have swimming pools. There's a public beach nearby, so it's not an issue. I was very pleased with the bedding in the room – the mattress was perfectly soft, and the blanket was well-chosen, making it ideal for sleeping with the air conditioning on, neither too hot nor too cold. The hotel isn't new; it seems to have been built in 1993, and there's a certain charm to its slightly older feel. Some of the old furniture and wooden doors remained in the room, which I found beautiful. The breakfasts were superb – delicious and varied. I wasn't impressed with the lunch and dinner menu at the ground-floor cafe; it was expensive and uninspired. The Japanese cafe upstairs was decent. There's a street cafe near the hotel, towards the beach, which seemed good, but I didn't eat there. I'm very satisfied with my stay; it's a beautiful, green part of the island. A pleasant hotel that I recommend.

I checked in early because of Ctrip VIP, but other guests didn't. The room was standard and relatively new, and they gave me a small gift and welcome fruit. They also gave me a subway card, which was unexpected. I didn't plan to take the light rail, but I experienced it and went to the Mazu Temple, which was very popular. The breakfast was OK, but not very good. There was one problem, the shower water temperature was unstable, and it was scalding from time to time. This is unacceptable for a hotel that costs 5,000 per night. In short, I didn't like it very much, nor did I dislike it very much. I probably won't book again.

While the hotel is indeed a bit old, it's very spacious, the service is excellent, and it offers incredible value for money. Since there were plenty of rooms available, the hotel generously upgraded both our rooms to Big Ben views. My kids were thrilled to find the bear and duck toys as soon as we entered the room. They spent two days happily playing in the pool and didn't want to leave! The pools are on the smaller side, but the heated pool and hot tub are a huge plus, so we didn't have to worry about the kids catching a cold. They also offer free use of kids' swimming rings and kickboards, along with complimentary lemonade and fruit cups – the service is really impressive. The only minor downside was that one of our rooms had a strange odor, though the other didn't. The air conditioning was very quiet too. I'd definitely book this hotel again next time.

The hotel's price fluctuates a lot. It dropped from the original booking of over 3000 to just 2200, while other platforms offered it for 1900 for three nights. Despite paying more, I wasn't given a better experience. For example, they refused to include breakfast, claiming it was from a different company than the front desk. My room upgrade only got me a 'view room,' which turned out to be quite noisy at night. To top it off, there was no comb in the room. I only realized this on the third day and, even after reminding them, it still wasn't replenished. It took several calls to finally get one. Overall, the service felt very tired. While every call eventually resolved the issue, many small details were still overlooked. The bathtub drain was clogged and needed someone to come fix it because the cover was stuck. All in all, I'd say it was just passable. At this price, it's not worth it. If it were around 600-1000, then maybe. I believe since I booked the more expensive option, the hotel should have included breakfast.

Mandarin Oriental is one of my favorite brands, so staying here whenever I visit Macau is a must. It truly embodies a rich cultural heritage and understated luxury. From the warmly welcoming doormen dressed in traditional Qing dynasty attire, to the bellhops and front desk staff, everyone was wonderful. A special shoutout to the lovely Ms. Ye, the Front Office Manager, who upgraded us to the best view room, personally wrote a card wishing my child good luck on their exam, and prepared a beautiful, delicious cake (with chocolate frosting bearing a message of good wishes). It was such a delightful and touching surprise! Thank you again! Oh, and the bellhop even arranged for a cute cartoon electric cart to take us and our luggage to the neighboring MGM to catch our bus back to Hong Kong 🚌.

Attended a conference at the university next door. It's a very quiet hotel, and public transport and taxis nearby are all convenient. While not overly spacious, the rooms are thoughtfully designed and comfortable, maintaining a respectable standard. The linens are like new, reflecting the hotel's high management standards, which truly deserves praise. The cleanliness is impeccable, and the service is quite satisfactory, especially their excellent luggage storage service. What's particularly impressive is the complete absence of noise despite being in such a bustling area, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep – truly satisfying! The value for money is outstanding! Around the hotel, the nearby streets and alleys offer a wide array of dining options, with various Chinese and Western restaurants to choose from. A dim sum restaurant is right around the corner, so you can fill up on breakfast before heading out to explore. Due to other commitments, I only stayed for one night in a rush. This will definitely be my go-to hotel on my next visit!

