I couldn't be more pleased with this hostel! I highly recommend it. The hostel, including bathrooms and showers, was very clean. The beds were super cozy and comfortable and offered some privacy. Staff was super sweet and helpful. Bonus points that the lobby always smelled like toast or freshly baked cookies! Also, the bike rental service was fantastic. One suggestion for improvement is that it would have been nice to have some wall hangers in the room. Since there were none, people resorted to hanging stuff from the bed ladders or just putting it on the floor.

I’m surprise that for this hotel service and courtesy of staff is better than their 3* hotek in London The front desk staff were really helpful & friendly . We arrived late at night without dinner and the front desk share the apps for food delivery which we ordered pizza at 11pm . Location is good . Enjoy the view while walking to city central . Rooms is really clean & bigger than holiday inn. Simple healthy breakfast with nice environment . Completely satisfied with the service of this hotel . Highly recommended

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Small room but very comfortable, clean, and relatively quiet considering how close to the bustling tourist areas it is. Very convenient to the train station and kind staff. The breakfast/lounge area was a fantastic place to sit in peace with a coffee and get some work done.

Love the location. Closed to Centraal station. Just walk out from the station and take the (free) ferry. Ferry runs frequently 24 hours. Hightly recommend for those who are arriving late night or leaving very early in the morning.
Room is clean and comfortable. Hot and cold water provided throughout the day. Common area is fantastic. Note that there is no kitchen, no microwave.

I had an amazing stay at this cool and unique pod hotel in Amsterdam. The pods were surprisingly spacious, and the top bunk provided a comfortable bed with fun lights to enhance the ambiance. Despite the shared bathrooms and toilets, they were always clean and well-maintained. Also there is a cat there very cute, forget his name though. They give you these bracelets that let you do everything in the hubs as well you can leave your luggage after check-out and even shower afterwards if your flight is later. The hosts were incredibly informative about Amsterdam, and the personalized app guide made exploring the city a breeze. I'll never forget the delicious restaurant recommendation they provided - that meal was unforgettable! Breakfast, conveniently located across the street, was a thoughtful touch. The hotel's facilities, including games and fridge and microwave amenities kinda serve yourself, made it feel like a cozy living room where we enjoyed drinks and games each night in the communal space. Despite a small issue with our pod, the staff promptly resolved it and even offered us wine, which was a lovely gesture. With the popular food hall right next door and easy bike rentals available, the location couldn't have been better. We enjoyed the convenience of having delicious food options nearby and exploring the city on the provided bikes. Overall, this was the best experience I've had in Amsterdam, and I would gladly return in a heartbeat. If you're planning a trip to Amsterdam, I highly recommend staying here for an unforgettable experience.

The hotel was fine but for early flights leaving from the airport, the breakfast isn’t available until 7am. I made the error of booking the room along with breakfast for two which we couldn’t use. The staff presented us a breakfast box with mostly bread and water and only a serving for one instead of two. I asked the staff if the breakfast could be returned and deducted from the payment but they would not comply. The usual buffet breakfast might have been nice and worth the money but the “breakfast box” for 20euros was not.

Nice hotel, decent rates, good bathroom, but really just lacking in information. First off, the hotel is in a mall, and there’s no indication of which doors are open after the mall closes and which aren’t. Google Maps is unaware of that, so if you’re relying on that or a similar service to get you back to the hotel, be aware that will not work, and employees will not provide you with useful information about this unless you ask. For the record, I eventually managed to enter via Catharinje Esplanade. Second, maybe it’s because I visited on a holiday, but there was no front desk or room service late at night, which would be totally fine IF that communication were provided. But there was no indication whatsoever that the supposedly 24 hour room service was not actually 24 hours. Again, certainly don’t begrudge employees a night off. But *management* needs to do a much better job communicating what services are or are not available and when. Don’t promise something your employees can’t deliver. If management would just set realistic expectations and provide a little more useful information, this would be a nice hotel.

