We went to Dubrovnik and spend a beatiful week in this apartment. Apartment was equipped with all the equipment, from the kitchen to the equipment for washing clothes, so everything was at our fingertips. The maids are very kind and we had daily cleaning every other day where they even took out the trash. The staff at the reception kindly welcomed us and after a quick check-in took us to the apartment. We would recommend this facility to everyone because it is very accommodating, luxurious and has everything you need. Not to forget that they immediately delivered a babycot for a small baby upon request.

The service couldn't be any better. Hostel Angelina apparently have 6 locations (unbeknownst to us at the time) and we arrived at the northern building late at 10 pm after the reception had closed, despite having a reservation at the southern pa. Nonetheless, we managed to notify someone, we were then let in and checked in properly, even though we were at the wrong location. There were free beds, so despite our mistake everything was fixed for us. The receptionist was even off-hours but helped us out anyway. Thanks so much!

I have to confess that I am very late writing this review. I travelled in May 2019 and not May 2020 as I have incorrectly indicated. I apologise to everyone, particularly the host Dino, for my tardiness in this respect. You couldn't find a better location for Dubrovnik City. It overlooks a small but beautiful bay (featured in Game of Thrones - whatever that is?) and faces a dramatic looking castle at the end of a warren of quiet, narrow streets, that is less than a 5 minute walk from the Pile Gate, ie the main entrance to the old city. This is further topped by the most helpful and informative host, Dino, who walked down with me to watch Liverpool's great Champion's League semi final win against Barcelona in the nearby Kop Bar - another place that should be visited. During our stay Dino's mother was also visiting and she kindly baked delicious pastries for us, which we were able to eat on the terrace. Finally, the room was well equipped and comfortable. In short, the whole experience was extremely enjoyable

Please listen to me when I say this this not the place for you. Let me preface this by saying, I have worked in hotels and completely understand that things break and it’s out of our control. It’s the complete lack of communication from the management that I take issue with. To start, when I booked through ******* weeks before my arrival I messaged the hotel and asked if I could come store my bags since I would be there prior to check in time. No answer. That should have been my first clue about their atrocious customer service. I forgot about it until the day before and messaged them again via *******. Still no answer. I found them via WhatsApp and messaged them at 7:29 am. Almost three full hours later they finally responded that yes, I could drop my luggage off (spoiler alert- I had given up on getting a response and already went straight to the property and dropped it off with the guy at check in). They also said that the lock on my door was broken and wouldn’t be fixed until the next day and they could provide other accommodation. Unfortunately I did not see their message because I was exploring old town and at the beach and didn’t realize there was an issue until I went to check into the room around 3:00 pm and could not lock the door. I went downstairs and informed the check in guy who said he would contact the manager. Ok no big deal, I thanked him and went back to my room and waited and waited, and finally contacted the manager via WhatsApp again and asked about another room if this one could not be fixed. They said there was no other rooms available tonight and that hopefully the repairman would be able to resolve the issue (3:45 pm). Why did they offer alternative accommodation if they had no rooms available?? I wait some more and finally decide I need to shower so I lock the bathroom door since I couldn't lock the actual room door. Fast forward to me being locked in the bathroom for a good ten minutes. Long enough for me to begin to panic because my phone was in the main room and would anyone hear me? I finally get the bathroom door open and clearly there has been no repairman during this time. I message the manager again (4:45pm) and asked if they knew when he would be here as I was getting very hungry now. I can see they are online. No response. Twenty min later I texted them a “?” Again I see them come online. Still no response. I finally just grab anything that important that I wouldn’t want stolen and head to dinner. In the meantime I contact ******* to make sure this whole situation is documented. The ******* representative also contacted the manager and did not get a response. 50 minutes later I message them again that this is unprofessional and unacceptable and also their listing is still showing on Kayak yet they said they had no rooms available. Like I said I totally get that these things happen. What upsets me is that their way of dealing with it was to completely ignore me instead of checking in and keeping me updated wi

The room was very clean and spacious, they don't seem to have double room, all are twin room. The location is slightly inconvenient, it is true that it is only 5 minutes walk away from the main bus station, it is quite far from old town, you either have to walk 45 minutes up and down the mountains to get to old town, alternatively, you will have to catch a 15 minutes bus ride, which comes every 15 minutes.

There are 3 studio apartments just off the main ***** of old town (Stradun), we were in ‘Orlando’ on the 3rd floor. As per other reviews there is a lot of stairs if you have an issue with your legs or health be aware. Dubrovnik old city is pedestrian only so it’s a walking holiday break/ plus many flights of stairs to the room. But you’ve been warned ! The studio is beautiful and spacious not at all cramped. Wifi and tv worked well. Shower and hot towel rail worked well. Iron in the corridor and washing machine in the bathroom (no dryer but heated towel rail works well). Full length mirror was lovely good space for trying on clothes make up hair etc. With a plug there too. Bed comfortable and amble room for hangers and storage. Kitchen equipment provided including microwave, nespresso machine kettle. I would recommend if the owner could provide a welcoming bottle of water on arrival. We stayed in 5 other location/ apartments in Croatia and this was the only one which didn’t provide a complimentary bottle of water. Location was slap bang in the old town but old town is small so no matter where you stay in old town you would be slap bang where you need to be. Fantastic well appointed apartment in a beautifully renovated historic building in the heart of the old city. We stayed in a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment on the top (third) floor of the building. The flat had a lounge, dining area and kitchenette with hob, fridge, microwave, kettle and sandwich toaster. There were air conditioning units in both the living area and bedrooms. We had a lovely view over the rooftops towards the hills to the north east of the city. There is also a washing machine and drier that are free for guests to use. We had good communications with the hotel via email. The building is a 5 minute walk from Pile Gate and there is no lift so it wouldn’t be suitable for someone with limited mobility.
