The room and facilities were clean and nice. Although the parking was a bit far, the shuttle service made it a non-issue. The front desk staff's explanation was thorough and good, but there was no information given about the private baths. Perhaps they weren't included in my booking? The public bath was also clean and pleasant, but the hot spring water felt a bit lukewarm, which was a little disappointing. We had to wait about 30 minutes for dinner even though we arrived at our reserved time. The food itself was a bit underwhelming; maybe I had set my expectations too high. Breakfast also involved a short wait, and the selection wasn't anything special either.

This Japanese-style onsen accommodation right by the water offers a great atmosphere, perfect for a relaxing getaway. Check-in was easy, and the dinner was delicious. It truly gives you the full Japanese experience, making it ideal for relaxation. It's also conveniently located with parking available.

It is a very nice hotel. The staff is super helpful and friendly, the service is great, there are a lot of amenities and the views are amazing. It is a traditional Japanese ryokan, but with a fancy side.

the room of this hotel is very big and clean for onsen hote.. the only thing not so good is the dinner which is quite normal and pricy

The heating in the room was excellent in winter, though it was a bit dry.

The reception staff can be more friendly or smiler . Otherwise all good.

Thank you for a wonderful stay. The hot spring in the large communal bath was very relaxing, and the hotel also had a variety of facilities, including a foot bath, which I thoroughly enjoyed. Some reviews have left negative comments about the service, but the staff were all very warm and welcoming. The breakfast was delicious, and they even provided a welcome drink and yokan (sweet bean paste). I'm truly glad I stayed here. Since the bus doesn't come close, you can call the Aizu Samurai Residence and they will come to pick you up from the bus stop. One thing to note is that when the housekeeping staff laid out our futons, the man in charge knelt down at the end, even though he hadn't done anything wrong. I felt bad for him, and I don't think he needed to knelt down. Thank you. I would definitely stay at this inn again!!!

The food was delicious, but when I stayed there the rooms were all full and there were not many places to wash in the large public bath, so I had to wait a while for one to become available.

I stayed in room 601, which was very old and shabby. One of the windows didn't even have a curtain. The view from the private hot spring on the 7th floor wasn't as good as the public one. The best thing about the hotel was probably the exterior, which was lit up at night.

Aside from the appearance, the facilities are inadequate.

Great texture, good service, convenient location, excellent hot spring facilities. Highly recommended. If you come here to stay for Aizu travel, I believe you will have an excellent travel experience. Highly recommended

The price/performance ratio of hot spring hotels is the highest at present. Free shuttle bus pick-up, free yukatas of dozens of colors for girls, breakfast and dinner included, dinner is local specialty cuisine (set meal), free freshly ground coffee, free matcha, free barley tea, free ice cream, free beer, free light show, beautiful scenery, usually soaking in the hot spring while enjoying the gurgling water in the mountains, suddenly feel that life is worth it