Arrived at the hotel at 11 AM and the front desk staff were incredibly welcoming, helping us check in early and even upgrading us to a business room. The room wasn't huge, but the layout was very efficient, with distinct areas for the bathroom, sleeping, and a small living space. Everything was spotless and comfortable. The hotel's location is super convenient for transport. It's right next to the Sands Hotel, and just a short walk to catch a bus from Sands directly to The Venetian, The Londoner, and The Parisian. Lotus Square is right next to the hotel, and behind it is Macau Polytechnic University. If you want to visit the Ruins of St. Paul's, it's about a twenty-minute walk. Fisherman's Wharf is directly opposite the hotel, and there's a bus stop right on the side of the hotel, making getting around incredibly easy. For this price, given the location and the hotel's quality, I'd definitely choose to stay here again on my next trip to Macau.

The hotel is quite grand and the rooms are very spacious, though a bit old-fashioned. There was a faint 'ding-dong' sound occasionally at night, so the soundproofing could be better. The service was excellent; the front desk staff were very welcoming and my luggage was delivered right to my room door. The shuttle service was great, running every few minutes, very convenient! Recommended.

Took my dad to Macau, and I really appreciate the hotel manager for their thoughtful arrangements. They knew my father doesn't like too much sun, so they assigned us a room with a great view that wasn't exposed to direct sunlight for too long. All the staff in the hotel lobby were so nice. The hotel's location is excellent; it's convenient to go anywhere and great for shopping! I'll definitely choose Grand Emperor again.

Transportation: I chose this hotel for a concert, and it was super convenient to get to the Galaxy Arena. It's just two stops on the light rail, and the hotel is very close to the station, about a 6-7 minute walk. Plus, there are many supermarkets and restaurants right downstairs, which was incredibly convenient. Cleanliness: The cleanliness was excellent. There were no stains or dust on the tables or sinks, and the cleaning staff did a thorough job, even folding my pajamas. Service: Before I arrived, I saw many reviews complaining about poor staff attitudes, but my actual experience was very positive. All the staff I encountered were friendly and greeted me warmly. Any issues I had were quickly resolved by calling room service, which was just a quick press of '6' on the phone. Environment: The environment was good, but the soundproofing was really bad. I could clearly hear people walking in the hallway and even conversations from the next room. Facilities: The facilities weren't new, but they were well-maintained. The air conditioning couldn't be adjusted, and the hotel kept it too cold, so I turned it off. Even with it off, it was still cold, which might be due to the room's orientation. I stayed in Macau for four days in May and didn't need to use the AC once, haha. The temperature without it was just right, even a bit cool. Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay!

One of the most iconic buildings in Asian (one of the ugliest too??) with a great view over the lake from the room. A lot of options for foodies and the food quality was high. Service was good even before the holiday. However, if you are looking for a relaxing and zen holiday, this would not be ideal. The lobby is always packed; it looks like a train station. The interior design of the room... I am not capable of appreciating it (yet). Love the in-room steam shower very much.

They arranged an early check-in for us, and the extra bed was set up beforehand, but the placement of the extra bed could be better. Hotel rooms in Macau are generally spacious, so three people didn't feel cramped at all. When we checked in, the front desk offered a no-deposit option, but it came with the condition that the room's mini-fridge would be locked. While technically not wrong, it felt a bit odd to hear. Also, the front desk didn't mention any of the perks included in our package deal from the platform; they didn't inform us about any benefits we could use. It felt like the hotel wasn't keen on guests booking with package deals. Finally, I'd suggest the hotel assign room attendants based on guests' nationality. My elderly parent was alone in the room and couldn't find anyone who spoke Chinese.

