Best location! It was near and easy going around Yosemite park from this hotel. Right outside our room was the river and it was the best sight specially in the morning. Love the big bath tub with jets! Just needs more cleaning coz i noticed it has got molds already. There is absolutely no phone signal here and Wifi is not free so you have to purchase on check in. Funny tho coz once you are in Yosemite park, there is LTE signal. There is fridge, cooking utensils, electric stove, plates, cups, cleaning stuff, room was huge!! We got the 2 queen beds room type. The food in their restaurant is not so bad, the service could be better tho. Our food came super slow. There is plenty of parking space and its for free. I never get to try their pool and laundry facilities.

LA에서 가장 저렴하여 숙박을 5일간 하였다. 좋은 시설인데 관리가 잘안되어 있다. 숙소 청결 샤워실 청결, 온갖 버린 옷들이 쌓여 있고 변기는 똥이 많이 묻어 있고 온수가 나오지 않아 춥게 샤워 했다. 룸에 냉방온도가 너무 낮아서 이불을 덮고 추웠다. 냉방기 온도관리를 잘했으면 한다. 2층 공용공간에 세탁기 냉장고 취사시설이 참 좋다. 그런데 냉장고나 선반등에 오래된 음식 조미료 등이 많이 쌓여 있다. 매일 관리자가 와서 무언가 하고 가는데 별로다. 이글을 쓰는 저로서는 이해가 안된다. 모텔관리에 경험이 있는 나로서는 이좋은 시설을 엉망으로 만드는게 안타갑다.. 주방시설이 되어있어 식비가 반정도 밖에 안들어 가니 좋고 세탁비도 안들고... 건물과 시설이 얼마 안ㄷ보인다.. 관리의 조언을 올리자면.. 1. 청소를 깨끗이 하는게 처음에는 힘들지만 좀지나면 매우 쉬워진다. 특히 변기.. 장갑을 끼고 변기를 닦으면 위생적이나 시각적으로 보이는 부분이나 손님들이 편하다. 변기는 꼬 비데를 설치하기를 권한다. 깨끗하고 위생적이고 휴지소비와 쓰레기가 줄어든다. 바이러스 예방에도 넘무 좋다. 건물에 냉난방 덕트시설이 참 좋다. 그런데 덕트 입출구에 먼지가 엄청쌓여 위생 효율면에서 않좋다. 냉난방 시설은 조그만 관심을 쉽게 유지보수를 할수 있다. 2. 2층 주방의 냉장고는 철저히 관리 하고 선반등의 조미료는 다 버려도 된다. 오래되었고 주인도 없다. 특히 냉장고는 개인물품을 비닐보관 할때 이름과 입고 날짜를 써야 한다. 유성팬등으로 쓰면 된다. 주인 없는 물건은 모두 버려야 한다. 3. 좋은시설이 관리가 잘안되어 낙후되는 것이 안탁깝다. 사장님이 누구신지 모르겠지만 다음에 제가 숙박을 할때는 직접 관리해서 손님들이 편하게 하고 싶다. 2~3일 이면 깔끔하게 할수 있고 손님들도 솔선 수범하는 정신을 배워야 한다. 잠시 묵고 가더라도 주인의식을 가지는 손님들의 자세가 중요하고 그래야 다시 방문 할수 있게 하고 가족같이 음식들도 나눠 먹을 수 있는 Ktown 이 되기를 바라며 미동부 갔다가 8월경에 다시 방문 합니다.. 수고하시고 건강하세요..

Hidden Gem! It is absolutely amazing! Our cabin is Huge living room and two bedrooms. With total of 2 twin beds and 1 king size bed. Can sleep 5- 6 people comfortably. Just the main attractions of Yosemite are around 1 hour away from this I could say for the price and comfort it is definitely worth it. They have a lot of amenities around the area too that are worth to explore!

