It is a travel in time. Literally. Building is a jewel, truly extraordinary, in good shape. Common areas are in good shape yet a bit dated and lack decent lightning. it’s shame Bedrooms though are less than a 3 stars. All is BAD except the linen; lack of furniture; no tv channels; terrible lightning; it’s unexplainable. Bathroom is spacious and from the 1970s but I liked it very much design wise. The attitude of staff is VERY weird, as if everyone knew something is wrong. We arrived in a rainy evening. The check In person was nice but seemed lost or that he had drunk too much. Unclear. We had dinner and breakfast there. The price of wines is a scandal. Absurd. Food was ok, also overpriced. The hotel is clearly understaffed in order to be kept afloat. They ask you to please book the breakfast time. Staff was okish, old fashioned, not kind, burned out perhaps but trying to do their work ok. There was a strange demeanor though— most specially someone that identified himself as ‘Barman’ and that seemed to be the head of some mafia. Really bad energy from him. The whole thing does not feel credible, even the descriptions of the group to which the hotel belongs sound infatuated. To sum up: Is a grand and old hotel that clearly needs to change hands, enter in a diferent attitude towards hosting, get into a new type of grandeur and life that honors the incredible building and location. Now, for €107 with breakfast, I highly recommend it! Have dinner somewhere else or there, take your wifi, enjoy the park, wake up in the middle of the forest etc. breakfast is 4*.

We booked this hotel for one night as a treat for a bit of R&R after our city break in Porto. We arrived a little early, about 2.30 and the room wasn't ready yet. After checking in, we went for a little walk round the grounds and by the time we returned the room was ready. We had booked the private pool suite, as we were celebrating a birthday, and it did not disappoint! It is definitely one of the most luxurious, high tech rooms we have stayed in. Everything was spotlessly clean, the room was nice and spacious, it had all sorts of high end features(like ireless phone charging pads and a google speaker) and all the usual features were finished to a high standard. The terrace was lovely and although people could see us (depending on the angle) it still felt very private. The pool was lovely, it was quite warm (it was July) but still refreshing enough, especially when sitting in the shade. It was lovely to sit in the pool and take in the view of the beautiful trees. It was so still and peaceful, the only sound was the odd bird or the ringing of a nearby church bell. We went for dinner in the hotel restaurant. The service was great, the menu was a little limited but the food was tasty. I can't eat gluten and they had a good understanding of this. In the morning at breakfast there was gluten free bread, cake and biscuits. It would have been good if they were covered, to avoid cross contamination, as they were next to the normal toaster but it was still good to be catered for. After we checked out of our room we laid by the main pool. There are lots of loungers and it was nice to use the pool, sauna and hot tub. Also, we were able to shower and change in the spa which was handy. Overall a great stay and we would definitely return.

When we arrived on our bikes, we were greeted so nicely before we even went inside. The staff here are invested in your every compfort 100% and 24/7. The hotel and our amazing beach front room with balcony is very upmarket. Someone has gone to alot of expense and effort to provide everything you could possibly need and with no costs spared. We would highly recommend the Furodouro Botique Hotel for your next beach holiday getaway.

Hotel yang sangat sunyi. Walaupun terdapat bangunan yang megah, semua kakitangan sangat dekat dengan para tetamu dan mengambil berat tentang kebahagiaan mereka. Kali ini saya tinggal di bilik superior dengan tingkap besar. Kawasan dan cahaya langsung tandas adalah yang anda suka. Restoran ini menawarkan bufet seimbang, sarapan yang indah dan semua yang anda mahukan. Perkhidmatan restoran dan sarapan yang baik. A large hotel in the centre of town close to just about everything. It is a bit old fashioned in many ways, with its late 60s décor, thick carpets and wood panelling but that’s all part of its charm. We did have a problem in the bathroom of the room that we were at first given, but after the duty manager saw the problem he swiftly made arrangements to offer us another room, which turned out to be a suite with two balconies. The bed was super comfortable, but we loved most especially the restaurant, both for the ample breakfast and evening meal, which was exceptional value - table service, pristine white tablecloths and napkins, waiter service and three courses with a bottle of wine included for just €12.50 -incredible value. If I said old fashioned, then turning the clock back to experience the way things used to be done, as the norm, was really appreciated.

Upon entering the hotel lobby, we were warmly greeted by Diana & Catia. They offered our friends and us a free room upgrade which was so kind. The rooms were themed. Our room was a classic decor and our friends' room was modern deco. Very comfortable beds and linens and the bathrooms were opulent! Both rooms had views of the canals with the colorful boats sailing up and down the canal. The breakfast was tasty, with many choices. Afternoon happy hour and snacks served by the friendly barman Ivo, made us feel like we were family. We needed a ride to Porto (about 1 1/2 hrs from Aveiro) and the Hotel recommended the very professional services of TaxiGlenn. Out of all the accommodations during our 5 week stay, Hotel Moliciero was by far the highlight stay for us!

Stayed 2 nights. Room spotless with adequate space. Breakfast was extra as was underground parking. Really friendly bar staff and wasn't expensive. The restaurant was being refurbished so ate in the town which would take around 10 mins. Averio is a little Venice and we went on the gondolas, for 45 mins was 15 euros each but worth it. We didn't book the trip in advance but you can do. Would definitely recommend the hotel and the area of Averio

Unfortunately this hotel is absolutely atrocious, over priced and has appalling service. We paid for a deluxe room but it was so small, dark to the point that even with all the lights on you couldn't see anything in the wardrobe, and no sockets near any mirrors so if you like to style your hair and see what you are doing forget it. The spa is ok but on our first use there was a kids swimming lesson going on so all we could hear was shouting, then the second time the spa was full of kids screaming and when we complained they said they couldn't do anything. Unfortunately as this is the only big chain hotel on Aveiro it hasn't got any competition so doesn't care about standards. Please think twice about staying here as it's not worth the cost and you'd be better off looking at smaller boutique hotels in the area.

Aveiro is a quaint city - access to main attractions was easy from hotel. Room was comfortable and clean. Staff helpful with luggage storage. Breakfast was excellent. Recommend it.

This is a charming traditional hotel in a very convenient quiet position. It was very good value for money and the staff were very helpful. My room was spacious and comfortable with a good bathroom. Lovely towels and bed linen and of course, being in Portugal, spotlessly clean. It is an easy walk from and to the train and bus stations particularly if you come out of the correct exit! The walk down to the action is simple and takes around 10 minutes. The walk back up is apparently a gentle slope but having been in Porto and Coimbra just before I didn’t really notice that! The hotel organised an excellent taxi service (Mario) to take me to Costa Nova and then pick me back up. I’m very glad I added Aveiro to my itinerary and that I chose to stay at Hotel Veneza. Highly recommended.

Um hotel fantástico no centro de Aveiro, bem perto de tudo. Quarto maravilhoso com um ótimo colchão e duas almofadas fofinhas e eu que tenho problema de coluna, dormi muitíssimo bem. O wc é pequeno mas não houve nenhum problema por isso, o chuveiro efeito de chuva é enorme e os amenities Azzaro formidáveis. O roof top ao fim do dia com vista para o canal e uma bebida é Top. O pequeno-almoço é maravilhoso e não falta nada, sumo natural, fruta, chá, café, iogurtes, ovos mexidos e bacon, pães diversos e croissants, doçaria diversa, foi o que me foi servido à mesa e combatemos assim o desperdício dos buffets, pelo menos nos pequenos hotéis onde claramente não se justifica. Parabéns às colaboradoras que se cruzaram comigo, todas profissionais e simpáticas. Recomendo e certamente voltarei. Obrigada
