We had a short overnight stay at this property while en route to Jaipur.Β The hotel is basic and clean but there are a few areas that show room for improvement. For instance, as soon as you enter the lobby there is a strong smell from the toilets. When I tried bringing this to the attention of the front office staff they simply used some room freshner to try and mask the smell. This did not help and only makes the lobby feel suffocating. I hope they address this problem as there needs to be proper ventilation to ensure that the smell from toilets doesn't come into the lobby area. Not sure why the toilets were even smelling so much. I didn't risk going inside because the smell in the lobby was bad enough to tolerate. Despite the hotel being next to the highway, the front lawn area was a nice respite as it offered some space to get fresh air and a break from the nauseating toilet smell in the lobby. The one postive thing about staying here was that the chefs did a really good job with my special dietary needs preparing gluten-free dishes for dinner based on my request. Since I have celiac disease, I find it hard to get safe food options especially so far away from the city. Grateful to chef Sachin and his team for taking care of my needs and preparing food separately and carefully while taking care to avoid cross contact with gluten. The quality of the food was really nice.
