Amsterdam Hostel Uptown

Trip.comの表示ではクレジットカード使用可能とありましたが、実際に現地で支払いの際にはVISAであってもクレジットカードの使用を拒否され、現金での支払いしか受け付けてもらえませんでした。そのスタッフの方の対応もあまり良くありませんでした。 部屋もコスパを考えれば納得ですが、清潔・便利とは言い難いホステルでした。

This hostel is for you if you are planning to stay less than 1 week, the good thing is located at the city centrum, you can easily walk to all the main atractions, the bad thing is there's no elevator to the rooms even to the front desk so, if you're travelling with big suitcases you'll have a harsh time tryingto get into your room, the stairs are so small, and something to work on is the fact that they only accept cash

The service here is 24 hours and excellent. Efficient at all times of the day. The rooms are cosy and comfy and it’s in an excellent area. Easy to get everywhere you need to go in the city. Would definitely recommend!!

I needed a last minute reservation because I felt so sick and could not go home. These people have been so nice and patient with me and my friends (who got sick aswell). It was late night already yet they have helped us out. Very nice staff. Thank you so much.

Walkable distance from the Rijksmuseum, got most of the way from Amsterdam Centraal by tram. Staff were friendly and helpful. Only stayed one night on Thursday in late July. No airconditioning but it was fine. Sheets were provided which was good. Shower and facilities worked fine although the dehumidifier was loud for a few minutes after anyone had switched the light on, so probably best to bring earplugs if you're sensitive to noise when you sleep. Some noise from the street but not overwhelming (again, Thursday in late July, and above a bar, so might be louder if you're visiting on a weekend given that it's above a street full of bars). Was travelling solo (am not a guy) but never felt unsafe. Cost 3 euros to leave my suitcase in the luggage area behind the reception for the day which I didn't know about before I got there. Stairs were incredibly steep and narrow, be careful if you have problems with your knees. Luckily the guy in reception helped me bring my suitcase down when I was leaving.

Decent location, nestled/shoved violently perfevtly inbetween two **** shops and reasonably central. HOWEVER, room wish bad, toilet even worse, shower water everywhere , litterally everwhere in the bathroom. Very small aswell, #nobidet Also no lockers, no air con, windows didnt work, uncomfortable beds, bad shower, tourist tax, confromtational staff, charged extra for paying by card. Definatly would not come again, run for your lives, good luck out there troops

I advise you never to stay in this hostel. You can be sure it's the worst in Amsterdam. the rooms stink and there is not even a kitchen. they're just stinky rooms. I repeat the rooms stink a lot. it should be forbidden to rent such bad accommodation

Very good place very good staff very good location near to everything

do 2 stelle solo perché la posizione è ottimale, vicino a una delle zone più frequentate e piene di locali di amsterdam. il posto, invece, è davvero tenuto male. la nostra camera era da 8 persone, in uno spazio davvero ridotto. le lenzuola sporche di ruggine, le finestre non si chiudevano bene, il bagno quasi cadeva a pezzi. il personale almeno è stato davvero gentile, ed è possibile usare un fornello microonde. preparatevi ad affrontare delle rampe di scale praticamente a 90 gradi😉.
