Incredible building And room with great space And feel. I wasnt very well one the last day of my stay And the Male receptionist was a legend giving me tea And advice how to get better. Felt like a friend at the desk, was a great vibe.
Only downside is the Wifi would come And go as they only have 1000 IP address's so sometimes it drops out after a couple hours.
Would defo stay there again, great value for money when i went

This hotel was truly lovely. It was my second visit to Amsterdam and my 3 friends and I stayed here for 3 nights. The city centre was walkable (about 15-20 minutes) or you could get the tram which was just at the end of the street. Tram tickets can be super cheap if you buy a 24/48/72 hour travel card so hopping on and off became very easy and natural. There are cafes within 5 minutes walk and the hotel also had a cosy cafe on its ground floor. There is also a bike shop close by which was lovely to hire bikes and cycle around Vondelpark (10 minute cycle). The staff were incredibly friendly, the room was clean and we had a very comfortable stay. For 4 of us, the value for money was excellent. I love Amsterdam as a city and would happily return for a 3rd time and stay here. I couldn’t find any fault in this hotel. Thank you for a brilliant stay!

Super friendly night staff and was very helpful !! Would not stay again as pictures are completely misleading nothing as advertised much smaller and pour room hygiene there were ants on our table side cigarette burns also on the table when mentioned to the day staff we were having issues with our room as the vent directly out side our room was so loud we asked to swap they had said there fully booked when looking on their website there were still plenty of other room I could have booked for that night we also asked at the same time if we could have a extra pillow as they provided small square pillows that were just enough to rest my head on lay down flat in one statue like position the maintenance person followed us up the stairs and got a pillow out of another room and this was filthy and had marks on it that were very visible on white sheets I would have recommended the hostel across the street over Trianon there best feature was the vending machine and free map

The room was small with very little room for baggage and no easy access power points for chargers etc
The room was on second floor with noise from the street on Saturday night till early hours and Sunday was less
But I can sleep anywhere
They do provide earbuds 😊

I love everything about this hotel. It's affordable and has every basic amenitie you need when you travel overseas. The only down part is you have to pay to get an adaptor. So pls remember to bring your international travel adaptor if you don’t want to end up paying €15 . If you love walking and travel like local . This hotel has a good location . It’s about 30min walks to Van Gogh museum . I will definitely staying at this hotel again when I visit the Amsterdam

Definitely one of the coolest hostel I’ve been. Super cool stuff,easy and fast check in and out , great facilities,bar ,coffee shop , hall area super chill atmosphere. I am very satisfied with my stay in this hostel and with reception staff. Location is perfect too . I had lovely stay and will definitely come again and recommend it to everyone. Only one thing is not good ,check in is at 4pm and check out is at 10am 😭 that’s kinda annoying 🤷♀️ but all other things are just great 🤩🤍

The room is spacious for one person. There js a safety lock and a fridge in the room. Two water bottles are provided on my first day but that’s it. The reception will suggest you to drink water from the tap. The bathroom is in a good size, not too large and not too small. There is no shower curtain, only half cover glass, and therefore the floor outside the shower area will be wet after taking a shower. Hair dryer is available in the bathroom. Decaf coffee and tea are provided. The hotel is in a convenient location, only one station from the Amsterdam centraal. Spar is the name of the convenient store at the Sloterdijk station.

Had a great experience as a solo traveller. All I needed was a comfortable bed and a shower in the morning and this fit that purpose.
Room is well designed, and had plenty of hanging / storage space. Matress is firm, which is how I have mine so I was happy with the comfort of my sleep.
No problems with both heating and cooling, as well as no hot water problems. Only thing I would say is if you’re staying on an outside room, and the rain is pretty hard, it will cause some noise as it hits the metal structure. Didn’t bother me, but it could bother others who are more sensitive to noise.
I’d stay again , and felt it offered great value for money

Saya fikir ia adalah hotel yang sesuai untuk penginapan jangka panjang, kerana bilik-bilik dilengkapi dengan dapur, dan terdapat bilik dobi serta pelayan air di dalam hotel.
Saya tidak tahu cara menggunakan ketuhar di dapur, jadi saya pergi bertanya kepada kakitangan meja depan, dan mereka datang ke bilik saya dan menerangkannya kepada saya secara terperinci!
Saya ingin menggunakannya semula apabila saya tinggal di Amsterdam!

PPengguna TetamuI couldn't be more pleased with this hostel! I highly recommend it. The hostel, including bathrooms and showers, was very clean. The beds were super cozy and comfortable and offered some privacy. Staff was super sweet and helpful. Bonus points that the lobby always smelled like toast or freshly baked cookies! Also, the bike rental service was fantastic. One suggestion for improvement is that it would have been nice to have some wall hangers in the room. Since there were none, people resorted to hanging stuff from the bed ladders or just putting it on the floor.

Room is ok and decent for the price you paid for. Basic amenities provided but note that they do not have facial tissue or bedroom slipper provided.
The room probably not suitable for friends who are body shy? There is a hole to the bathroom sliding door, so there’s basically no privacy to it.
Overall, pretty happy with the stay.