IIrene KYMI love the location. Its close to Dam Square and shopping street. 7 minswalk to Amsterdam Central Station so its convenient. Toilet bowl has stain and not well cleaned. Room is comfortable overall. I love the breakfast and friendly staff.

PPengguna TetamuHotel was great for the price you pay. The rooms are tiny (barely enough room to open a suitcase) and although situated conveniently next to a metro station is in the middle of nowhere but again, you get what you pay for and the lobby, gym and communal areas are well designed and well kept. If you don’t mind a 15/20min Metro travel to Amsterdam Centraal you wouldn’t mind it here I give the hotel 2 stars because I accidentally left my Apple Airpod headphones in the lobby area the day I checked out to visit another hotel in Amsterdam, although when I called Hotel Leonardo that same night to ask them if they’d been handed in I was told they hadn’t. I travelled down to the hotel the next morning to be told the same thing, that there were no headphones that had been handed in but they asked for my name and previous room number so they could contact me should they turn up. Luckily I was able to make my lost AirPods make a sound (findmyiphone feature you can activate when you lose a device) and I could hear them beeping behind the front desk so I told the receptionist that I knew they were behind the desk and she eventually handed them over. I firmly believe the hotel staff were trying to keep my misplaced AirPods headphones and if I had not been able to make the sound from the Airpods they would have pocketed them

PPritam ManeraoHands down the best location if you wanna be away from the center crowd but also wanna be close to pretty much everything. The staff was great. We got late for breakfast a couple of times and the staff was so kind to extend their breakfast timing just for us.

BBrianSurprisingly, I had a disappointing experience at Holiday Inn Express Amsterdam Arena Towers. The front desk staff was somewhat dismissive and the breakfast was not up to par with other Express locations. Otherwise, the rooms are of typical small-ish European size and comfortable. Note that unlike other international hotels, they don't provide power adapters in the room nor at the front desk (you can purchase one in the kiosk). The location is conveniently located close to the Arena, which means trains and ample fast food choices. It's not a bad choice even if you have to invest roughly half an hour by train to get to downtown Amsterdam.

PPengguna TetamuOh my, I loved staying at BUNK Hotel Amsterdam. I was first attracted by the good reviews of this young hostel/hotel hybrid, booked it far enough in advance for an early bird discount, and just a couple of days into my seven day stay, I realized I'd truly gotten a great deal. BUNK Amsterdam is fantastic! Ugh, where to start? I rented a pod, which is in a large room containing about 50 pods. Pods are preferable to bunk beds or other kinds of barrack-style hostels. There is privacy, there is enough space for you to get comfortable, change your clothes, the mattress is fine, the blanket and pillow are very cushy and cozy, the curtain is thick and heavy. The lighting situation inside the pod is unique, one of those switches with a lot of color and tone options, so you can really light the pod to your mood. I slept very well considering I was in a room with 30-50 other people at any given time. You also get a private locker beneath your pod that can fit a suitcase and a backpack with relative ease, unless you've overpacked.
The bathroom is non-gendered, all the stalls are very clean and private. As a guy, it felt weird to use the bathroom while women were in it, so I blasted music in my earbuds to tune the world out while I did my business, ha. The showers are in a separate room and also very private. The water pressure is great and the showerheads are waterfall style. They have towels available at all hours. If you don't see any on the rack, just ask and there they shall be.
The biggest surprise for me here was the restaurant. The restaurant attached to BUNK is basically a 4-star restaurant with 2-star prices. They have a full bar with well-priced drinks and very skilled, very handsome bartenders/baristas who can craft a wide arrays of cocktails. The chefs are also highly skilled, and the servers are attentive and kind. The menu is diverse, ranging from avocado toast to an interesting Indonesia beef stew-like dish that I can only describe as mind-blowingly delicious. They also featured a ”taco” that was very tasty despite really not being a taco at all. My favorite breakfast (and perhaps favorite overall meal) was their Eggs Bennie with fresh smoked salmon. For dessert, on multiple occasions I ordered their popular Snickers dessert, which was peanut ice cream with caramel and shards of chocolate and brittle. I meant to do more foodie tourism during my week in Amsterdam, but the food was so good I wound up taking a good percentage of my meals in the BUNK restaurant. I snapped some pictures of the food I mentioned; it should go without saying that I am not a pro photographer.
The front desk is manned (or womaned) 24/7, so anytime there was an issue or I had a question, someone was available. They are very attentive with regards to customer service. I should also note with their keycard system and network of entrances and hallways, I felt very safe. They care about security there and take proper, non-intrusive methods to make sure everyone is comfortable. I should also mention the facility is just beautiful. It's built within a very old church, there is a library, plants everywhere, a calming vibe throughout, and a quiet room for work or study.
BUNK is located in the North section of Amsterdam (Noord). Noord is the quieter part of Amsterdam, suburb feeling as opposed to the city vibe elsewhere. It's extremely easy to get to the Central area from here though. There is a ferry about a 10 minute walk away that takes you to the central area, as well as a tram a five minute walk away that takes you directly to Centraal Station.
I really hit a home run choosing this place, BUNK Amsterdam truly delivered the goods. Great building, great amenities, great staff, great restaurant, great location. I would recommend this to anyone traveling solo or as a couple/small group. Very small group. It's great to stay for a couple of days or a whole week. I loved my experience here and would stay again if/when I return to Amsterdam. Great place.