We had room 6 at this friendly B&B, the room looked out over some pine trees at the back of the building. There was an armchair, a table with 2 chairs, a very comfortable king size bed with side tables and sockets for charging. The room also had a toaster oven, a fridge and freezer (quiet) and a microwave and a worktop with a sink. No tea or coffee making but my wife microwaved water to make tea and I went to reception where there was always a coffee pot on the go. The bathroom had a separate sink area with room for all your bits and pieces and a bath with a shower. The shower had the best water pressure I found in our many days of travelling. It didn’t quite knock you across the bathroom but was powerful! We loved it, after lots of driving it was a relief to feel really clean. My ocd detected some interesting diy attempts but they were endearing rather than annoying! There was no a/c but it wasn’t necessary, the room has large sliding windows with bug screens and there was a nice breeze coming through the room. There is also an outside door leading done some steps to the side alley. Best not to have this open at night as there is bear activity in the area. Breakfast is in the main reception area. There are several tables as well as 2 sofas with tables. It is billed as simple but it’s really more than that. I was so pleased they had a creamy fat free yoghurt and granola which suited me perfectly. There was bread and a toaster, butter, peanut butter (of course) and a couple of hot stainless steel things with lids (I forget what they are called) with scrambled eggs and hash browns. Two filter coffee pots with proper coffee and hot water for tea. It was lovely, after spending time in 4-5 star hotels where you sit in a stuffy dining room and have to order off a menu, this was a refreshing change. For dinner we walked a very short distance to the Pizza and Tap which has a wide range of local beers on tap and good food. There is also a sports bar and grill but it was too noisy for us. There is also a row of shops which include a coffee shop. This is a place run by young people who are doing a great job. I imagine its a snowboarders heaven in the winter. There are two new buildings to the side of the building which will add capacity.

My husband and I experience the WORST stay of our lives here. What’s worse is the owners’ refusal to make anything right. Soon after we arrived and were hoping to relax next to the fire, a noxious odor began to infiltrate the cottage. We contacted the innkeeper, who came in and immediately agreed that there was a bad odor coming from the fireplace. She suggested changing to another cottage, which emitted the same noxious odor as the first cottage we were staying in. She said the fireplaces had recently been serviced. We think some harsh chemical was used to clean or service them. The innkeeper suggested that we spend our vacation time finding a cottage that didn’t have a smell, while she attended to other things. That should have been her responsibility. We ended up having leave the windows open all night along in December! We contacted the inn after our stay and they said they acknowledged that there was a foul smelling odor, but said “It's our sincere hope that our offer of a different cottage and the complementary wine will demonstrate our dedication to ensuring your future experiences with us are delightful and stress-free, in line with the visits you've had in the past.” They offered us a cheap bottle of wine to compensate for a cold, stressful, toxic night. The offer for a “different cottage” was no offer at all: we tried another cottage and it was just as foul smelling due to the fireplaces being serviced. And the innkeeper did not assist us with finding another cottage because she was too busy. This place used to be beloved to us. This experience has caused us to do further research in the Cottage Grove Inn business to see if we were not the only ones who has experienced this. We read reviews on various sites. Several guests have left negative reviews recently. Some of these complaints are very alarming, such as non-compliance with ADA rules, faulty smoke and carbon monoxide detectors that required a 911 call and a visit from the fire department, fraudulent credit card charges, poor management, customers feeling they were treated rudely by the manager, and an extreme decline in quality in the last year, charging more and offering less. It appears this business has undergone a change in ownership in the last few years, being purchased from its longtime owners. As returning and longtime customers, we (myself and my husband) feel that we have been disrespected and treated poorly. We hoped that we would be treated with more respect with an offer for a resolution due to this incident. We are reporting this Inn and its owners to the Department of Consumer Affairs and the California Department of Public Health. For your own health and well-being, we advise to stay away from Cottage Grove Inn.

