A lovely place. Great place to stay - stayed in one of the large rooms with en-suite. Comfy bed, kettle, tea coffee biscuits and just a lovely room. Only had breakfast as we had a packed weekend but that was great. Great for a 'get away and relax' weekend - might try that next time! Also can't forget the amazing Captain - the parrot who happily greeted you with a hello and goodbye when entering. Have to say would be good for families too.

Great location for the south-west coast path. Room comfortable but the quality of the service, food and drink was outstanding. Breakfast menu and dinner in particular had a broad range of locally sourced foods that were cooked and prepared beyond our expectation. Wine and beer choices were equally as impressive. We've travelled quite a bit in North Devon and this is a gem of a place.

Lovely quiet location, room was clean and comfortable with a lovely hot spacious shower. The breakfasts were delicious and cooked to order which you could pick from a varied menu, there was also fresh juice, cereals, yogurt and fruits you could have along side a hot breakfast. All the staff were friendly, kind and polite. It was a joy to stay here and we will be returning

We stayed here to visit nearby beaches. There is a path right behind the property that is perfect for a morning walk, and we really enjoyed the wonderful views. The staff were friendly and helpful. Note that the shampoo and shower gel come in the same bottle, and there is no conditioner, so I recommend bringing your own if that matters to you.

Everything was lovely and clean and the bedroom smashing. Not noisy at all even though it was close to the road. The vibe in the evenings was lovely, friendly locals and staff. It was well located for Exeter University, to visit our grand daughter, plus drive into the city centre. Silverton very easy to find. We hope to use again.

We enjoyed a wonderful stay at the Rock Inn. Surrounded by the beautiful scenery in Dartmoor, this quaint inn is full of charm and warmth. The staff were welcoming, very attentive and friendly. After a delicious dinner, we slept in a cozy bed and woke to the sounds of nature in the morning. A highly recommended experience.

Great establishment and worthy of its awards. Stayed for 3 nights and were impressed with the service, decor, location and breakfast/dinner. Will return when next in the area and have already recommended to family, friends and colleagues.

i can not fault this hotel we arrived early and was able to get into are room the staff were very helpfull the food was lovely a little expensive but well worth it the place was very clean i cant wait to go back

Just an overnight stay but such a friendly welcome! Despite the freezing temperatures outside, our room was warm and cosy. Wonderful breakfast cooked to order - will definitely return.

Small room and bed. Toilet seat slid around and the whole pan rocked from side to side- loose screws. Roll holder fell off. Breakfast not served until 10:00. Clean and functional bedroom.
