My recent stay at Embassy Suites was one of the most disappointing hotel experiences I’ve had. Upon arrival at 4:45 pm, we were informed that our room, which was supposed to be ready at 4:00 pm, wasn’t available. We had to wait until 5:20 pm to finally check in, which set a negative tone right from the start. When we got to the room, things only got worse. The air conditioning was practically non-functional, and the room remained uncomfortably hot throughout our stay, despite our efforts to adjust the thermostat. To make matters worse, every few hours, a strong sewage smell would waft up from the bathroom sink, making it nearly impossible to feel comfortable or relax in the room. The condition of the room itself was incredibly dated and dirty. The furniture was old and worn, the carpet was stained, and there was visible dust in several areas. It was clear that housekeeping had not thoroughly cleaned the room before our arrival. The rest of the hotel was in a similarly poor state—common areas were unclean, and the building just felt like it had been neglected for some time. In addition to the issues with the room, only two of the four elevators were functioning. This meant long waits and frustration just to move around the hotel, adding to the already subpar experience. After this frustrating stay, I submitted an official review and complaint directly to Embassy Suites. Unfortunately, I never received any communication or acknowledgment from the hotel regarding the issues I raised, which speaks volumes about their lack of customer service and commitment to resolving guest concerns. Overall, between the delayed check-in, broken A/C, sewage smell, uncleanliness, and lack of response from the hotel management, I can’t recommend staying here. Embassy Suites has seriously dropped the ball, and I won’t be returning.
