Hotel zonder ontbijt, lunch of avondmaal. Blijkbaar moest er toch nog toeristentaks betaald worden... Er is niet altijd iemand aanwezig in het hotel. 's Nachts heel wat lawaai omdat het hotel zich bevindt boven een café. Ook in de nabije omgeving heel wat cafés te vinden. Een héél steile trap waar je gemakkelijk van af donderd. Geen lift in het hotel. Weinig of geen info te vinden over bezienswaardigheden en dergelijke... We hadden een kamer met één raam met een donker gordijn ervoor. Het gordijn kon amper open getrokken worden. Je kon het raam ook moeilijk openen. Het raam gaf uit op een vuil achterkoertje...

Avoid at all costs. The worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. I emailed the day before booking asking for an early check in or somewhere to store my bags so I could walk around the city as I was arriving at 6am, but the owner said no, and they would not help me before 2pm. I asked could I cancel the booking so I could book somewhere with storage facilities and the owner said no cancellation s and then accused me of bullying. I was very confused and wasn’t sure if it was a joke so I called the hotel number. The manager refused to speak to me and kept hanging up. I’m really not sure how this place is still open but I’m guessing not much repeat business.

Would stay here again, staff very friendly & helpful. Bed was really comfortable and room really clean. Was a bit noisy as we had room on the front and on top of a bar but still didnt stop us from falling asleep. Im a great area to ive stayed in a few hotels around this area before. I would recommend this hotel.

This hotel has the worst customer service i had a room booked at the beginning of December unfortunately my flight got cancelled when i was on my way to the airport however managed to get another flight following evening! Emailed this hotel to let them know we still want the room that we had booked and paid for until the sunday! Get on flight the following night head to hotel its 8pm now ring the number provided to get keys and the women tells me they have given my room away and denied any knowledge of the email i sent that i also have proof off i also called numerous times with no one answering i would not book with this hotel they wont give me my money back awful all i wanted was a refund!!

The staff were very helpful as we needed to check in after they had left for the day, so we arranged to pick up the cards using the lock box. The room was nice, although if you have any mobility issues, you may find the typical Dutch steep staircases quite hard to navigate. The bathroom door didn't close properly but the staff explained how the old buildings in the area shift a lot and this was why. The AC was a little noisy and you heard footsteps on the stairs but other than that it was quite quiet (except a faint sound of music from nearby bars). For the price I am pleased with the accomodation and really liked the colour schemes and it was fantastic being so close to a town centre by Rembrantplein and plenty of places to go for food and drink nearby. It's also very close to tram links which is very handy.

Good sized rooms. Modern bathroom. Great style. Air conditioning. Clean. Just beware of steep steps.

The hotel was amazing, in a great location. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful! Would definitely come back to stay again.

As three 18 year olds the room was perfect and the location amazing, we were able to walk everywhere we wanted, and the beds were very comfortable. The only improvement I can think of is if there was another mirror included in the room, thanks for a lovely stay.

Stayed in the Deluxe Triple room which was very spacious even for 3 lads. Very clean and tidy and with everything you need. Located in a busy nightlife street. Stairs are very steep so bear that in mind if you are not great on your feet. We was looked after brilliantly by Sorina (what a superstar xx) who kept in touch with me on WhatsApp after our flight was cancelled and was 8 hours late getting into our room. I was given perfect instructions on how to access the hotel and our room, even at 3-30am. She even managed to secure us another room at another hotel when our flight home was also cancelled (avoid NOTSO EasyJet at all costs) so customer service, score out of 5, was 10!!!!

The Bolster is in a great location just off Rembrandtplein and a short walk from the flower market. A boutique style hotel that offers room only. The property is in the older narrow typical dutch style so beware of the stairs as they're steep and narrow! The Bolster is clean and tidy, offers value for money and the staff are lovely!

AVOID , paid 275e for a room for 1 nite, bed had blood stains on it, make up on the pillow covers, and white stains on the covers, disgusting and would not stay again. Contacted reception and sheets where changed but really not good enough. Place is a kip

Great hotel, staff is very nice. Stairs in the hotel are very steep.

The hotel was clean and the bed was very comfortable. My one reservation was that there are a lot of steep stairs, which felt unsafe with heavy luggage at times. Otherwise the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and I felt comfortable here
