Quinta Pedra Dos Bicos

We travelled as a group for a hen party. There were 6 of us who were all family in the 1 apar**ent which was fine.When we arrived we each paid €250 as a deposit ( a total of €1500 for the apar**ent) which was removed from our cards immediately and told it would be returned after room inspection and checking out. So 9 days later we are billed for 5 towels costing €105 for having makeup on them. They sent us an email including photos which were taking before the towels were even washed and you can barely see anything on them. A simple wash which they should be doing anyway! This would totally put me off staying here again. Especially as we left the apar**ent exactly how we got it!

Wouldnt go back to this hotel, we left the rooms spotless and they charged us €135 for towels that had a bit make up on. Absolutley shocking to charge for something that is so easily cleaned. Avoid if you dont want to be ripped off. Also staff are not helpful at all and had us waiting around at check in. No organisation what so ever

Awful from the start ! Lady at reception very rude and uncooperative . Apar**ent were very dated and damaged. When u are expected to pay a 250 euro pp deposit you expect to be staying somewhere that is of value .. definitely not the case .. bathroom door busted in so it would not close ,burns on kitchen table, cracked tiles (which one of us cut our toe on) beds as hard a a brick ..poor quality pillows . The safe was not working correctly at first so we had to stick the back of it on with sticking plaster which the other young girl at reception told us oh good idea ..towels are not changed every day only every 3/4 days. And if you want clean ones u have to pay ..so u can imagine the dirt of 3 day old towels when then they email us 6 days after we leave to say towels are danaged yet the pics show they clearly haven't been washed yet..so they were looking 65 euros for 4 towels that were clearly already years old .i Will never be back and neither will the rest of our group .. shocking how they get away with this behaviour ..

We arrived at a lovely hotel, beautiful reception with water and snacks, unfortunately these were not for us and we were ushered to the back of the building where there was a seperate reception for apar**ent guests. One of the group desperately needed a drink and asked for one in the reception and was told no! Check in took 30 minutes and a deposit taken of €250 per guest because we were part of a hen party, despite everyone being 40+. Deposit paid and we got into our apar**ent, it was clean, but shabby! There were burn marks on furniture, broken tiles in the kitchen and the bathroom door was broken. We took photos and reported all damage to reception as we were sceptical about the €1000 being refunded. The bathroom door remained broken throughout our stay which is less than ideal as we had no privacy. The pool area requires a wrist band to gain access and is very nice and well maintained. staff at the spent most of the time giving off to a stag party that were seated near us and then threatened to get us removed even though we had nothing to do with the stag party. My deposit was refunded a few days after we left, and then one week later they asked for payment for towels that we had damaged. The towels were not damaged and were merely dirty as they weren’t changed throughout our stay despite asking the cleaner for new towels. They are also charging us for a broken plastic patio chair which is in a garden area accessible by the public. The apar**ents are on the street and there could be noise from other groups, especially when people forgot access codes for the buildings. The beach is nearby but there are a lot of steps down. Supermarket and shops nearby and ***** about 15 min walk away. Apar**ent had washing machine and dishwasher, and would be an ideal base for a Self catering holiday. Decor advertised is nothing like what you get and as said already part of our apar**ent was very shabby - in particular the living area. We loved Albufeira, but this experience has sullied a fabulous trip. Defo would not recommend these apar**ents especially if you mention hen or stag party.

Stayed in the apar**ents and they were nice, spacious and a nice view from the balcony. My main thing is if you are young and here with friends they will not treat you nicely or fairly even if you’re ‘well behaved’. Same with stag and hens. The deposit thing is actually absurd. So I went with 2 other friends and we were charged 100 each. Stag and hen dos have to pay 250€ each and I heard many people didn’t get it back. They’ll charge large groups of men more than women. I spoke to one man who paid 250 and one women who paid 30 when they where in the same sized group and the same age. Also I’d bring cash for the deposit to allow I to get ur money back straight away. There was only one staff member who was nice to us. They tried to tell us we where making loud noises and moving furniture around meaning we’d loose our deposit but the time they stated we did that we weren’t even in the building we were out for dinner and could proove that! Other than that though, if you’re a family or an older person I’d reccomend it. Albefruia in its self is so gorgeous. The beach is unreal, there is a massive ***** if u do like to party, but also lots of nice restaurants and beach clubs if you’re looking to relax more. Pool area is also really nice !!

DO NOT STAY HERE! Went with a group of friends, apar**ents were poor quality, damaged shelves in the fridge etc. refused to give us deposit back because there was a mark on a towel which was probably already there before we got there, they will do anything not to give you your €250 deposit back, stay away!

Do not go here if you wear fake tan or makeup! We went on a hen party and were charged for towels that had tan or makeup on them. The hotel sent us pics of the towels before they even washed them and they weren’t even that bad only mild marks that would easily wash off. This would put me off going back to this hotel without a doubt.

Lovely clean spacious 2 bedroom apar**ent close to all amenities and beach only down side was the beds very uncomfortable and one of the bedrooms had no mirror. Also we were on an early flight and when we arrived we couldn't go in the apar**ent until after 4pm .

Large apar**ent complex quite near the bottom of the *****. We were a party of 18 there for a hen do. The four oldest in the party (early 60’s) were put in an apar**ent up one flight of stairs with no lift and no staff to help us up stairs. The apar**ent was clean but so small compared to the rooms the other members our party they were in. The sitting room/dining room was very small and dingy and needed the light on whatever time of day you sat in it. The staff in reception were not the most accommodating. Very patronising when asking any questions. Defo not top of my list if I return to Albufeira 😟
