PPengguna TetamuAt first, I thought it was a bit far but once I started to explore, I appreciate the location as it is set away from the crowd but very walkable. About 10 mins walk to the LV iconic ship one way, 10mins walk or thereabouts to West Nanjing Rd Butterfly Cremarous in another direction and if you head off in another direction, about 15mins to IAPM mall. The service was great. The girls were helpful with our Taobao packages and also when I wanted to order food delivery. Self washing machine and dryer were easy enough to use. Cleaners really kept the room tidy. Some construction when we were around end of May 2026 but not too bad. As with most places in China, you will have random smokers inside but our room did not smell of smoke so that's a RELIEF! Another minor negative was the bathrobe was in tatters but that was only the 1st day out of 4 nights stay Also at times, food delivery person could deliver to your room even though you need card access. Worth nothing though I haven't felt unsafe. I actually like the room layout, felt spacious and also probably the only hotel where I have watched so many movies.

It is sure back like home. Ms Aurora Gan is very friendly to walk us the hotel check in and check out. Will come back to stay again.

The room was spacious, elegant, and beautifully designed, with a modern yet luxurious feel. The highlight was definitely the stunning skyline view—especially at night, the city lights created a breathtaking atmosphere right from the comfort of our room. It was a perfect setting to relax and unwind. The beds were extremely comfortable, with high-quality linens that ensured a restful sleep. The room was impeccably clean, and every detail reflected the hotel’s high standards. The bathroom was equally impressive, featuring a well-designed layout, a strong shower, and a generous bathtub, making the overall experience even more enjoyable. The service was exceptional, as expected from a Ritz-Carlton property. The staff were professional, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Check-in and check-out were smooth and efficient. The location in Pudong is very convenient, with easy access to shopping malls, restaurants, and key attractions. It is an excellent choice for both leisure and business travelers. Overall, this hotel offers a perfect combination of luxury, comfort, and service. PPengguna TetamuWe stayed as a family of four with two children. The Peninsula Shanghai provided us with interconnecting rooms. The rooms were excellent, tastefully decorated and quiet. The amenities (hotel pool and gym) were in very good condition, breakfast was great, and we enjoyed our stay thoroughly. We'll be back for the last leg of our journey and are looking forward to it.

PPengguna Tetamuwe stayed here for the free shuttle to disneyland and pick up to and from the airport. disneyland shuttle only operates 720am (to disney) and 1020pm (back) its early but the park opens at 830am and we reached the park’s entrance after walking at about 815am so it works out. airport pick up has no timing, you contact the hotel to get their wechat and arrange for the shuttle. for shuttle to the airport they have hourly timing except the early mornings 4am, 6am, 8am, 10am then hourly. can check with the front desk. rooms wise it was so smelly with smoke and the sheets were obviously not changed because it reeked and they definitely knew because our windows were opened and the air freshener was plugged in. saving grace was the breakfast we paid for and shuttles

PPengguna TetamuThe hotel is beautiful, situated right on the bund. The breakfast is good and the beds are comfortable. My family and I were travelling through China for 4 weeks, and I booked this place for 4 nights, we usually like to stay in places where we can do laundry, here we had to use an outsourced business to get our laundry done as there are no laundry facilities close by and it would have cost us $500 aud to get our laundry done through the hotel. Just something to be mindful of if you are travelling with a family. However in saying that, the process of outsourcing was only made possible because of the assistance given by the hotel. I’m glad we booked it, the experience overall was great.
