I recently had the pleasure of staying at Guesthouse Aurora, where the charm of the establishment was only matched by the warmth of its hosts. Nestled in a convenient location next to the Church, the guesthouse presented itself as an inviting home away from home, perfect for travelers looking for an authentic and personal touch to their accommodation. Before arrival, we were worried that we cannot checkin because we took a night flight. However, when i called the staff, he answered that even our arrival time is out of customer service, he could leave the key and PIN code for us to self-checkin, he also went beyond to ensure a smooth check-in process. Their attention to detail and eagerness to assist with any inquiries set the tone for a delightful stay. The guesthouse itself boasted a quaint and cozy atmosphere, with communal areas that were well-kept and adorned with tasteful decorations, offering a homely comfort that was immediately noticeable. The included breakfast was a highlight of the stay, featuring a generous spread of both local and continental options, freshly prepared and sure to satisfy a variety of tastes. The morning meal provided a wonderful opportunity to mingle with other guests and exchange travel tales, all while enjoying the delightful array of food. However, it's worth noting that the room space was somewhat compact. Guesthouse Sunna is in a wonderful location, almost in the center of the city. The property is clean and well tended. Breakfast items were ample and good tasting. My major complaint is about the reservation process. The room is a ”Twin” with two beds. When I arrived with my daughter I had to pay an additional $45. The woman at the desk told me that I had to register my daughter in the initial reservation. I remember seeing no way to do that. As a result, I assumed that a twin room with two beds would allow me to include my daughter in the reservation. I don't understand why a Twin room with two beds can't accommodate two people.

Loved this guest house, really cheap option for a quick stopover and super close to bus stop. Great owner gave me a room when I arrived early, much appreciated. It's like a hostel, not posh, you get what you pay for. Overall I was very happy, even a little communal kitchen.

Perfect location for a quick stop in Reykjavik. It’s not the cleanest of places (kitchen sink and stove was a bit dirty, but hey… what do you expect? It’s very clean compared to other hostels/hotels with shared kitchens like this!) but still worth every penny. I’d go there again any time. They do have a cozy library. All in all I really do like the vibe of the place 🫶🏻

The room was spacious and clean, shared bathroom was also clean. Good spread for buffet breakfast and good amenities to use in this guesthouse. There was a strict check in at 3pm but the host let us wait in the waiting area when we arrived at 2:30. It has nearby bus stop but everything is walking distance if you brace the weather.

旅館的地理位置不錯，靠近教堂和Fly bus station，步行十來分鐘。 就是酒店裡的燒開水壺壞了，衹好用鍋燒水老來泡麪。 旅館沒有接待人員，大門上貼了通知，需電話旅館得到開門密碼後拿房間鑰匙自行入住

Se suponía que tenía que retirar las llaves de la habitación por el Hotel Vikings, que está ubicado en otro lugar, pero las llaves te las dejan adentro de la habitación y a mí nunca me enviaron el mail con el número de la habitación. nos alojamos 2 adultos y 2 niños, pero solo había mantas en la cama pra 2 personas, y solo 2 toallas para bañarse. Lo demás, está muy bien todo.