The room was fine, and the bedding was very comfortable, so I had a great rest. Due to a flight change, my flight was rescheduled to depart in the evening. I tried asking if a late checkout was possible if the room was available, and the manager readily agreed. I ended up checking out at 1:30 PM. I want to thank the staff again for their understanding; it was truly very accommodating. Also, the free luggage storage after checkout was super convenient. I'll definitely consider staying here again if I come back to Macau.

Because I'm used to it, I like the hotel feel. Familiar feeling. Moreover, it is very convenient to go to Yaohan, the old street, and it is convenient to eat and shop nearby. The hotel service is also very good. We were upgraded to a luxury suite once. Very praiseworthy. It's a pity that the big fish tank is gone. . .

This hotel had just opened, and because I have a special connection with London, it had been on my radar. For our anniversary trip, it was the obvious choice. Five days before our arrival, a hotel staff member called to ask about our needs for the stay. They also added me on WeChat to provide important check-in information, including the airport bus connections and details about the Huating Club benefits. **Facilities:** The layout of the living room, bedroom, and bathroom was well-designed and flowed seamlessly. The bathroom fixtures were all luxury brands, and the bedding was incredibly comfortable. There was even a foot massager in the living room, which was a thoughtful and friendly touch. **Environment:** All the rooms are designed as suites, making them comfortable and practical. The lobby, breakfast area, afternoon tea restaurant, and cocktail bar all boast an exquisitely luxurious design with a strong British vintage feel. **Service:** From the moment we stepped into the hotel, the butler service made us feel truly at home. After checking in, our butler, Cindy, escorted us to our room and provided a thoughtful introduction. She was available online throughout our stay, arranging meal times and seating, organizing anniversary room decorations and a celebratory cake, and even bringing us small desserts and handwritten cards in the evening. The service was incredibly meticulous.🌹 The restaurant staff also made our experience very enjoyable. A special thanks to Willian, the handsome gentleman at afternoon tea. His warm smile was charming, and his professional and attentive recommendations for freshly made desserts felt like he could read my mind. I was holding a bottle of sparkling water and was about to open it myself when he appeared by my side, providing the perfect service – twisting it open and pouring it for me, all seamlessly. This is the highest level of service. Candra, who worked at the Leadenhall Market breakfast, spoke fluent English and was delightful and incredibly attentive. We went back for breakfast a day later, and he immediately recognized us, greeting us warmly with a special sense of familiarity. Knowing we were leaving after breakfast, he mentioned he had specially made a rose latte for Madame, which made us very happy. I also want to thank Jessica at the evening cocktail bar for making us anniversary fruit cakes for two consecutive nights and for taking photos that beautifully captured the ambiance.❤️ After all that, I haven't even mentioned the amazing food at the Huating Club. The breakfast was so rich it was moving, with various sashimi, seafood congee, seafood noodles, chicken soup with fish maw, various Cantonese dim sum, steak, and lamb chops – all fresh and delicious. And it's available until 1 PM, which is perfect for late risers. After exploring and sightseeing, there's also an excellent afternoon tea with a wide array of exquisite desserts, savory snacks, and beautiful small bites. During cocktail hour in the evening, not only are drinks unlimited, but they are paired with a whole set of beautifully plated snacks, and the offerings change daily – so much thought put into it. The service and food are absolutely top-notch. The experience was fantastic. I will definitely choose this hotel again when I come to Macao next time.

The location is a bit of a downside, as it's far from the popular hotel areas, and we often needed to take a taxi to get around. However, precisely because it's away from the bustling areas, there were fewer other tourists at the hotel, which meant less crowding and noise. We could truly relax and enjoy a holiday feel ^_^ The hotel itself is very upscale, grand, and luxurious. The rooms are new and very clean, and the service is incredibly attentive and meticulous. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and definitely worth waking up early for every day. In fact, the breakfast was so good and filling that we couldn't even try other restaurants for lunch. I definitely hope to have the chance to stay here again in the future. It was a wonderful trip.

