This is one of the best hotels in the area. The place is not super cleam, just ok clean. But good enough for a 1 night stay.

Ouf, what a hidden gem! The bungalows at Purwa Ijen are top-notch, offering an amazing value for money. It is located in a super authentic, small and peaceful village with beautiful views and lush vegetation (besides all the rice fields). Our highlight was the breakfast, where we got the best smoothie bowl on our whole trip through Indonesia. The Ijen tour (500K) was also an unbeatable price. Transfer to the Bali ferry for 200K was also affordable. We especially loved the spacious bathroom and the comfy terrace with jungle and ricefield view. IMHO Purwa Ijen is one of the best value accommodation you can find in the Ijen area, highly recommended. WiFi also worked like a breeze.

Hartelijk ontvangen door de gastvrouw. In eerste instantie lijkt het allemaal zeer luxe en dat is het vast ook geweest…. Bij het inchecken moesten we al beslissen wat we ‘s avonds wilden eten. Keuze was beperkt omdat er een aantal zaken niet voorradig waren, hotel was vol werd gezegd, inkoopfoutje? En we zaten helemaal alleen te eten. Wat we uiteindelijk kregen was redelijk. Het zwembad was heerlijk na een lange reisdag, maar wel vies. Zwarte randen, ook in het bubbelbad. De douche was niet echt warm en bij de wastafel was alleen koud water (lastig met scheren). De airco op onze kamer werkte slecht, omdat de elektriciteit regelmatig wegviel. Gelukkig konden er wel ramen open, dankzij de goede horren. Er is alleen in de badkamer een stopcontact, gelukkig hadden we zelf een contactdoos voor meerdere stekkers bij ons, zodat alle apparaten weer opgeladen konden worden. De kamers zijn twee onder een kap, we hadden een heel gezin naast ons, tamelijk gehorig…. Verder eindeloos, luid gezang van verschillende moskeeën in de buurt, maar daar waren we op voorbereid, onze oordoppen brachten uitkomst, Kortom een hotel met alle potentie, maar er moet hier en daar wel wat gebeuren.

What an incredible hotel! We loved every minute of our stay. The staff are fantastic, so friendly and so helpful! We felt so supported and cared for. They were smiley, attentive, and welcoming to the hotel. Top quality service from all of the staff! The attention to detail was incredible. Lovely menu with a mix of Indonesian and western food, an INCREDIBLE breakfast buffet with so much choice! The room was clean and felt fresh, the pool area was amazing (we used the pool a lot!) and the bed was so so incredibly comfy. The hotel staff even arranged a breakfast box for us when we left to get an overnight train- a really appreciated gesture. Would 100% stay here again, it felt 5 stars!

There are so much to critisize about Dialoog for booking a suite room. From the first time we arrived that we can't use too much hot water, because it only provides for two people when I was bringing 2 children so we have to wait for some time to refill the hot water tank. And for a suite they don't have a refrigerator in the room. The amenities very standard, only dental kit. The room itself so spacious, and we got the sea view which was super nice. The facilities are complete, spa room, gym with equiped tools, the infinity swimming pool also nice and clean. The surrounding view was the best! And here come the not so good part, the breakfast experience. As the biggest resort in town, the breakfast variations was very limited! Because after this hotel I moved to another hotel, Dialoog breakfast can't even compare to them. The taste wa so so. They only provide black coffee, and when my husband wanted a cup of latte we have to pay for extra price which in another hotel we got it for free. And it's standard in 4-5 stars hotel. Only a black coffee when we pay 3 million/day for a suite. They don't put the juices in jar, but as per request they poured it for us in a small glass, and the variation of juices only papaya, watermelon, and melon. Super standard food variation. You can have it all you can drink was tea , water, and coffee 😁 It was peak season and I don't impressed at all with the food. At least I was amazed by the views and the resort. So it covered my dissapointment of hotel experience. Will I come back again to this hotel? NO! It wasn't worth the price trust me, unless ypu choose this hotel ONLY for the views.