PPengguna TetamuAfter our Viking Rhine Cruise ended in Amsterdam, we planned to stay the night to check out the city. This hotel had the right combination of price, location, and amenities. We chose one of the 2nd floor suits which included a balcony for smoking. The room was located above the side street which was lined with sycamore trees so the balcony was screened by the branches—it was lovely. Noise level was not bad since this was not the tourist sector but it was still the city so it wasn’t quiet or dark. The room was spacious especially the bathroom. From the hotel we walked to the old city and passed several canals along the way. We didn’t wind up eating at the hotel but we did order from the bar and the bartender was friendly. The staff was friendly and called a cab for us in the morning to get to the airport. Would stay here again.

Hotel in lovely area, 15 min tram to the centre, good sized clean room - basic decoration. Very much a backpackers hotel/hostel vibe. Not for someone expecting a prestige type room for the price. There was a mini fridge in our room we found very useful. Cleaners and staff were great, iron was avaliable, and slept with little noise coming from neighbouring rooms. The place had a nice atmosphere with the music venue and studios on the ground floor. We were very worried after reading some bad reviews but relieved by our actual experience of a spotless room, fresh towels everyday and a fan in our room when it was warm. It still seems a little overpriced in comparison to hotels in other cities but I think its average when it comes to Amsterdam with limited accommodation options.

I was a little concerned about this hotel after reading so many bad reviews, but I decided to give it a chance, since the location and the price were so perfect. I was not disapointed. The staff was very friendly, the room, the sheets, towels and bathroom were really clean. I could point two negative things about this room: it was really small (which was no problem, I was alone) and my pillow was nothing but a folded blanket inside a pillow cover. Other than that no complains. Could definitely stay here again.

My room was on the 3rd floor, the elevator only goes to the 2nd floor, not really a big deal but a bit weird.
Don't get me wrong, the room itself felt clean and fresh, nothing to complain about there besides that the shower pressure was insanly low, sometimes the water just stopped running at all during a shower...
But the big issue is the size of the room itself and what you get for over a €100 a night, I booked a single room for one person, and the room feels like it's built around the frame of the bed, the room is incredible small, smallest hotel room I've ever stayed in and the most expensive one as well.
The bathroom is so small that the toilet is placed just behind the sink so you barely have room to actually sit on the toilet, and the glass door to the shower can only be opened on one side... the side where the sink is so you have about 30cm of room to get out of the shower because the sink is in the way...
Like I said, the room felt clean and fresh, but it is ridiculously small.
Overall a good stay, the room was good enough for sleeping in but for the size of the room and what you pay for it doesn't really add up, over a €100 a night for a room barely bigger than the bed itself is kinda weird.
