I stayed one night at the May fourth hostel. The staff was very friendly and spoke English. Location: After the staff, the location was the best aspect of this hostel. It is location close to a big shopping mall and also relatively close to the Mingtang Paradise Scenic Area. Room: Small and modern. The placement of the light switches, aircon control and hangers was convenient. The room got a little bit stuffy, but this is normal with these small hostel boxes. Cleanliness: The room was clean when I arrived and the bedding was put on. For hostel standards, the shower + toilet area were clean and got cleaned regularly. Quietness: Room was quiet. I did not hear noise from the hallway / other rooms. All in all, I highly recommend staying at the may fourth hostel.

Great hostel that provided a great base to explore Kaifeng. It’s nice and central to the Drum Tower market. There are nice public spaces. The dorm bed was very wide and very comfortable. The staff in particular were super. They were friendly and so helpful. They even allowed me to check in much earlier than I was meant to according to their rules - how kind of them. When I left one of them gave me a souvenir of some Kaifeng chrysanthemum tea to take with me. What lovely staff!

Everything you need they have. Room to work and relax, games, music instruments, comfortable sofa etc. Bedroom comfortable and big enough. Bed clean, big and perfect to sleep. Little bit hard to find and English speaker is missing but still perfect for a traveler.

衞生非常乾淨 主動提供各種洗漱用品（一次性牙具 浴巾 消毒後拖鞋 旅行裝洗面奶 內衣洗衣液等） 床鋪乾淨整潔 床墊舒適 房間空間寬敞 每個房間有浴室 衞生間備有馬桶墊替換 房間內櫃子也有房卡識別鎖很安全 公共區域環境乾淨整潔 燈光明亮 常備熱水 紅棗薑茶 微波爐等 因為行程緊張 並沒有及時辦理入住 小姐姐會提前電話聯繫 加上微信 發來入住視頻 以及各種注意事項 服務非常周到

1⃣️衞生：挺乾淨的 洗手枱 廁所這些比較重要的設施還是保持的不錯的 地這邊也是看小姐姐每天下午會拖 衞生這一塊真沒話説 2⃣️設施：設施這一塊覺得還是很完善的 男女生廁所洗漱是分開獨立的 這一點很加分 前台也有熱水 涼白開 可供選擇而且最讓我感到驚訝的是 還有一個露台 真的很舒服 相比於之前住的大部分情侶來説 這樣真的很有呼吸感 不再是封閉的空間 而且露台也超級漂亮 看書超級舒服 3⃣️環境：環境很温馨 一進來就被驚艷到 越走感覺真的是來對了 從佈置的各個細節就能看出來 老闆的用心程度 有一些裝飾花我第一眼以後是假花來着 沒想到居然是真的 拍照很出片哦 4⃣️服務：服務很周到 很熱情 前台的義工妹妹十一 特別熱情 親和 進門就給我倒熱水 真的有被暖心到 帶我們參觀小院 講解注意事項 遇到問題也是第一時間來解決 而且前台還有調酒服務 喝了最經典的梅子酒 真的是有被驚艷到 安利安利 而且還蹭到了新認識的朋友的轟炸機 P1真的超級酷 ⚠️總的來説 這家青旅是意外發現到的 但感覺也是緣分讓我們相遇 獨自旅行了很久 一直以來都是想尋求這樣的一方天地 熱鬧的時候大家可以坐在前台一起聊天 分享自己的經歷 認識一些新的朋友們 一起玩遊戲拼飯 安靜的時候 可以尋找一個舒服的地方自己一個人呆著 這家青旅 真的很温暖 不是冰冷的 不近人情的 在這裏真的是身心愉悦 以後一定會再來的

在這裏連住了7晚上 四人間非常大非常寬敞 前台非常熱情 而且離着清明上河園特別近 走路幾分鐘就到了 城牆也很近 萬歲山的話也挺近的 非常適合在開封出遊的時候住 男生是獨棟的 另外兩棟是女生 上面有露天陽台可以社交聊天

One of the best hostels I’ve stayed at in China. The facilities are good and clean, and the location is pretty good. The host is super friendly, and does an excellent job at creating a welcoming environment for all guests. He’s clearly very passionate about making it a good place to stay for travelers. It’s very social and easy to make friends, even as a foreigner. Definitely a proper hostel.

很多都很好 環境乾淨衞生 每天阿姨打掃很OK 淋浴間沐浴露洗髮水洗手液香薰都是華住的標準 公區也很大玩的很多 就是同房間a床有個死宅男 晚上不睡 白天不醒 在房間裏吃東西 米雪的外賣每天塞滿垃圾桶一股味道 每天守着空調開十幾度 這是給屍體保温呢 問他就説體熱 你穿着衣服蓋個厚被還怕熱 真怪胎 睡兩天有點傷風了

Location is wonderful, close to everything but als slightly o away from center so you do not get the noises. In just a few steps you get to have fantastic foods at night market. The place is nice and cozy, also quiet at night. Host is helpful, friendly and definitely extrovert, they organize games and activities regularly to connect everyone together. Definitely will stay here again if chances come by.
