Es un hotel muy familiar y tranquilo, mucho turismo inglés, no hay animaciones ni nada para jóvenes, no lo recomiendo para la juventud, en tema de comida muy poca variedad, y comidas repetidas,también he de decir que hay mucha limpieza, pero eso sí tener cuidado donde reserváis porque yo reseerve por aquí el todo incluido y resulta que si no reservas por la página oficial del hotel no te entran todas las bebidas no se porque… la verdad que para ser un 5 estrellas deja mucho que deseear!

This is the thrid time we have stayed at this hotel and as usual it did not disappoint. The rooms were spacious and clean, the food was good and plentiful, no problems getting a sunbed (even though there were 12 of us) and it is in a great location, within walking distance of the marina and two lovely beaches. our holiday. I cannot praise Ivo and Taran at the poolside bar enough, they always had a smile on their faces and made us some amazing cocktails; Richard in the restaurant always had a friendly greeting (he even remembered us from our last visit 3 years ago); also Mariana on reception and Caterina and the bar staff at the main bar. We were disappointed that there is no longer a BBQ at lunchtime. I was also surprised that a hotel of this standard did not provide a curtsey room for showering for guests who have a late departure as the spa is being refurbished.

Very good location, amazing view and an excellent service and friendly ambience. Rooms are good and food excellent. A quite good breakfast with lot of tastes and flavours. dishes well balanced to give us an experience of regional traditional Heritage.

Food very poor, not enough choice, only had one evening meal in the hotel throughout our 4 night stay. Beer served in half pint glasses, went flat after about 2 minutes. Room ok, although shower cubicle in 2nd shower room didn't close correctly. Absolutely nowhere near a five star hotel, stayed in NAU Salgados a couple of years back and that hotel was far superior.

Booked a golf holiday with 11 others and pleasantly surprised on the standard.Checkin was a deposit of 250e per family room and this was refunded a few days after we arrived back home.Rooms are large enough but you only have 1 fridge & 1 safe in the suite of 2 rooms (4 beds). 1 room also has the large bathroom so choose wisely…we took the smaller room as it had the fridge which was filled up with beer from the supermarket across the road. We have booked Turkey for the last 13yrs but it got too expensive so first time as a group playing in Portugal. Breakfast had a large choice and variety and many options during the week. Lunch we mainly missed as golfing but dinner had a lot of variety too - plenty types of fish if u like that sort of thing. Only 1 bar open at night which got very busy so could do with another open somewhere (games room had been closed from previous reviews). Gordon’s Gin & Absolut Vodka were the local spirits but AI closes at 11pm. Bar across the road is open til late but only if they are busy. I’m already going to book for next year as everybody thoroughly enjoyed themselves

Good location and seems Renewed. I knew this hotel a long time ago and now is top with great confort and the rooms are great. Good swimming pool area and great breakfast indoor and outside. Very Nice Spa and good and friendly staff. Hope to get back again soon.

Best time ever. Staff was all very helpfull but Debora made our experience amazing, providing us with all we requested. Loved the tranquility and the nearby beach. The rooms are big and clean. Will be back next year, and hopefully to see all renovations and spa.

Definitely not a 5 star hotel more like a 3 star. The suite was lovely and spacious (2 balconies overlooking the pool) however the food was totally disappointing. Cheap buffet - packet mix curry, packet mixed desserts. Only ate 1 night here even though we were all inclusive. Cocktails at the bar are worth having and bar staff very friendly. The hotel is full of large groups of noisy, young lads golfing. The other atlantico is a much nicer spec and closer to a 4/5 star than the atlantico suites. Wouldnt stay again - as someone who visits the Algarve frequently; Vilamoura and Almancil are much nicer areas to stay for holiday.

The hotel has changed since our last visit and I must say for the better. The buffet Restaurant food was marvellous with table service for drinks. Every member of staff were very pleasant and hard working. Played the 3 golf courses which were a good test of golf. The only thing they need to improve is the golf transfers , pick-up 2 hrs before tee-off time then 2 hrs after your finished round is unacceptable. Still had a pleasant week at the sao raphal suites.
