I have to say it's the best Youth Hostel I have ever stayed in Barcelona. The location is near the guell park, compared to the other popular location, it's not noisy and really quiet at night. Everything is clean, you can a nice aroma everywhere once you enter into the hostel. They provided the locker and the key, so it's also safety. I would definitely choose it for the next time's travel in Barcelona.

Oh my goodness! For just 20 euros per night, this hostel is an absolute gem. Even the 12-person room is surprisingly quiet and comfortable. The location is fantastic, and my XL suitcase fit perfectly in the storage space. The staff is incredibly helpful, and the kitchen is spotless, with all the necessary dishes ready for use. The only minor issue is that all the amenities, including shampoo and soap, had a distinct, unpleasant cucumber scent.

Overall, a good stay with a Few Minor Issues I stayed at Safestay Barcelona Gothic from June 17–18, 2025, in a 12-bed mixed dorm. The experience was mostly positive. ✅ Pros: The location is excellent — just a 5-minute walk from the metro, which made it easy to get around. If you have an early flight (like mine at 08:30), this is a good place to stay as you can easily reach the airport in time. The dorm, bathrooms, and common areas were all neat and clean. Wi-Fi worked well throughout my stay. The staff was friendly and spoke good English. Definitely value for money. ⚠️ Cons: The check-in time listed in my confirmation email was 14:00, but they didn’t allow check-in until 15:00. This was a bit inconvenient. Breakfast was not included in the booking. Overall, it’s a decent and budget-friendly option in a central area, especially for solo or budget travellers. I would recommend it for short stays.

Okay hostel in a reasonable location, about 35 minutes from the airport (depending on the bus schedule). Unfortunately it was very noisy since the other guests weren't typical hostellers. There are also some people using this accommodation as their home.

The hostel was very good and neat & clean. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, especially the night team. Lockers were free, and the room door was operated using a key card

The place is great. Walking distance to Casa Batlló. Just 20 minutes. Very close. Inside the room is clean. Big window. Everything is great inside hotel. BUT I was sitting outside the hotel to have an interview with an American company at 2am. Two persons robbed me and went away by motorcycle. I reported to police at 4am. Fortunately the police helped me to find everything including the passport and 8 credit cards. Only three cards and less than 150 euros are lost. But, still the city centre is not so safe as it looks. Be careful!

お部屋が少し狭く、2人以上だと窮屈に感じましたが、その他の点ではとても充実していて、特にスタッフの方の対応がとても感じが良く素晴らしかったです。

Auch 2 Stunden nach dem Ende des publizierten check-ins wurde ich noch herzlich empfangen und bis ans Bett begleitet. Man hatte auch Verständnis für die Lästigkeit der obligatorischen administrativen Registration und suchte eine freundliche Konversation zu entfachen. Ansonsten alles Komfortabel und unaufdringlich, gegen das Geräusch der kraftvollen Ventilatoren im Schlafraum werden kostenfreie Ohrstöpsel verabreicht. Küche zur Verfügung, mediterranes Frühstück complimentary. Nettes township rundum, Erreichbarkeit des Airports optimal.

Thank you Lucy, Jack, and Emma for taking good care of me. This was one of the best hostels I’ve ever experienced. As soon as I arrived I was greeted and invited to play beach volleyball. At night we played drinking games and had a welcome party. Then we enjoyed a pub crawl where we enjoyed VIP entrance to a couple of clubs. I would definitely stay here again. I met so many people. I had the best time. The bathrooms were sooo clean. They even cooked dinner for us for free!!! The only negative is that rooms and bathrooms were a bit small.
