We stayed at Elounda Breeze in late June for a week. It was honestly one of the best holidays I've been on in a long while. Rooms We were in a spacious room on the first floor of the main building above the bar. The beds were comfy, although it wasn't a double bed but instead two singles pushed together. A bit annoying, but not deal breaking. The rooms were cleaned every day with fresh towels if you needed them. The rooms also came with beach towels if you don't have your own. Pools There are a number of pools, but the best one is easily the Quiet Pool. If you're looking to read and splash about, it's probably the best as you're not distracted by music or activities. There's a great poolside bar with a ton of inclusive drinks, including around 7 mocktails and 10 cocktails (all free). We also asked to mix drinks up (we recommend the Melon Schnapps with Pineapple juice), and that was fine. We didn't have any trouble getting a lounger, but people definitely leave their towels all day to claim them. It's honestly better to join them than fight back, so settle down on your favourite one and enjoy it. Food The food was absolutely fantastic. Firstly, there is so much choice in the buffet. Breakfast was the same every day, but there were three rows of hot food, plus pancakes, waffles, pastries, yogurt, cereal, fruit, porridge, and more. Lunch was different every day, with pizza, salad, pasta, and an assortment of hot food. It's hard to list it all, but we had nice stews, pasta bakes, rice dishes and more. Tea was different every day too, and like lunch, incredible. So many nice meals and variety. There were themed nights, which were good, but the regular nights were easily the best. Plenty of desserts too, from Baklava to cream cakes and even ice cream. There was a chocolate fountain twice which was amazing. There are two restaurants you can book. You get to go to them for free one night each. Honestly, we didn't bother. I'm sure they're lovely, but the buffet was just too amazing to pass up. It's worth noting that there is so much vegetarian food on offer, and plenty for vegans too. However, while the labels do tell you what the food is, they don't always make it clear whether it's vegetarian. We used our common sense, and avoided anything we weren't 100% sure about. Also, we read reviews that said the hot food was cold. This just isn't true. All the hot food was kept hot. Staff The staff are very very friendly and very very helpful. All absolutely lovely, from the TUI specific staff to the hotel staff. They worked tirelessly to make sure everyone is having a good time. One TUI member played with another family's kid for about 30 minutes straight, which was very sweet. Our only issue was that at lunch and dinner there was often no cutlery on tables. There's so many people coming in and out and the staff are definitely doing there best to change every table as quickly as possible. However, if they notice you're missing cutlery or y