An absolutely wonderful experience! The front desk service, provided by a Malaysian girl, was exceptional. From check-in to personally guiding me to my room and explaining all the facilities and their use, she was incredibly nice. The room itself was spacious, and the fresh and delicious fruit delivered daily was a lovely touch. Evian water was readily available everywhere. The room was also cleaned promptly and thoroughly. The 31st-floor pool was sparkling clean. All in all, this is hands down the best hotel in Macau. I will definitely choose Banyan Tree again for my next visit.

Not the most convenient location, but there’s shuttle buses provided by the hotel to/from the Outer Harbour Ferry Terminal, The Venetian and The Parisian. Shuttle buses to the hotels at Cotai Strip only starts from 11AM though, would be great if it can start earlier. The staff also made up for it with their service! They were very helpful in directing us to the bus stop that we were looking for, and helped us to break our note to give us small change so that we can get around Macau by public bus. Ron very kindly upgraded us to a sea view room and we had a very comfortable stay!

My wife and I chose Nuwa in Macau to celebrate our anniversary, and the hotel's arrangements were an incredible and pleasant surprise. A special thank you for the thoughtful flowers and red wine, which added a wonderful sense of occasion to our anniversary celebration. The in-room details at Nuwa are absolutely top-notch: **Premium Hardware:** The quality of the toiletries and slippers is excellent, and the mini-bar is fully stocked with drinks and a coffee machine. **Thoughtful Design:** The room features a direct HDMI input, which was incredibly smooth and convenient for me, as I enjoy casting media and watching sports. Regarding service, I particularly want to commend Tiffany at the front desk, the staff member who assisted with our luggage (Mr. Yu, if I recall correctly), and the staff member who helped us open our red wine. Their service during our stay was professional yet incredibly friendly, always prioritizing the guest experience and making us feel right at home. Having stayed at dozens of hotels in Macau over the years, Nuwa definitely ranks in my top three. Both the physical amenities and the soft services are of the highest standard. Highly recommended!

The room was great, exceptionally clean and hygienic. The front desk lady was very nice, providing excellent and enthusiastic service. The space was large and very comfortable to sleep in. Plus, it had a window for ventilation, which is great for air quality, as many hotels in Macau don't have windows. Late check-out was also a plus. There's a restaurant downstairs and even a massage place. It was absolutely fantastic! 👍👍👍

Facilities: The facilities are new and excellent. Most of the room features can be controlled by a tablet, though the air conditioning seemed to have a slight issue with cooling. Cleanliness: Very good. Environment: All rooms are suites, very spacious. The minibar not only has free drinks but also snacks. Service: Truly exceptional. Every staff member was incredibly enthusiastic and seemed to genuinely enjoy their work. When we checked in, a staff member not only escorted us to our room but also enthusiastically explained all the facilities, dining options, and more. When we checked out, a staff member who had just returned from vacation even walked us all the way to the shuttle bus station. I was truly touched by this; such service is practically unheard of in domestic hotels nowadays. Yingxinghui is genuinely great, and I will definitely choose it again if I have the chance to return.

This is by far the most welcoming hotel I've stayed at in Macau 🏨. A lovely lady at the front desk, realizing we were two families traveling together with two children, proactively arranged connecting rooms and upgraded one of our original king rooms to a Parisian Macao Eiffel Tower 🗼 view room. We ended up with a spacious two-bedroom, two-living room suite, and the kids were thrilled, playing trains 🚄 and doing gymnastics 🤸 in the room. When we requested a change to the minibar drinks, a server 💁‍♀️ promptly came to replace them. Plus, we received a complimentary exquisite afternoon tea set upon check-in, a three-tiered French Eiffel Tower 🗼 pastry stand 🥧 that was incredibly ceremonial!

The hotel is located right in the center of the old town, which makes it very convenient—most attractions are within walking distance. The view from the room overlooking the city is definitely a nice bonus. The staff speak English and are very helpful, which made the stay much smoother. There’s also a free luggage storage option, so you can easily leave your bags after check-out without any hassle. That said, the hotel itself feels a bit outdated and doesn’t fully match the photos in terms of quality. However, we chose one of the cheapest options in Macau for a weekend stay, so we weren’t expecting anything luxurious. Overall, it’s a practical choice if location matters more than comfort.

