Very welcoming and clean hotel, spacious pool area with plenty of sun loungers. Spa area is a nice touch! All staff were friendly and worked with a smile. The lifeguard was especially friendly with a lovely smile

Хороший отель в Алькудии, комфортная шаговая доступность до пляжа, при этом находится в тихом месте, проезжую часть не слышно совсем. Весьма щедрые и разнообразные завтраки. Но номера не очень большие, слышно соседей. В целом все очень достойно. При заселении угощают шампанским, пляжные полотенца можно взять в аренду под залог 10€ с человека

The property is quite far from Port d'Alcudia but closer to Playa d'Alcudia. The rooms are small, especially for 3 adults. They have been recently renovated. The balcony overlooking the large outdoor pool is spacious. The new spa with an indoor pool, sauna and steam room, is very pleasant. The breakfast is good and dinner has space for improvement. In a 4* property, I don't understand that we still have to pay for the use of the safe!

The great reviews seem weird to me… I went in the “off season” in Alcudia and this place is loud until midnight. So if you want some quiet time be aware: this is the surrounding area of the hotel that is loud. Not their fault but must be noted. The room is very clean and good. The room staff were so happy and friendly. The outdoor balcony lights are SO bright, there should be a switch inside to choose to turn them off but you can’t, so at night It’s a bit much. Shout out to Dagmar at the front reception, she is a friendly and wonderful soul who is happy to help with any request even offer ideas for food and fun in the area. Beach is a 5 minute walk from the hotel, which is great. Cafe in hotel for coffee doesn’t open until 10:30am. Pool was very cold and not skimmed while I was there but maybe by chance. Hotel is very hectic with children. The breakfast buffet has ZERO strategy and it’s totally chaos. It’s also not clean. I had several plates not cleaned, cutlery directly on uncleaned placemats and anyone could walk in and eat a free buffet breakfast here. They don’t ask for any type of proof you’re staying there with the cost included you could walk in off the street! It shocked me. Also, a photo of disgusting mold on the salt shaker made me wonder how clean and maintained the kitchen/restaurant is.

Went to this hotel 33years ago(1991) totally changed,friendly staff,relaxing atmosphere,food choices for everyone a pool to suit all including non-swimmers Like the pool bar.Served cava for breakfast one morning as you walked in,the violin player with renditions of a wide range of pop and rock tunes was entertaining while eating breakfast.Will be going back next year.

Just returned from 10 days at this amazing hotel….The hotel itself, staff, service and food are one of the best we have experienced as seasoned travellers across the world….The Hotel, rooms , restaurant and pool area are modern, have tasteful decor and are kept to a very high standard of cleanliness. The swim up bar which was available 2-6 is a much added bonus for those lazy afternoons around the pool and if your lucky enough to grab one of the cabana’s adds a luxurious feel ! and a trip upstairs to the Spa is well worth a visit with a beautiful spa pool, steam room and sauna at no extra cost. The food choices in the restaurant are varied, plentiful and delicious. James the bar manager and all of his staff are very attentive and made our holiday what it was relaxing, enjoyable and wanting to return next year ! Thank you to all the staff at JS Sol De Alcúdia you do it brilliantly so keep going.

This is a great place to stay, I would highly recommend. I stayed with a friend for 5 days for a relaxing pool/beach holiday and that is exactly what we received. Staff were really accommodating and were always there to help. Location - Amazing location, 2 minute walk to road with restaurants, bars and shops. 5 minute walk from the beach. Is a busy but quietish part of Alcudia. The bars and the shops around all shut around 11pm-12am. Hotel - Rooms were modern and very clean and comfortable. Extra beds were just as comfortable as the main beds. Outlets and lights on both sides of beds which was really helpful. The air conditioning worked, but was not the best. We found that leaving the key in and keeping the air con on whilst we went for dinner was the only way to keep the room cool enough. Safe you have to pay to use so we didn't bother. Checking in took a while as often there is only one person on the desk - took about 20 mins to check in each group and so was waiting a while to ask a member of staff a question. Room had a mini fridge - very useful for bottled water to stay cold. Water bottles in the hotel are quite expensive so we brought bottles from local supermarkets. Cash points - There were lots of cash points near but we could not find one that did not charge - I was charged around €3.50 to take out €10 from a cash point. I used a monzo card throughout my trip and apart from the towels deposit, everywhere we went to took a card/contactless payment. Wifi - available for free but was not great. Worked in the 12-12 bar and by the pool but was very slow/struggled to load videos. Wifi did not reach the rooms on the 5th floor at all (phone wouldn't even connect) so had to use roaming data in there. Pool - great sized pool. Went during school holidays and there were always enough sunbeds to use every single day, even without placing towels down before breakfast. If you want to sit in the shade, only the sunbeds directly in front of the pool have moveable umbrellas, the rest are permanently in the ground so cannot move them as the sun moves during the day. Pool/beach towels you can borrow from the hotel you have to have a €10 cash deposit per towel which you get back once you return it at the end of the stay. If you want to change your towel during your stay, there is a €1 charge each time so I just dried mine on the balcony since there is an airer outside. The pool bar was not open once during our stay there. We were told that this was due to an electricity fault. This was disappointing as it was something we were looking forward to when we booked this hotel. We were not told this when we checked in and instead had to ask the front desk why it wasn't open. Maybe the hotel should offer a free drink/ice cream to customers Food - We stayed half board. The breakfasts were standard and the same every day. Pancakes, fried eggs and omlettes are made fresh to order. Dinner has themes every day. Some days were better than others. Always had b