PPengguna TetamuHotel was great for the price you pay. The rooms are tiny (barely enough room to open a suitcase) and although situated conveniently next to a metro station is in the middle of nowhere but again, you get what you pay for and the lobby, gym and communal areas are well designed and well kept. If you don’t mind a 15/20min Metro travel to Amsterdam Centraal you wouldn’t mind it here I give the hotel 2 stars because I accidentally left my Apple Airpod headphones in the lobby area the day I checked out to visit another hotel in Amsterdam, although when I called Hotel Leonardo that same night to ask them if they’d been handed in I was told they hadn’t. I travelled down to the hotel the next morning to be told the same thing, that there were no headphones that had been handed in but they asked for my name and previous room number so they could contact me should they turn up. Luckily I was able to make my lost AirPods make a sound (findmyiphone feature you can activate when you lose a device) and I could hear them beeping behind the front desk so I told the receptionist that I knew they were behind the desk and she eventually handed them over. I firmly believe the hotel staff were trying to keep my misplaced AirPods headphones and if I had not been able to make the sound from the Airpods they would have pocketed them

PPengguna TetamuOh my, I loved staying at BUNK Hotel Amsterdam. I was first attracted by the good reviews of this young hostel/hotel hybrid, booked it far enough in advance for an early bird discount, and just a couple of days into my seven day stay, I realized I'd truly gotten a great deal. BUNK Amsterdam is fantastic! Ugh, where to start? I rented a pod, which is in a large room containing about 50 pods. Pods are preferable to bunk beds or other kinds of barrack-style hostels. There is privacy, there is enough space for you to get comfortable, change your clothes, the mattress is fine, the blanket and pillow are very cushy and cozy, the curtain is thick and heavy. The lighting situation inside the pod is unique, one of those switches with a lot of color and tone options, so you can really light the pod to your mood. I slept very well considering I was in a room with 30-50 other people at any given time. You also get a private locker beneath your pod that can fit a suitcase and a backpack with relative ease, unless you've overpacked.
The bathroom is non-gendered, all the stalls are very clean and private. As a guy, it felt weird to use the bathroom while women were in it, so I blasted music in my earbuds to tune the world out while I did my business, ha. The showers are in a separate room and also very private. The water pressure is great and the showerheads are waterfall style. They have towels available at all hours. If you don't see any on the rack, just ask and there they shall be.
The biggest surprise for me here was the restaurant. The restaurant attached to BUNK is basically a 4-star restaurant with 2-star prices. They have a full bar with well-priced drinks and very skilled, very handsome bartenders/baristas who can craft a wide arrays of cocktails. The chefs are also highly skilled, and the servers are attentive and kind. The menu is diverse, ranging from avocado toast to an interesting Indonesia beef stew-like dish that I can only describe as mind-blowingly delicious. They also featured a ”taco” that was very tasty despite really not being a taco at all. My favorite breakfast (and perhaps favorite overall meal) was their Eggs Bennie with fresh smoked salmon. For dessert, on multiple occasions I ordered their popular Snickers dessert, which was peanut ice cream with caramel and shards of chocolate and brittle. I meant to do more foodie tourism during my week in Amsterdam, but the food was so good I wound up taking a good percentage of my meals in the BUNK restaurant. I snapped some pictures of the food I mentioned; it should go without saying that I am not a pro photographer.
The front desk is manned (or womaned) 24/7, so anytime there was an issue or I had a question, someone was available. They are very attentive with regards to customer service. I should also note with their keycard system and network of entrances and hallways, I felt very safe. They care about security there and take proper, non-intrusive methods to make sure everyone is comfortable. I should also mention the facility is just beautiful. It's built within a very old church, there is a library, plants everywhere, a calming vibe throughout, and a quiet room for work or study.
BUNK is located in the North section of Amsterdam (Noord). Noord is the quieter part of Amsterdam, suburb feeling as opposed to the city vibe elsewhere. It's extremely easy to get to the Central area from here though. There is a ferry about a 10 minute walk away that takes you to the central area, as well as a tram a five minute walk away that takes you directly to Centraal Station.
I really hit a home run choosing this place, BUNK Amsterdam truly delivered the goods. Great building, great amenities, great staff, great restaurant, great location. I would recommend this to anyone traveling solo or as a couple/small group. Very small group. It's great to stay for a couple of days or a whole week. I loved my experience here and would stay again if/when I return to Amsterdam. Great place.

PPengguna TetamuAfter our Viking Rhine Cruise ended in Amsterdam, we planned to stay the night to check out the city. This hotel had the right combination of price, location, and amenities. We chose one of the 2nd floor suits which included a balcony for smoking. The room was located above the side street which was lined with sycamore trees so the balcony was screened by the branches—it was lovely. Noise level was not bad since this was not the tourist sector but it was still the city so it wasn’t quiet or dark. The room was spacious especially the bathroom. From the hotel we walked to the old city and passed several canals along the way. We didn’t wind up eating at the hotel but we did order from the bar and the bartender was friendly. The staff was friendly and called a cab for us in the morning to get to the airport. Would stay here again.

Hotel in lovely area, 15 min tram to the centre, good sized clean room - basic decoration. Very much a backpackers hotel/hostel vibe. Not for someone expecting a prestige type room for the price. There was a mini fridge in our room we found very useful. Cleaners and staff were great, iron was avaliable, and slept with little noise coming from neighbouring rooms. The place had a nice atmosphere with the music venue and studios on the ground floor. We were very worried after reading some bad reviews but relieved by our actual experience of a spotless room, fresh towels everyday and a fan in our room when it was warm. It still seems a little overpriced in comparison to hotels in other cities but I think its average when it comes to Amsterdam with limited accommodation options.

I was a little concerned about this hotel after reading so many bad reviews, but I decided to give it a chance, since the location and the price were so perfect. I was not disapointed. The staff was very friendly, the room, the sheets, towels and bathroom were really clean. I could point two negative things about this room: it was really small (which was no problem, I was alone) and my pillow was nothing but a folded blanket inside a pillow cover. Other than that no complains. Could definitely stay here again.