We spent 4 nights here in Early Nov. and we had such a great experience! Our large 1 bdrm cabin was spacious and clean and had room to stretch out on a nice sofa with a coffee table. The kitchen is stocked with all the basics and there is even a really great sounding Bluetooth speaker. We loved the little desk area for plotting our travels in Yosemite. The welcome card has great little QR codes with links to sightseeing, local restaurants, and even a list of all the items you can find in their camp store. There were some vintage Saturday Evening Post magazines from the 60’s that were fun to flip through while sitting on our deck and enjoying a beverage from the adorable little camp store on the property. The little store has such a great curated selection of snacks and beverages and sundries and lots of little items that you might have forgotten to pack! We had beautiful weather (70’s day/40’s night) and we took advantage of the lovely hiking trails on the property and we used the complimentary bikes on the paved pathways that wind around the property beyond the clubhouse. They have several really interesting large sculptures and art pieces scattered around the grounds along the pathways to keep things interesting too! We saw so much wildlife on our excursions (even a cute little bobcat) and at night there was an amazing concert at the intimate little clubhouse music venue! The event was even catered with delicious dinner options and there is a bar with super friendly tenders keeping the party going during and after the show. Everything is really well thought out and organized and the staff are super friendly and helpful. We can’t wait to go back!

We really love the stay here. We came during off peak period at end April2024 and there were ample parking. The beach is just outside the lodge and we absolutely love the food selections that are within the vicinity. Love the serenity and comfortable 3 nights stay. Will absolutely love it to visit again during summer if I have the chance

Update: Sept 2024 Well, we stayed here again but I think next time I will try another place. I have stayed here for years. It was our go to place in Eastern Sierra. But it seems to me the family that owns it (still maybe Banta family?) is choosing to not invest in the property. The 2 queen room we had had a small TV, smaller dresser than usual, so the fridge and microwave had taken the sink countertop area. The handles on the sink and bath tub were so hard and poorly put in you had to tug super hard to turn them on. We couldn't even get the foil off the shampoos. Are they buying really cheap shampoos? The ice machine room has had water on the floor forever. They just don't fix it. If you're going to run a business, you need to invest in it. And it seems to me they have just given up. Which is too bad. Because the structure, the physical layout, the grounds, they are all nice. --------------------- I have stayed here many times. Let me list a few things so you have the right expectations. I paid $250 a night for a room with two queens. You are paying for the location. 30 minutes to Tuolumne Meadows. If you want to see Yosemite Valley (what majority of folks think of as Yosemite), this is way too far. It's a solid 2 hour drive to the valley one-way. But as close as you can be to Tuolumne. So again, don't book this if you are a newcomer to California and want to see Yosemite. You are probably thinking of the Valley. Check out is 4 pm, and they close the office from around 2:30-4 and put a note on the door ”Check in is 4 pm”. There is no one to talk to before that. They don't answer the phone. At 4 pm a line has formed at the front. Ironic that they email you afterwards saying we are like family. Poor service on their part. The employees are instructed by the owners/managers to do this. Check out is 10 am; earlier than most other hotels. Room tidying-up only if you stay more than 3 nights (note that you've paid $250 a night but no service). Back to my note you are paying for the location. Their bedding is low quality; they could use higher quality blankets. But why I keep staying here: Location. I want to get an early start on my hikes and don't want a long drive, (the next best option is June lake, 15 more minutes south), lovely landscaped grounds with flowers with plenty of seating, all kept clean, good size rooms, clean, AC works (although loud). easy parking. Also I would only stay in the main lodge. The rooms they call cabins, etc. are trailers, and look out on other trailers, and seem dark and not that nice. They have some behind the main lodge and some across the street. Lastly, don't expect Lake Views from most rooms ( a few have it). But it is a view of the open vistas of the Eastern Sierra, a truly beautiful view.

韓国人が経営しているホステルです。ホステルの方も宿泊者も優しくて、仲良くなることが出来ました。ホステルで一緒に泊まった仲間とお酒を飲みながらいろいろ話したりできて、いい思い出です。近くの治安はLAの中では良い方だと思います。