We arrived at the hotel about 1pm and met Gabi, the lovely receptionist, who told us the room wasn’t quite ready but we were welcome to leave our cases at reception, which we did. Went for a drink and a bite to eat in the bar area next to the pool, first impressions were good, lovely food and great service, it only got better! Our room, 313, was very nice, third floor overlooking the pool area. I had a few questions about pool towels etc so went back down to reception and saw Gabi again - she answered all my questions with a smile! We were half board and had intended to eat out for half of our stay (10 days) but the food was so nice we didn’t bother! Breakfast was also very good, great choice of food and also the waiting staff were very friendly too. Entertainment on a night was okay, nice to sit around the pool area for a nightcap! Marcelo, one of the waiters was so friendly and attentive, an asset to the hotel. The location of the hotel is fab, 5 minute walk to the beach and lots of shops around that area. Lastly, the beds and pillows are the comfiest I have ever slept in and we had maid service every day. I would definitely return to this hotel tomorrow if I could, thank you to all the wonderful staff who made our stay so enjoyable, hopefully we will see you again soon!

The room we stayed in was infested with silverfish. We saw at least one new each day. The hotel did not offer us any help, they just sent cleaning up to the room to clean as if that would remove them. They did not offer a new room or any refund/reimbursment. They also told us that silverfish was normal and just accept it. This is not a 4-star hotel in my opinion. They should have offered a new room, and closed down this one to gas and kill the silverfish. On top of that the sheets had blood stains and the shower had black mold.

We arrived at the hotel at 1.30am for a 7 day stay and on arrival the receptionist was very helpful and even offered us cold food from the restaurant. The hotel is located in a quieter part of the town but only a short stroll from shops, eateries and the beach. The hotel room was very nice and clean and bed supper comfortable. We had opted for half board and the food for breakfast and the evening meal was simply superb, a vast choice catering for all tastes. The staff were friendly and attentive. The pool was cleaned on a regular basis and there were sufficient sun loungers and cabanas. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Lovely hotel. All the staff we came into contact with were fantastic, in particular Sebastian & the team in the dining room, including the chefs. A special mention to Zusanna on reception who went above & beyond with an issue we had. The food is very good with a varied selection for both breakfast & dinner. The pool area is really nice & the bali beds are so comfy & there's no extra charge. The bedrooms are light & airy, although the storage could be better ie no drawers & no full length wardrobe space for ladies dresses. The safe is charged at €4.50 per day or €27 per week plus a refundable deposit of €5. We thought the charge was fairly expensive as a lot of hotels now do not charge extra for a safe. The hotel is situated approx 20 mins walk from the port, but the "bellevue *****" is within 5 mins. Not to our liking, british bars & no nice local bars that we prefer so headed towards the port each night. Overall we had a great holiday & would happily recommend.

This was our second time to stay here, brilliant to meet the staff again and to meet new staff, food is delicious, hotel is almost perfect for a full-time wheelchair user, the hotel is absolutely perfect for people not confined to a wheelchair. 1 hour 20 minutes on the TIB from the airport to the nearest bus stop. €13 pp each way. About a 10 minute stroll from the bus stop to the hotel. Footpath not fully smooth in places and a few lips on the pipped curbs that catch the wheels on a suitcase. Some food and complimentary glass of wine on arrival. I think there are 4 wheelchair rooms, one above the other with street views and mountains. Wooden blocks can be put under the bed legs to raise the bed height. The room is good, there is a lip onto the balcony which can be difficult to get across. Good sized ensuite, sink within arms length of the toilet would be great. Outdoor pool area is great, pool isn't heated, no hoist into the pool, no lifeguard. Access to the indoor pool and gym areas have been made accessible. No hoist to indoor pool or lifeguard. The area around the hotel is level and has a lovely path along the beach to Alcudia. The manager is a pure gentleman, very friendly and helpful, thank you An email address on the website specially for people with mobility issues to make contact would be great, I think Thank you all again for a lovely stay
