Perfect room, clean hotel was not let into the restaurant because of age the restaurant manager, didn’t let us eat in the restaurant. We had to order room service instead, and there was tables in the restaurant the spa was okay, but the spa staff were making dirty looks on us and reception tried to charge us extra fees!

The hotel and setting are beautiful very comfortable. The food was very disappointing. Very expensive and poor quality.

We enjoyed a day in the spa, how ever chemicals in the water turned my hilighted hair green, and stripped it of all the good condition my hair was in leaving it not only green but dry and brittle. When brought to there attention I was advised it was copper build up from my shower. So it was my fault? We had been in a spa in kilarney now 2 weeks before this visit and this didn't happen. They had however taken a water sample while we were in the jazzuzi, and not 30min later the water was extremely foamy as if chemicals or some sort of agent had been added. They asked if my hair was like that when I came!!!? They then washed it in the salon and gave me a "mask" it's still tinged with green dispite having washed it several times with the products provided. I followed up with an email and they have offered to shampoo it again for me as a way to fix it. Not Impressed at all. No customer service and lack of empathy. And no sense of ownership to the issue.

We were married at the Woodlands House hotel in February 2025 and the hotel staff and owners were simply excellent. We had a civil ceremony at the hotel followed by the reception and everything ran really smoothly. The manager David Fitzgerald is hands on with running all aspects during the day and nothing is over looked. So many of our wedding guests commented on the great food and service for dinner and also the gin/vodka bar at the reception which we would recommend. The hotel have so many options in terms of wedding decor and set up it really takes away the stress of organizing as they have already got a solution before a question is asked. All in all a brilliant wedding venue and I would highly recommend to check it out.

To all the amazing staff, upon arrival on Thurs 20th Feb.   Our first impressions were wowed by the drive entrance, the cleanliness of the exterior the pet farm, the beautiful spring flowers in the bedding at the entrance...  the reception area.. what a wow.... the lovely Maria couldn't be any nicer..our room was ready before we expected. After a 2 hr drive it was by chance our room was ready.  With a 2 and 6 Yr old, it was lovely to drop our bags off and find our feet within this beautiful hotel.  Our room was just fab. Idea location on ground floor beside pool and near reception . The amazing staff we met on our 2 night stay was one good enough reason we'll be back again . The tree house chalets sold it for us. It was the main highlight. It was like a village in itself.  To have the option to get a private chalet, get food served to u. A gorgeous pellet stove throwing out roaring heat  two very busy boys it was perfect location for us to let loose and the lads loved their space and freedom.  We could play cards, and they were so content with the freedom much more than seated in a restaurant.  The food was 100%, the breakfast was fab, and the choice was endless.  The homemade scones were so light and fluffy. I'm gonna miss them tomorrow morning!  I would highlight recommend this hotel to anyone couples or family events.  In fact it was our best ever family stay anywhere in the country.  The pool so clean the waterfall was unique the lads loved it. If I had to say one thing about this.. is the soft play area it's too small. But the boys still loved it. We will definitely be back. We got married here in January, David and his team made the whole experience very easy. From the 1st meeting with David he put us at such ease, he puts so much effort and taught into the day. They have amazing decorations also. The table plan selection are beautiful also. We felt no stress on the day at all thanks to the amazing staff. They make your day feel so special and everything is timed to perfection 👌 Food is beautiful and they keep going around making sure every has enough. We went down to ye on the Sunday after the wedding to bring our boys to the playground and little farm which they loved. We had some job to get then to come home 🤣 Our guests were all raving about how friendly the staff was and the beautiful rooms. They really made it a day to remember x our wedding in the Woodlands is the best decision we made

Myself and my family stayed here for three nights and we will be back the hotel is spotless clean staff are very friendly and would do anything to help food was amazing and the activities for kids was great I would highly recommend you visit you won't be disappointed

We got married on 13th December and we had our reception in the Woodlands. Everything was amazing and we wouldn’t have changed a thing. David guided us throughout the whole wedding process. He was so easy to communicate with and no question we asked was a bother to him. He is so knowledgeable and his attention to detail is top class. He guides you through the whole process with such ease and takes any stress away from you. The decor available was stunning. We didn’t need to add anything outside of what was available in the hotel. There were so many options available meaning you could really make the day unique to you. The food was amazing and all of our guest couldn’t complement it enough. Everyone with dietary restrictions were catered for extremely well without any worry on us. The staff went around with extra portions if anyone wanted more. The staff were extremely friendly, helpful and accommodating. A special mention to Monica who was so attentive and kind to us at the top table. Our overall experience was absolutely amazing and we couldn’t have imagined any more for our wedding day, nothing was too much to ask and everyone went above and beyond. Áine and Mark

My husband and I got married at The Woodlands Hotel on Friday the 7th of February. From start to finish it was amazing. Nothing was a bother and we enjoyed our day thoroughly from the minute we arrived to when we checked out. All of our guests commented on how amazing the food was and what an outstanding hotel the Woodlands is overall. We would highly recommended the Woodlands for any occasion.

I had my wedding at the Woodland House Hotel in January, from start to finish every detail was perfect. Elaina, David and team went above and beyond. An exceptional wedding venue. The food, service and staff are 5 star. I cannot recommend the hotel highly enough.

We had our wedding at the woodlands in January 2025 and we have been saying ever since how great everything at the woodlands was from the food to the service to sorting out all the mishaps of forgotten reading glasses on the day! 😂 Everything was made so easy for us and the team carried out everything with such attention to detail ensuring all was perfect always! We honestly are so happy we choose the woodlands as our venue as we know we would not get that level of service anywhere else! all we can say is the woodlands are amazing at what they do and thanks again so much even though thanks doesn’t do it enough justice! nothing was of any issue to any of the team and everyone was so lovely and kind to us!

Amazing experience for the 3 of us (mother with her 2 daughters). The staff were so welcoming. Rooms were very comfortable. Bedding was fabulous. Housekeeping were very tentative. Any ask was no issue. The food was stunning and produce was sourced from their organic farm or local suppliers Breakfast was so fresh, choice from buffet and fresh from the menu. Dinner in the Bistro was fabulous and as a vegetarian they had so many options. Nicest lemon posset in years! The Treehouse set up was stunning with additional food options, the petting farm and fairy trail along with many more kid amenities makes it a great family location. The leisure facilities were great, spent were day in their! The Reva’s Spa was incredible, totally our vibe and the attention to detail was noticed. Looking forward to a return journey soon

Booked a triple, and got an upgrade to the Bridal Suite. Absolutely lovely. Really enjoyed our stay. Only problem which was outside their control - due to weather conditions the outdoor area to the Spa was closed & one of our Spa treatments were cancelled but we enjoyed the Thermal Suite & cocktails. Thank you for making our girls night away special. We will be back.
