The location of the hotel was good. It's walking distance from the central station and surrounded by many shops and restaurants. The staff were friendly and the receptionist even walked me to the lift. However, the layout of the hotel was a little weird as the lift to my room was a small one in a corner next to the carpark entrance. Wasn't a good impression given the amount paid for the stay. The room was small but the decor was pleasing and very comfortable. The toilet was of a good size and the shower was relatively wide. Breakfast provided at the hotel was good.

If it wasn't for the great staff at this hotel our Wedding Anniversary trip would have been ruined. Our little one (one of them) fell ill and we were not able to fly on the day that we had to. A big thank you to Christina from reservations and especially to the Manager Raluca. We were able to move our booking days and even got our room upgraded, this enabled us to enjoy what we thought would be a doomed 'getaway'. The hotel is a little dated but very centrally located, the service is definitely 5 star worthy and it had a great atmosphere and character to it. We also very much enjoyed the breakfast, which was versatile and tasty with the ever attentive staff. The highlight was the staff though, which went well beyond their 'call of duty' to accommodate us. From the people who dealt with our booking issues to the Bar Man who took his time to explain their whisky selection with a smile. We will continue using the Sofitel Chain due to the great experience we had at this location. I would though recommend that some sort of online booking tipping system is implemented or that at least the Hotel has a Cash Machine installed on the premises. I struggled to find Cash Machines that did not look 'odd' in the area and I would have liked to tip several individuals. I only managed to tip those at the bar, restaurant etc via my card. Thank you once again for providing such excellent Customer Service.

We went 4 nights in this hotel. Here are the pros and things to be aware of since I cannot think of true cons. Pros: -Pick up from the airport was very nice and super helpful. -The hotel is in a good location. Most sites are within walking distance. -We stayed in a Royal Suite. The room is huge, comfortable, has a kitchenette, is updated, and has a working air conditioner! The views of the canal are superb. -WiFi is good. -The breakfast is tasty and perfect to get you going for the day. -Staff is very friendly and helpful. They try to get to know you a little bit, which adds to a nice personal touch. Things to be aware of: -The hotel is small. Do not expect a large chain hotel. -Meal are not available after breakfast. -Air conditioning is not central. There are individual units in the room which can be noisy. We kept it on during the day. We did not need it at night. Overall, we had a great experience at this hotel. We will not hesitate to return. I don't know everyone's name (sorry), as I would like to say a more personal thank you to many people, but thank you to Emma. Also, thank you very much to Peter the Concierge, who helped us prior to our arrival, and during our stay. He has a ton of knowledge and a lot of helpful tips.

Art'otel is a family friendly hotel. It is centrally located and very close to the train station. We took the train from the airport to central station. The hotel was within a 5 minute walk. They let us check in early as our flight landed there in the morning. The hotel was very clean. The staff were very friendly and gave us great service. Breakfast was very good with a variety of options. Excellent espresso! We were able to walk to many of the attractions.

My partner and I stayed at INK hotel in Amsterdam in early July and to say that our stay was wonderful would be an enormous understatement! Not only is the hotel itself incredibly unique, creative and beautiful, the staff is unparalleled! Upon entering, we were greeted by Rob and Valerie who were both so welcoming, warm, informative and personable. It was my partner’s birthday during our stay and it was my desire to make it as special as possible. This was a daunting task as I am not familiar with Amsterdam nor do I speak Dutch. Thanks to Rob and Val, his birthday was a huge success! Val assisted me with the train routes, times and directions and both she and Rob provided me with creative ideas. Rob then made phone calls for me to inquire about reservations and tickets as I was having difficulty navigating websites written in Dutch. After a perfect day, we walked into a fabulously decorated hotel room with balloons, chocolate hearts, champagne, etc. It was absolutely amazing!! We have traveled around the globe, stayed in hundreds of hotels and never have we experienced such exceptional treatment by hotel staff!! We will definitely make sure to stay at INK on our next visit to Amsterdam and will recommend that all of our friends and family do as well. Thank you INK hotel for providing such excellence!!

The hotel is quite close to the central train station. It is also close to the Chinatown, the Rembrandt museum, the restaurants, and other touristy places. The staffs are friendly and helpful. There is a small restaurant on the first floor. There are also a small shelves with snacks and drinks behind the receptionist, so it’s quite convient to get some midnight snacks. The room has a nice size and it is very clean. The decoration is quite playful and modern similar to other Ibis hotel. The price is good for the location and the size of the room. However, the room is not very sound proof. It’s easy to hear the sound coming from other rooms and form the corridor. At this time, Holland does not require the mask anymore inside the hotel so it’s nice to feel back to how it was before the pandemic.

We stayed here during kingdays, it a very nice location. It's in near of every shop, restaurants club and etc. Very clean hotel. Came across with Housekeeping supervisor Cristina very friendly staff which we request extra towels and coffe and she delivered so fast. Breakfast was also okay. Downside about it that there no airco in the hotel so it can get hotel. But you can open the window which okay.. other than that I would recommend and definitely coming back.

