VIVA Sunrise

Had an amazing time! Superb hotel, entertainment, service and food! Could not fault it and the kids had an amazing time. Shout out to Tony and Maria who were first class in the restaurant and Sports bar. Also all the entertainment staff who kept everyone entertained throughout our stay. Will definitely be back.

Absolutely amazing hotel with the loveliest staff members and the greatest animation team. This was for us our first mommy-son (all-in) vacation, we had a blast! Everyone is super friendly, clean rooms, nice food and drinks and a lot of entertainment going on!

Home today after a fantastic 2 weeks at Viva Sunrise, I can honestly say it was just brilliant ROOM Stayed self catering in a one bedroom pool view apartment, 2 adults, a 12 year old and 14 year old. Room 431 was perfect! Rooms are spotlessly clean, a good size, plenty of wardrobe space, bathroom is huge. Self catering facilities are good although I wouldn’t be making dinner but perfect for breakfast, sandwiches, snacks etc. Air conditioning was also great! POOL I was worried about pool depths being too low after reading of the renovations but to be honest the highlight for us was the pool. The pool cushion/bubble was a huge hit. As were the pool games, water mat etc. If you’re there to swim then maybe not for you but for fun pool day it was brilliant. Smaller kids splash pool also looked fab. Everything also so clean. ENTERTAINMENT As we were self catering we were out for dinner each evening so didn’t see the evening entertainment, however, the daytime activities were fab and my kids enjoyed them. The reps energy and enthusiasm was second to none, always helpful and great fun! Special thanks to Elias for making each day such a laugh!! FOOD Again, we were self catering but did have lunch a few times in the Sports bar and found it very tasty. Staff were lovely and very efficient. GENERAL Found all the staff lovely to deal with. Supermarket on site next the pool where you can scan your wristband and charge to your room, very handy for drinks/snacks during the day. You can also do this in the Sports bar/drinks truck. Small arcade to the left of reception with a pool table etc Thanks from Jamie, Dianne and the boys! We will definitely return!!

Very nice staff, with an incredible high standard. They made up for the lacks of the hotel. They all go very far to make sure the guests are having the best vacation possible. This year we tried the “Selection Club” because of all the mentioned advantages, but will go home disappointed. The plumbing at the hotel is ridiculously under dimensioned and if you try to take a bath around 6pm in a room on the 5th floor, the water pressure is so low that you need to use one hand at all time to get the small amount of water you get to come out of the overhead shower head. They advertise with late checkouts for “Selection Club” but when you ask for it they can’t tell you until the morning you have to leave and the it is always denied. When all that is said, we have been coming here for the last 13 years (minus the corona years) and in general we are very happy leased with the hotel. Mainly because the staff are the best and the go above and beyond to make your stay the best. Thank you VIVA sunrise for yet another great holiday.

Returned yesterday from a week long family holiday, we didn't want to leave! Brilliant hotel, good size rooms with super king bed and all rooms have a balcony/terrace. 2 massive wardrobes with a decent amount of hangers, big bathroom with a good shower and double sinks. Big bottles of shower gel, shampoo, conditioner and hand wash were provided as well as a fairly good hairdryer. Kitchenette was small but had everything we needed. Washing up liquid was provided but a cloth or sponge would've been helpful. The room was very clean with daily housekeeping (except Sunday I think) if needed. Our 9yr old son loved the bouncy pillow in the pool. There were lots of sun loungers and cabanas, we always managed to get 1 or the other when needed but I would imagine possibly not quite enough in July/August. The entertainment team, particularly Bryan were fantastic. There are regular activities for adults and children throughout the day and the team will encourage people to join in. There's a kids disco 8-9pm every evening and other entertainment 9-10pm. We were impressed with entertainment, it was great for adults as well as kids. Finishing at 10pm was perfect for us as we were happy to relax in the apartment for an hour then go to sleep. The giant chess board was great, my son and I played a game every day. We were self catering but did eat at the hotel once a day. The sports bar does a nice burger. The buffet has a different theme each evening so doesn't get too samey. Food was nothing special but good enough, better than most all inclusive resorts. It was good value, we paid between 50 and 60 Euros for a family of 3 which included certain drinks. The beach is about a 10-15 minute walk and is nice. Sun loungers and parasols are available to hire for around 20 Euros for 2 loungers. We had a brilliant holiday and are considering booking again for next year!

Viva Sunrise 4*....What a lovely hotel. We stayed here in October for 7 nights with our young family. We were greeted by a lovely gentleman at reception. They give you chipped wristbands so there is no room cards which was perfect. Rooms were clean and tidy. Pool towels were provided and you could change these on a Tuesday or Sat morning. A cot was provided for our baby and our other 2 kids slept on a sofa bed and pull out single bed. The master double bed was comfortable also. The room had other amenities such as a kettle, fridge and Microwave. The room balcony was a safe space and had great views over the pools. The kids splash pool was great however at this time of year the water was cold. The middle pool was said to be heated but was only ever look warm. The large pool with the bouncy ball was also cold at this time of year. No floaties/inflatables were allowed in any of the pools. Lifeguards were present at all times when the pools were open. Plenty of sun loungers available. Food was plentiful and lovely. I did feel however the kids meal selections were very limited especially for our baby who was 14 months old. The sports bar food menu was excellent and meals came in large portions both for adults and kids choices. Soft drinks and Alcoholic drinks particularly the cocktails were on point. You could use the QR code to order these. The addition of the Orange drinks truck was great as you didn't have to venture far to get a drink. The animation team were friendly and the kids really enjoyed the kids disco which was on every evening at 8pm. Our kids did not use the kids club but it is an option here. There is a kids play area, football pitch, swings, slide and small bouncy castle. The night entertainment was always good, singers, dancers, magician and the animation team tookover some nights, with something a little different involving the guests. The hotel is maximum 10minutes walk to the beach, bars, restaurants and shops. The hotel has an onsite shop and a Spar shop located right next door. All staff were lovely and friendly, always making the effort to speak to our children. We really enjoyed our time here and would highly recommend. Tip: mosquito 🦟 spray is needed to keep the bites at bay.
