Stayed that this hotel for one night with a friend and we were not disappointed. Check in was smooth and Khalid who checked us in was friendly, polite and professional throughout. He asked if we preferred a high or low floor and also checked that we wanted a twin room as booked. The room was very clean, with a view though the twin beds were very narrow but ok for one night. The bathroom was very clean, with fluffy towers and a powerful shower. Tea & Coffee were provided with biscuits and bottled water as well. Breakfast was as expected and we were given a breakfast slot when we checked in so all good. All the staff were professional and the hotel is adjacent to the Opera house and about 7 minutes from the main train station. The location is great as away from the noise and round the corner from the main shopping area. I would stay here again when I return to Antwerp and recommend staying here! .

Mooi en gezellig hotel gelegen in een leuke buurt. Wij namen het U enjoy arrangement waarbij een 5 gangen diner is inbegrepen. We hadden een heel mooie kamer, goed geïsoleerd en perfect verduisterd. Het diner was heerlijk en de bediening top, heel leuke sfeer. Het ontbijt wordt aan tafel bediend en is zeer verzorgd. Kortom, zeker een aanrader!

My stay in this modern hotel was good. The check in was smooth. As the rooms are equipped with a system of electronic cards, it can be a bit complicated if your card isn’t activated (that was my case). The lift doesn’t move if your card isn’t activated. The room was standard, with a modern shower. Consider that the room isn’t cleaned every day. In my case, a 2-night stay, the room was cleaned at all. The releasing of “preserving the environment” is a bit too easy. The hotel saves a lot of money, but the price remains the same :-( Breakfast was good, either a variety of continental food.

We stayed at the hotel for a weekend in one of the Julien Experience Rooms. We like a minimalist yet good design style, so this hotel was what we prefer. The living room, the bar and a small courtyard are very nice and a place to relax. The hotel is quite small and cozy, and it is tucked away in a side street, so it feels a bit like home. The photos on the website are true to what you can expect. The service was great. We arrived early and were able to have a chacuterie at one o'clock. We were given a list of well selected places to visit. The restaurant recommendation was booked for us. We stayed late the last day and our luggage was taken care of. The breakfast was not huge, but very good, and things are prepared to order if you want. Overall, we liked the professional yet personal and friendly style in a small hotel. Our hotel room overlooked one of the small courtyards, so it was not very bright. This is good for the summer, but when it is not hot, I might look for a room with windows to the street, as the street is rather quiet. We would definitely come back.

Talk about an amazing hidden gem! WOW! Wonderful hotel, very helpful staff and the room, gardens and breakfast made this over the top nice. Location was a little tricky due to construction but within easy walking distance to the square, very close to cool cafes and restaurants. Bed was super cozy and the private garden was just what I needed after a long flight. They have a cash bar near the front desk, the breakfast was so amazing -fruits, charcuterie, waffles, honey, fresh oj, coffee, cereal, yoghurt...etc etc. Definitely a great hotel!

We (couple) took an apartment with separated room, and it was roomy and very quiet. Everything was clean, and almost as important, new (2023). I asked in my reservation for a second duvet for the bed, as my better half is a duvet-hogger, and it was there when we arrived. It was a double width too, so we ended up with lots of duvet on the bed, but as the bed was wide enough, that was no problem. The pillows where a bit high for our taste. There were three to choose, and the thinnest one was just on the line for us, but we slept all right. Bed is confy, with that ”thick mattress with thin mattress on top” concept. Movement from one side to the other travels more that in a full viscoelastic mattress, but less than in a spring one, so it was ok for us. The hotel has two buildings, connected by a first-floor gangway with apartments on the sides. We got an apartment, the number 111, that was in that connection, and it was really quiet, the windows looking to some inside court, rather wide, and I think no neighbouring apartments at all. We went at the time of some big festival in Antwerp, and we heard nothing either from outside or from the neighbours. Only drawback of this particular room is that the bathroom is adapted for wheelchairs, so the shower is covered by just a curtain and with a couple of supports that restrict movement a bit, but that was a minor inconvenience for us. On the plus side, the bathroom was really big. We liked the decoration, and the lighting possibilities too. The oven is a combination microwave-grill, and was clean too, as I say, everything is rather new so that can change with time. All in all, a very good experience.