True to the Holiday Inn standard! First off, the front desk staff were incredibly thorough and thoughtful during check-in. The room was spacious and bright, easily accommodating two 28-inch suitcases laid open without any issue. The bedding was top-notch, and the bathroom was spotless with no hidden corners. Our room rate included breakfast, and the restaurant was well-managed with staff seating guests, offering a rich, tasty, and distinctive breakfast spread. But what truly stood out was the hotel's direct check-in and baggage drop-off service for Qantas guests – a huge thank you for that!

I frequently stay here. Although the rooms are small, they are clean and hygienic. Especially now that they've switched to disposable sheets and duvet covers, it's even more reassuring to stay. Even the bath towels are disposable! Thumbs up to the owner 👍. The front desk staff are all very good. This place offers good value for money, and it's not too far from Senado Square. It's incredibly convenient for dining, drinking, and entertainment, being close to the Ruins of St. Paul's, the Grand Lisboa, and the Macau Tower. I always stay here for the annual International Fireworks Display and the International Food Festival. I'll continue to choose this place when I visit Macau.

I booked this hotel for a weekend trip to Macau with my parents. The location is a bit out of the way, but Macau is small, and public transport is convenient. It's a 30-minute walk to St. Paul's Ruins, or four bus stops, and getting to the border gates is easy. However, there aren't many dining options near the hotel; after 9 PM, apart from the supermarket right outside, there's nowhere to eat. The lobby on the first floor is tiny, more like a guesthouse. The family room itself was quite spacious, but the furnishings were old and basic. The price was very high for a weekend, over 800 RMB on Ctrip, while it's only around 300 RMB on Sundays and weekdays. A night at a luxurious hotel in Fisherman's Wharf only costs 500-600 RMB. This was the worst hotel we stayed at during our entire trip.

We spontaneously decided to visit Macau during the May Day holiday, and since we were traveling with a child, I looked for a hotel with convenient transportation. We entered through the Hengqin Port, took bus 25B to Grand Lisboa, and then it was just a few hundred meters walk to the hotel. The hotel's decor had a very authentic Macanese style, with a quaint charm. The room was spacious and cozy, and the cleanliness was excellent, with no missed spots and a very clean carpet. The breakfast, in particular, was truly outstanding. It felt like a proper breakfast restaurant, offering very authentic Macanese dim sum with substantial ingredients. Each person could order two steamed dishes and one noodle dish (rice vermicelli or regular noodles). The cream bun was delicious, even better than those from a bakery. The beef brisket ho fun was also very flavorful. The beef tripe and curry squid were fantastic, and the shrimp dumplings were packed with whole, large shrimp. It was truly excellent. Even at check-out, my child said they hadn't had enough of the breakfast yet.

Location: Directly opposite the main entrance of Macao Polytechnic University, just across the road – an excellent choice for students coming for exams on Saturdays! There are also many attractions nearby. The Lotus Square is right next door, and Sands Macao and Fisherman's Wharf are a 5-minute walk away. Walking along the main road in front of the university, you can reach Grand Lisboa in 15 minutes. A half-hour walk up a hill path (with some elevators) will take you to the Ruins of St. Paul's. From here, you can easily visit the attractions in the old town of Macau Peninsula in half a day. Facilities: Very new. Although the room isn't huge, it's comfortable enough, and it's very quiet at night. Perhaps it's because it's near the university and many students come for exams, but the guests generally seem to be of high caliber. Cleanliness: Very clean and tidy. Environment: There are various small and large restaurants nearby to suit different preferences. There are also small breakfast spots, which are a big plus for those who don't have high demands or can't dine at the hotel due to exams. Service: The service attitude is excellent! They are very experienced in accommodating students who come for exams. Not requiring a deposit is a great policy; after all, everyone checks in based on trust. Compared to some other hotels in Macau that still require deposits, this approach is much more humane!
