I only had an overnight stay at this little guest house but I would have lived to stay longer. The hotel itself is very centrally placed, the railway station and all attractions are within easy walking distance. On arrival I received a friendly welcome and was helped with my case to my room. Nothing was too much much trouble. My room was very clean and extremely well equipped. I highly recommend this lovely little guest house. I would certainly use again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone.

Great location for the south-west coast path. Room comfortable but the quality of the service, food and drink was outstanding. Breakfast menu and dinner in particular had a broad range of locally sourced foods that were cooked and prepared beyond our expectation. Wine and beer choices were equally as impressive. We've travelled quite a bit in North Devon and this is a gem of a place.

Lovely quiet location, room was clean and comfortable with a lovely hot spacious shower. The breakfasts were delicious and cooked to order which you could pick from a varied menu, there was also fresh juice, cereals, yogurt and fruits you could have along side a hot breakfast. All the staff were friendly, kind and polite. It was a joy to stay here and we will be returning

We stayed here to visit nearby beaches. There is a path right behind the property that is perfect for a morning walk, and we really enjoyed the wonderful views. The staff were friendly and helpful. Note that the shampoo and shower gel come in the same bottle, and there is no conditioner, so I recommend bringing your own if that matters to you.

We enjoyed a wonderful stay at the Rock Inn. Surrounded by the beautiful scenery in Dartmoor, this quaint inn is full of charm and warmth. The staff were welcoming, very attentive and friendly. After a delicious dinner, we slept in a cozy bed and woke to the sounds of nature in the morning. A highly recommended experience.

Great establishment and worthy of its awards. Stayed for 3 nights and were impressed with the service, decor, location and breakfast/dinner. Will return when next in the area and have already recommended to family, friends and colleagues.

i can not fault this hotel we arrived early and was able to get into are room the staff were very helpfull the food was lovely a little expensive but well worth it the place was very clean i cant wait to go back

Just an overnight stay but such a friendly welcome! Despite the freezing temperatures outside, our room was warm and cosy. Wonderful breakfast cooked to order - will definitely return.

Small room and bed. Toilet seat slid around and the whole pan rocked from side to side- loose screws. Roll holder fell off. Breakfast not served until 10:00. Clean and functional bedroom.

Really friendly staff very welcoming I got an upgrade on my room the beer was cheap could of got breakfast for £10 but thought I'd be going to early it was served from 8.30pm
