Hands down the best location if you wanna be away from the center crowd but also wanna be close to pretty much everything. The staff was great. We got late for breakfast a couple of times and the staff was so kind to extend their breakfast timing just for us.

Had a great experience as a solo traveller. All I needed was a comfortable bed and a shower in the morning and this fit that purpose. Room is well designed, and had plenty of hanging / storage space. Matress is firm, which is how I have mine so I was happy with the comfort of my sleep. No problems with both heating and cooling, as well as no hot water problems. Only thing I would say is if you’re staying on an outside room, and the rain is pretty hard, it will cause some noise as it hits the metal structure. Didn’t bother me, but it could bother others who are more sensitive to noise. I’d stay again , and felt it offered great value for money

Hotel in lovely area, 15 min tram to the centre, good sized clean room - basic decoration. Very much a backpackers hotel/hostel vibe. Not for someone expecting a prestige type room for the price. There was a mini fridge in our room we found very useful. Cleaners and staff were great, iron was avaliable, and slept with little noise coming from neighbouring rooms. The place had a nice atmosphere with the music venue and studios on the ground floor. We were very worried after reading some bad reviews but relieved by our actual experience of a spotless room, fresh towels everyday and a fan in our room when it was warm. It still seems a little overpriced in comparison to hotels in other cities but I think its average when it comes to Amsterdam with limited accommodation options.

Hotel was great for the price you pay. The rooms are tiny (barely enough room to open a suitcase) and although situated conveniently next to a metro station is in the middle of nowhere but again, you get what you pay for and the lobby, gym and communal areas are well designed and well kept. If you don’t mind a 15/20min Metro travel to Amsterdam Centraal you wouldn’t mind it here I give the hotel 2 stars because I accidentally left my Apple Airpod headphones in the lobby area the day I checked out to visit another hotel in Amsterdam, although when I called Hotel Leonardo that same night to ask them if they’d been handed in I was told they hadn’t. I travelled down to the hotel the next morning to be told the same thing, that there were no headphones that had been handed in but they asked for my name and previous room number so they could contact me should they turn up. Luckily I was able to make my lost AirPods make a sound (findmyiphone feature you can activate when you lose a device) and I could hear them beeping behind the front desk so I told the receptionist that I knew they were behind the desk and she eventually handed them over. I firmly believe the hotel staff were trying to keep my misplaced AirPods headphones and if I had not been able to make the sound from the Airpods they would have pocketed them

I was a little concerned about this hotel after reading so many bad reviews, but I decided to give it a chance, since the location and the price were so perfect. I was not disapointed. The staff was very friendly, the room, the sheets, towels and bathroom were really clean. I could point two negative things about this room: it was really small (which was no problem, I was alone) and my pillow was nothing but a folded blanket inside a pillow cover. Other than that no complains. Could definitely stay here again.

Name is somewhat misleading as it is too far from airport to walk there and only info I found about the shutlle bus was about going to the airport, not from the sirport. Taking a bus in Amsterdam is surprisingly, stupidly, inconvenient, as cash is NOT accepted and one must have a separate credit card fro each person, also same numbered bus terminates at different stops. Room didn't have a fridge but when asked was pointed to an ice making machine Room didn't have a kettle, but reception did have a very limited number of kettles available. Breakfast was a good buffet breakfast with limitef choices. Aircon seemed to actually work, so better that othe recent places we stayed at.

This is my fourth time staying at this hotel and Mackey was fantastic yet again. He is extremely helpful and attentive and is a real credit to the hotel. Thankyou Mackey for your great service every time I have visited. The hotel was very comfortable and the breakfast great.

Super seperti bilik dan disyorkan tinggi di Amsterdam. Hotel ini berhampiran dengan Amsterdam Sloterdijk dengan jarak berjalan kaki kira-kira 5 minit. Walau bagaimanapun ia tidak berdekatan dengan Amsterdam Centraal tetapi ia masih sangat mudah untuk pergi ke Central melalui bas 22 dan kereta api antara bandar. Bilik ini sangat besar dengan kemudahan dapur yang lengkap, peti sejuk dan mesin basuh pinggan mangkuk. Katil sangat selesa dengan tilam saiz raja dan kami tidur dengan lena setiap malam semasa penginapan kami. Hotel ini sentiasa menginap di wangian bau yang harum dan kami sangat menyukainya dan pasti akan mengesyorkan kepada orang lain dan akan kembali untuk menginap.

I enjoyed my short stay in this lovely hostel which I choose due to close distance from Schiphol airport as my flight was early morning. When I arrived I was warmly welcomed polite and helpful staff. They explained to me how to get to the airport by public bus as they do not have free shuttle. Be advised that free shuttles of other hotels do not usually run before 6:00 AM. Also they gave me wake up call in the morning. The room and bathroom big enough, bed very comfy for good night sleep. The room temperature can be self-controlled, the window is impossible to open. WIFI worked well. There is a restaurant and mini market next to the reception and lobby. Due to the early morning flight I did not have a breakfast which is served from 6:30. Bus stop just 100 meters, up the bridge. Ride to the airport just 5 min, you pay by credit/debit card.

I couldn't be more pleased with this hostel! I highly recommend it. The hostel, including bathrooms and showers, was very clean. The beds were super cozy and comfortable and offered some privacy. Staff was super sweet and helpful. Bonus points that the lobby always smelled like toast or freshly baked cookies! Also, the bike rental service was fantastic. One suggestion for improvement is that it would have been nice to have some wall hangers in the room. Since there were none, people resorted to hanging stuff from the bed ladders or just putting it on the floor.