Ttiml11This is a fantastic place to stay. Beautifully designed with cool cosmopolitan rooms. A nice touch was the Le Labo toiletries in the bathroom. The rooms are quiet and the bar and dining areas super cool. Would make a great hotel for a couple on a citybreak. An underground car park is useful if a little expensive.

Wow -- since the amazing renovations the place is spectacular. I've been to this hotel countless times and it seems to improve each year. So many of the staff have been with them for many years, and they couldn't be better, right down to the lovely Julie in housekeeping. This hotel offers so many amenities, it's so visually beautiful, the service is exceptional and I can't wait to return very soon! The location can't be beat, with gorgeous views of the park and walking distance to all the major attractions.

A great hotel. My husband and I stayed for a long weekend (4 nights) and were very pleased that we chose Hotel O Kathedral. The location was excellent - within walking distance of many of the sights, as well as easy access to the underground and trams. Our room was comfortable, clean and stylish, with a lovely view of the cathedral. The bed was comfortable. There was enough storage space for our clothes etc. We were a bit uncertain about the bath/shower being in the bedroom. But no need to worry, privacy can be protected with a very effective curtain around the bath. The toilet is in its own cubicle. There is a cafe/bar downstairs in which breakfast is served. We only had coffee and croissant but the breakfast buffet looked very good. The staff deserve a special mention. They were very friendly and attentive. They were extremely helpful when we asked them for help with a problem we had. One note of caution. The area around the hotel has many restaurants and bars and can get noisy at night, particularly at the weekends. We slept very well, but light sleepers might benefit from earplugs, which are supplied by the hotel.

The airconditioning didn’t work and it was pretty humid and warm at night.
I reserved a room for myself and a friend one month in advance for an event in Antwerp Sportpaleis. When we arrived at the hotel, we discovered it was not twin separate beds.
The receptionist was rude and wasn’t helpful to change the room to separate twin beds. He made us wait until 1:30 AM in the morning to change into a twin bed room instead of one queen size bed.
Please be more flexible and customer first minded.

Good quality 'pod system' coffee machine. Nice quality free toiletries. Not a lot of space for sitting / chilling and the bar shut at 8, but not a major issue as places to eat and drink til midnight within 50 yards, yet still quiet.. Three stars and better than the ( rubbish ) four star we left in Brussels. Would recommend this hotel

The room was pleasant, quiet, with all the utilities needed to live there and the services exceeded my expectations. The room was at the 5th floor, on the back side of the hotel. Initially I stayed in a room at the 2nd floor on the street side, there the noise was louder, but at the back side of the hotel it's quiet. The cleaning of the room was made twice a week. At the reception anytime I had questions the staff was friendly and kind to give guidance. After the check out the warranty deposit was refunded after one working day.

RResort19396233295Ik verbleef onlangs in dit hotel in de buurt van Antwerpen Centraal en het centrum en ik was zeer tevreden met mijn verblijf. De locatie was perfect, dicht bij het treinstation en het bruisende stadscentrum. De buurt was ook erg netjes en veilig. Het personeel is uiterst vriendelijk en behulpzaam, waardoor ik me meteen welkom voelde. De kamers waren ruim en comfortabel, met alle voorzieningen die ik nodig had. Het was heerlijk om na een lange dag verkennen terug te komen naar een schone en gezellige kamer. Ik kan dit hotel zeker aanbevelen aan iedereen die op zoek is naar een aangenaam verblijf in Antwerpen. Ik kijk ernaar uit om hier in de toekomst weer te verblijven!
