The elephant interaction in the morning was really great, and the buffalo were quite interesting too. The tent was also nice, but you have to share it with insects and frogs 😂 The gaps in the door and fabric are a bit large.

It will be a bit noisy at night. It is not recommended to stay in the rainy season because the road will be very steep. Those who like wild camping can choose

The hotel concept and public areas are great, and watching the sunset from the rooftop pool is a must. The service is very good, they will always see you after check-in and departure. but! Don’t go there in April or May. Even if you turn on the air conditioner in the room, it can’t be turned on. It’s so hot that you can hardly sleep. Meals are more expensive. Although many of the materials are grown by oneself, there are too few singletons.

The boutique hotel is very special. The room selection is very detailed and the service is also very good. But the food is very average, there are not many facilities, and there are no options nearby. The time spent in the hotel is relatively limited.

A very unique hotel. I paid extra to upgrade the suite. The suite has many services and facilities, including an outdoor bathtub, swimming pool, and lounge. The service was also super good. The main person who received us was a 23-year-old thin boy who was very enthusiastic and from the village. He told us a lot of stories and made us feel at home. I forgot to leave a tip when I left, I felt very sorry for his good service😂 Very featured hotel. We upgraded to suite. The facility is very comprehensive. The hotel service is great. A 23-year old boy who is quite slim served us. He was born and grew up in the village, and told us a lot of stories. We felt at home. We are sorry that we forgot to tip when we left😂 worth another visit!

Very good. The service is super good. The room is very unique. A perfect hotel I didn’t expect the swimming pool to be at a constant temperature. Super photo-taking The most important thing is that the dinner is super delicious Everything you order is delicious.

After two days of temples and tipples at Pub Street, The Beige was the perfect place to relax and unwind. It’s a good half hour from Siem Reap so know that there’s not much going on aside from nature and peace and tranquility - although an extensive list of trips are offered. Accommodation is among the best of its kind we’ve stayed in, proper down with nature and the elements, but super comfortable. The staff are simply amazing and are on hand to deal with any requests - even to capture the odd rogue spider. Food and drink isn’t cheap but the quality is second to none. Waking up watching water buffalos feasting on the grass right outside is another sight to behold!

We had a fantastic girlfriend getaway at The Beige. We loved our tent with the private pool and had a fun and relaxing time watching the buffalo. The staff was fantastic and really took care of us. We would love to return to the peaceful setting

We had a delightful stay at the BEIGE. The staff could not have been more attentive to our needs, giving us great recommendations on things to do, food to eat and making sure our room was really comfortable. Our 3 year old loved the marshmallow roasting activity and meeting Rambai the elephant! We also had the most fantastic tour of Angkor Wat and Bayon with Tom the tour guide. He had such a great knowledge of the history, knew the quiet routes around the temples (great photo spots) and customised the pace to cater to our 3 year old and pregnant wife. Not to mention his excellent English. Also, on the way back, we stopped off at a market and Tom picked up some apples for our son - his favourite fruit. Make sure you ask if Tom is available on your trip to Siem Reap!

Away from Siem Reap city, we ventured into the rugged outback and surrendered ourselves to a secluded rare gem. The Beige Siem Reap, owned by a Japanese couple, welcomed its guests to a safari-themed well-appointed exquisite tents overlooking a stretch of untouched nature! A gorgeous experience! Instant friendship was made with the super-attentive local staff, a male elephant (claimed to be the only remaining tusked-elephant in Cambodia ) who comes by to say hello and fed baskets of fruit during breakfast time, and a buffalo family of three :) Adorable bunch. A one-of-a-kind experience in Siem Reap ❤️

This hotel was such a cool unique experience to stay at. The rooms are very luxurious tents that feel like a hotel room on safari. (Don’t be intimidated— a few of my friends joining our party aren’t big fans of the outdoors and even they agreed it was a highlight of our vacation.) The tents have every amenity of a four star room. There is a charming elephant and 3 water buffalo that comes to greet guests every morning at breakfast. You can pet it and take pictures for free. The spa and infinity pool sits up in the treetops and you can see for miles over the jungle. The food and cocktails at the hotel were delicious. I recommend the frozen coconut rum special! The staff were friendly and completely accommodating. When I visit Ankor Wat again Im absolutely coming back to this hotel. Worth the money. *Definitely book the airport pick-up service with the hotel. The driver was so helpful getting us back and forth.

The Beige is a stunning Eco Resort, the design is spot on. Gorgeous tents, built on traditional Cambodian stone foundations. The fine design detail is everywhere to be seen. The prices are luxury prices, no big deal, after all, it is International level service in a remote jungle. We took the only villa with a private pool. We thought we were in Jungle heaven. Let’s step back a bit. We turned off the main road onto a local “Village Commune” road. This road was stuffed with potholes so we had a bumpy ride past a collection of magnificent houses set next to run down shacks. This should have been a clue to us that not all was well here near The Beige. Warning: There is only one road into the resort, so the village knows exactly when guests are arriving. Upon arrival, through the massive security gates, the duty staff greeted our airport pick up car, which, by the way, took us to all of the Angkor Wat temples before we arrived at the hotel. Check in was a breeze in the AC controlled glass reception. The welcome could not have been more impressive. The short walk to the Grand Tent revealed a truly magical jungle. We swam, watched the wildlife, napped on the swinging bed over the pool. Dinner was excellent, the wine list held classic surprises from the globe. The fire pit near the marsh sent us off to dream land. THIS IS WHERE THE DREAM TURNED INTO A HOLIDAY NIGHTMARE! At 6am, a local, described as a “Crazy young man” by the staff, began to play from the west of the resort, loud pounding, repetitive bass music on a loop. This went on until 11am. Next day, 7am the noise started again. (See photo attached of the 2 massive Rock Concert size speakers aimed directly at the resort from the village) A serious complaint was made to the staff who earlier had told us “There are ear plugs in the tents as Cambodians like to party.” We were to discover the truth during breakfast, this was not a party, this is an alleged extortion racket against the hotel. It was alleged that the “Crazy Man” who lives near The Beige, plays this looping bass music until the hotel calls the Police. The “city” staff told us they have to meet with the “local” leaders of the Commune Village to gently get the music turned down. The hotel give the Police cash, this goes who knows where, the music stops for a while. There is a second local who plays music that bombs the resort with noise from the East, although, it is actual music and not as loud as the repetitive looping noise that “Crazy Man” plays. We had 6 hours of full waking silence on the first day. 2 hours on the second day (before checkout) to enjoy the natural sounds of the jungle. 8 hours out of 48! The resort was empty, we were the only guests there, all the other tents were empty, now we know why. The hotel has a Standard Operating Procedure to deal with these sound pollution attacks. The atmosphere was peaceful, and the staff were friendly and flexible, making for a very enjoyable stay. I requested tours and guides in advance. They also arranged airport pickup and a visit to the Beng Mealea and Koh Ker ruins (even before check-in, lol). Thanks to them, I was able to make the most of my limited time. It was pouring rain the morning before the Angkor Wat sunrise tour, but they kindly suggested I change my plans to a city tour the next day. While there was no guarantee the weather would clear the next day, I accepted their kind offer. The next morning, the sun was shining brightly, and I was able to see the magnificent upside-down Angkor Wat and sunrise. I also went to the city, but it was so busy, I'm honestly glad I didn't stay there. The Beige is far from the city, and it's not exactly convenient. Since I was traveling to relax away from the hustle and bustle, convenience wasn't really an issue. I spent the night in a luxury tent, explored the ruins, took a dip in the pool, and then went back to sleep. It was a truly wonderful resort that offered everything I needed.
