My husband and I can not praise this hotel and staff enough! From the moment with checked in with Fransico we knew we were in good hands. Our delux sea view room was wonderful, clean, comfy linens and fabulous views! The first nite when we returned to our room a pretty glass dome covered dish holding cookies was left on the table. Salvo served us our coffee and pastry in the morning down stairs graciously. He was a delight as well as Geovanni at the Lido across the street. He was always willing to ensure we had what we needed when we lounged under the umbrellas with big towels that he had set out early for the guest. We also noticed that staff cleaned not only our rooms very well but the entire property was cleaned every morning. This was especially noted after we had spent a couple of days in AciTrezza and could not help but notice that not all property owners take pride in keeping properties clean. Additionally, everything we ate or drank in the restaurants was excellent and presented nicely.

I had a comfortable and great morning animation with LUX! Morning yoga was definitely my favorite part, and I loved starting the day with it. The energizing routine helped me feel refreshed, grounded, and fully prepared to tackle any challenges that came my way. It set a positive tone for the rest of the day, leaving me motivated and ready to embrace everything ahead with confidence and enthusiasm. Starting the morning like this is truly transformative, making each day feel more balanced and productive. Highly recommend incorporating such a routine into your daily life!

The hotel is right on the water and boasts incredible views - well we obviously had the worse room in the hotel - the view was of an alley and someone's kitchen across the alley. Unfortunately it was all they had - even though we had booked 3 months in advance. Other reviews said there was a pool, we were disappointed that there was no pool but found the lido to be even better so no loss on that one. The Terrace lounge is phenomenal so make sure to enjoy cocktails and dinner. We made up for the lack of view in our room by enjoying the view from the Terrace. Location is great; easy walking to lots of other restaurants. I made the walk to the castle though it was a bit far but doable for this senior citizen. Staff is helpful and made all our taxi arrangements for us. They didn't tell us their was an included breakfast buffet in the restaurant next door so we missed it the first day - but it was great.

Located on the coast of the Ionian Sea, Aci Trezza has a long history of maritime activity. Aci Trezza is a popular spot for Italian vacationers who come to view the rocks rising out of the Ionian Sea. We were ensconced in the Grand Hotel Faraglioni with a perfect view of the pool and rock stacks (faraglioli) from our room. It's always time to enjoy an Aperol Spritz on the deck by the pool or the patio area by the front entrance. The service was impeccable.

large room, plenty of space where we didn't feel cramped. large bath which was great. nice sheets and towels. a pleasant location right on the ocean. a bit noisy but not bad. friendly front desk. make sure you see all the sites you can -- Mt. Etna.

This is very average! We booked this hotel for a week and we realised afterwards that there was no pool despite one being shown in the photos. However, with a private beach and being by the sea this was not an issue we thought. On arrival we realised the private beach was not yet up so this was not an option when we wanted to go swimming or spend time chilling comfortably by the sea. Sadly, it was impossible to get in the water by the hotel with no safe access across slippery rocks. Luckily we had a car so we ventured out every day visiting beautiful places and came across wonderful beaches. We would return in the evening which not quite the plan as we would have liked some down time by the sea before dinner but it was fantastic to see the island! The room we had was a superior room with a balcony - I had imagined we would sit and enjoy a drink from the mini bar overlooking the sea. The view was indeed amazing if you didn’t look down into the restaurant next door, but the balcony is tiny with standing room only for 2 people. The room had one desk chair so I guess we could have taken turns on that one as it would just about have fitted but again, not quite how we’d imagined it. As mentioned, our room was overlooking the next door bar/restaurant which is busy and they enjoy playing constant music throughout the day and late into the night. We had to call one night to ask how long this would go on for as we struggled to sleep around 1 am and to be fair, the music did go off shortly after. The room was made up nicely daily but it wasn’t cleaned. We had long dark hairs in the bathroom during the entire stay, and as I’m blonde and my husband balled they were not ours. The doors were dirty and could do with a clean which makes me believe this would probably go for other areas too. However, they did give us fresh towels every day, despite us hanging them to be used again. We could have complained but as I’d already called for the music, I didn’t and we just decided to spend as little time as possible in the room and kept our shoes on. The terrace bar is lovely when it’s open, great views and super kind staff but not really somewhere you can just sit and read a book without buying drinks. The cocktails are tasty and the food they serve with them plentiful. There is no sunset view as the sun disappears behind the hills, which is no issue but as they state there’s a sunset view, I thought I’d just clarify! We ate twice in the cafe so we could sit outside by the road which was lovely for a salad but don’t bother with a pizza! We didn’t try the restaurant as it was soulless and you had to sit inside which was not tempting. Besides, it was empty. Luckily the village is full of fantastic restaurants and only a stroll away along the seafront! The breakfast is served in a 4 star Michelin restaurant next door but don’t let that fool you! You can ask the hotel to arrange taxis. We were given a kettle when requesting before arrival which was great. Wow what an amazing setting, a beautiful smallish hotel, where the staff work incredibly hard. We were there for our 37year wedding anniversary and it was a lovely holiday. It's a nice fishing village. It can get very busy too but was also quite somedays. The breakfast next door was great.A wonderful morning sea view and people watching. The upstairs verander was opening up on the day we left. I think we would return as we liked it so much there. Once again a big thank you to all the staff especially the ladies on reception desk and the waitress and waitor.

After waiting 45 minutes at Mythos cafe which is next to the location of Faraglioni Hotel and where we did not get a chance even to taste our drinks in this time, it took also 45 minutes on the terrace of the hotel Faraglioni to order, drink and eat. Great service, very attentive staff. Thank you!🙏🏻 You saved our day!😁

One of t he most welcoming hotels we have stayed in - visited for a family christening - staff were amazing - fantastic room with an out of this world sea view - coffee and pastries on gone Mormon and wine and savouries in tbe evening were exceptional l- so friendly stayed for 4 days and felt like home - couldn’t recomend highly enough a4***** doesn’t do it justice - can’t wait to come back - stay here in a sea view room - you won’t be disappointed