Set right next to the best part of the city, Leidseplein which is very well connected to all the notable landmarks including walkable distance to both the Rijksmuseum and Van Gogh museum as well as the famous Voldelpark. The hotel has very modern interiors and all the facilities to make ones stay comfortable. The room and bathroom were very clean and spacious unlike the other European hotels. The hotel staff were courteous and helpful. There are 100's of restaurants serving all types of food and all are within walking distance from the hotel. Getting to Dam Square which is the shopping hub and Amsterdam Central station is just a single tram ride. Overall, the hotel is very clean and comfortable and nothing can beat the convenient location of this hotel.

Partiamo con i lati positivi: - posizione centrale, prezzo basso, cancellazione gratuita e non hanno preso caparra prima dell’arrivo. Ora cominciamo con quelli negativi: - lenzuola sporche (allego foto) - scale ripidissime (come tutte le strutte ad ams), ma con una valigia pesante diventa un problema - moquette in camera, non molto igienica - cambio degli asciugamani quasi ok (ne hanno lasciato solo uno pulito invece che due) - la colazione inizia alle 8:30, quindi se avete delle attività da fare presto non riuscirete ad usufruirne, ed inoltre non è abbondante e non adatta ai vegani - lo specchio in camera sopra il lavandino veramente troppo alto,dovevo mettermi in punta di piedi - il letto può andare bene per pochi giorni, ma si sprofonda - le camere NON sono insonorizzate (magari vi beccate qualcuno che si diverte come successo a noi) - non si può fumare in camera, ma ci sono le finestre che si aprono e comunque al bar fumano quindi sale tutta la puzza Per quanto riguarda il bagno in comune non abbiamo avuto problemi, profumava sempre di pulito e si chiudeva normalmente, non abbiamo mai trovato nessuno. Inoltre la “reception” è un bar/pub che però chiude comunque presto quindi non troverete molto ******.

When on a Business trip to Amsterdam I stayed just one night at ”Rosalia's Menagerie Inn Upstairs” and I loved it... It has just 6 individually styled boutique rooms and mine (a King bed double) was comfortable and provided everything I needed for my stay. The owner Rachel Bonnewell was lovely and treated me with warmth and kindness from check-in to check-out, she was the perfect host. I loved the unique and quirky decor and the personally prepared breakfast was delicious and a great start to my day walking Amsterdam. The hotel location was perfect also in Central Amsterdam, I literally walked everywhere during my 2 days in the City. My room was €150 per night with breakfast. The Inn is, as in the name, 'upstairs' and the stairs are typical of old Dutch houses in as much as climbing them is not for anyone who has ill health or any mobility issues... Note, there is no lift and the stairs are narrow, steep and twisty. I will certainly stay again and hope to do so in the Summer of 2024.

One night in Amsterdam. Staff were super helpful with printouts and recommending solutions to+o problems I had. The lobby had a super cool Chinese theme. You walk in past the kind of drawers set up I would expect in a traditional Chinese medicine shop in Hong Kong (where I live). Right next the train station and the price was surprisingly affordable. They have an 'honesty bar' with all kinds of snacks and beverages. A great stay!

Siamo stati ospiti dell'Ho(s)tel durante il nostro recente soggiorno e non potremmo essere più soddisfatti della nostra esperienza. Situato in pieno centro della città, questo hotel è stata la scelta perfetta per noi in termini di posizione e comodità. Abbiamo prenotato una camera per 8 nella quale abbiamo pernottato per tre notti in 7, lo spazio era più che sufficiente per noi e abbiamo potuto godere di una stanza luminosa e accogliente. La pulizia era impeccabile, con lenzuola pulite, asciugamani e un ambiente generale pulito e curato. Oltre alla camera, abbiamo apprezzato i servizi offerti dall'hotel, inclusi il personale cordiale e disponibile che ci ha assistito durante il nostro soggiorno. La posizione centrale ci ha permesso di esplorare comodamente la città, con tutte le principali attrazioni e ristoranti a breve distanza a piedi. Tutto perfetto! Valutazione massima più che meritata!

We spent 5 nights in the spa room on the top floor and had a great time. the location is within walking distance of everything that we wanted to see with lots of restaurants and pubs nearby. As almost everyone else reports, there is a lot of noise from the street but since everything closed down at midnight it wasn't too bad and it's really just the bustle of people not the noise of drunken brawls. the breakfast was at a nearby restaurant and was superb. The staff was always pleasant and helpful. The spa bath was nice to relax in after a long day of walking and eating and drinking!

Es un hotel básico, hablo por mi experiencia.... 3 camas individuales pequeñas suficientes para dormir, limpieza del cuarto aceptable, vistas del cuarto espectaculares, baños un poco feos, en resumen el hotel cumple para ser un lugar de descanso a medio día y salir de nuevo, y regresar a dormir, las escaleras si son incómodas pero toooddooosss los hoteles del centro de Amsterdam son así! Es arquitectura de casas q no se han modificado! Dejen de llorar! O dején De viajar con maletas inmensas que no las pueden cargar ni un piso, leo opiniones desbaratando al hotel por motivos personales que no son culpa del hotel. Si pueden mejorar cosas pero Amsterdam es caro y ofrece lo básico. O pueden hosped**** en el W o hoteles de 5 estrellas para que dejen de llorar. PARA MI EL HOTEL CUMPLE CON LO MINIMO PARA ESTAR BIEN.
