La Petite Vigne

The two of us had a delightful stay at Le Petite Vigne. We were cycling town to town and there was a place to secure our bikes which we appreciated. The house is lovely, old and full of character. We were greeted by the hostess Stephanie (and a cat named Bolo) after letting ourselves in the front. She is the nicest, sweetest lady we met on our entire trip! She covered all the amenities, including a preview of the amazing breakfast to come. We loved our room, the ‘Rose Room’ and the bathroom was everything we needed. Some guests have commented on towel softness, but we encountered this at several places, it’s really not a big deal. The amazing-ness of the breakfast next morning was only exceeded by the charm and care the Stephanie bestowed on us, and it was actually felt difficult for us to leave her company the next day. If you’d like to feel the charm of an older home, please come stay here. Tell Stephanie (and Bolo) we say Hi!

Very nice home with modern bathroom. The hostess is charming. The breakfast is fantastic!! Be advised that there are cats in the property although not in the guest rooms and the towels were scratchy/rough. Nice location. Charming stay.

Chambre confortable dans une belle demeure du centre d’Amboise ; très bon accueil Petit déjeuner français avec des viennoiseries du matin même. Seul bémol : absence de produits de toilette (shampoing, gel douche) et serviettes de toilettes très rêches et qui semblent avoir bien vécu ; un peu dommage vu le lieu et le tarif

Nous venons de passer une nuit chez une dame charmante , superbe maison de maitre en centre ville à 10 mns à pieds du château et des restaurants . Chambre agreable avec une superbe salle de bains avec douche. Petit dejeuner copieux avec confiture maison , viennoiseries . Notre hôte nous a beaucoup parler de la région et tenue compagnie .
