My recent stay at the Mandarin Oriental Muscat was overall enjoyable, with several notable highlights. The hotel’s location near the beachfront is fantastic, offering stunning views of Muscat and the surrounding mountains. The interiors are beautifully designed, featuring natural materials that create a luxurious and calming atmosphere.
The rooms were ultra-comfortable, with excellent beds and top-quality linens that made for a great night’s sleep. I also appreciated the thoughtful in-room amenities, including good tea, a Nespresso machine, and water in glass bottles—a healthy and eco-friendly touch.
The shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner provided were of great quality, and the dental kits were decent. However, I did notice that some toothpaste tubes weren’t fresh, as the paste had become solid and dry in a few sets. Additionally, the shaving kit was of the cheapest level, which didn’t align with the otherwise high standards of the hotel.
Breakfast was good but not quite up to the level typically expected from Mandarin Oriental. There’s definitely room for improvement here, but I believe this is something the hotel will refine over time. The staff were polite and professional, which added to the overall positive experience.
Considering the hotel is still new, I’d rate the overall experience, including the price/value ratio, as 3.5 out of 5. I’m confident that with time, the hotel will address these minor gaps and elevate the experience to match the impeccable standards the brand is known for.

I have stayed more than 5 times at this hotel in 2024 . The facility location is strategic. Close to common places of work. What is more important is that the neighborhood is quiet. The garden out side add to the beauty of the facility. To top it all is the amazing staff. During my many stays, I never saw them without a smile. They were always there to help us to make our stay as comfortable as possible. To name a few, I would like to thank especially to AbdulMajeed, Rayan, Idrees, Mohammad at the reception, and the entire staff of breakfast lounge.
I can say with confidence that this place gives the traveler the best value for the money.

A business hotel but ok for couples. Quiet but that was good. Connected directly to the grand mall. Made it easy to go to the mall restaurants. Staff were friendly but because hotel was quiet, lacked atmosphere. Restaurant was good and staff were very professional, polite and helpful. Food was good but choice was shy, although i would say adequate. Room amenities were good although although i had to request additional bathroom items as they had only put out for 1 person. So no gown, no slippers, etc, but was resolved. Cleanliness was good but could be improved on. Room was great and roomy. We had the Exec suite. Pool was very good and quiet so was fun to use given its not a big pool. Hotel location was good given everything in muscat is spread apart, but taxi costs kill you.

I had a wonderful time in Intercity hotel bawshar!
It is located within a 3 mins drive to the newest mall in Oman - Mall of Oman. The hotel offers a shuttle to bring you to Mall of Oman at specific times. You can ring them to arrange for a pick up back to the hotel when you are done shopping and dining!
It's near the airport and all the main tourist attractions. The hotel is new, bed is super comfy and the housekeeper Perera and the staff in the restaurant like Aamir make you feel absolutely at home.
It's a small hotel but it has a gym and a pool with one restaurant.
Would strongly recommend this hotel!

I loved my stay at the Sheraton Oman. The staff were wonderful- they bent over backwards to help us.
I had a couple minor issues with my room, and they came as soon as I informed them, and were fixed immediately. One of the housekeepers picked up the robe I’d been using when they were cleaning and when I asked for a replacement they brought 2 more! They were happy to bring me extra nespresso pods and milk a couple times too.
The restaurant staff were so attentive and helpful- Tharindu, Pravda and Khalid and the chef, Krishna- they brought us out coffees and juices at breakfast and made sure I had everything I needed. They allowed my friend and I to eat off the a la carte menu at dinner instead of the iftar menu, since the other hotel restaurants were closed for Ramadan; and when we said we had to leave early at 5am for our flight they packed a lovely to-go box with pastries, fruit, coffee, juice and eggs.
I personally really appreciated that the gym was open 24 hours so I could work out before breakfast, and the equipment was pretty good for a hotel gym!
My only note for other travelers would be that the hotel is a little far from some of the touristy sights of Muscat. Also, there aren’t many alternative food options around the hotel. But the hotel itself has lots of great options so for us it worked out absolutely fine.

Good, clean hotel! Very near airport. Room service was good. Close enough to main road to try and get normal taxis. Really nice pool with a better than expected infinity pool and view. Really nothing much to complain if I just wanted a well priced, well sited, clean and adequate hotel with a bar, pool, and gym.
Service apartments (what I stayed in) are more functional than the main rooms and have more space but puzzlingly, other than the dining table, there’s no study table or dresser or mirror in the bedroom which is a tad annoying as you can’t connect the hair dryer in the toilet for obvious reasons
Aesthetic is somewhat sterile though. No interesting design motif and looks rather bland but that doesn’t affect me as much. There’s a bar there although the design, again, doesn’t leave one feeling as if it’s Friday night out.

阿曼這家Jumeirah一定是迄今為止住過的最滿意的，全家都讚不絕口。難得對一家酒店從硬件、服務、環境全方位都能給出滿分，真心就是無可挑剔。工作人員都很熱情，有求必應，房間非常乾淨整潔，一切都太美好了
酒店選址選在了一片天然巖石和海灘邊，環繞在山海之下，艷陽之中，大自然將酒店融入一片自然景色之中。當進入到房間被眼前的海景驚艷到了，透過落地窗，將自然的情趣作為室內空間的視覺延伸，把大自然的靈氣帶入到室內的氛圍中
住在這裏足不出户都不會覺得單調，可以隨時去到酒店泳池和海灘，在躺椅上點一杯飲料享受日光浴，或者在大海里暢遊，舒適又自在

PPengguna TetamuIt was terrible experience I had on this property (citadine al ghubrah muscat) I was traveling almost 24hours for holiday vacation, I selected this hotel to stay since near by the aiport, unfortunately I chosen the wrong hotel, upon check- in the lady receptionist asking me a full payment for the stay, I have no enough cash omr. But I have $ dollars with me, the total cost of my stay is only omr. 22 I have 15 omr and the rest 7 omr. I will pay by dollars, I informed the lady receptionist that I will pay the rest with $ dollars, she said that the hotel will not accept $ dollars, I was explained to her that I just came from the aiport and I was so tired shall I pay the rest by evening I have to exchange my dollars outside, or my cousin will come by evening and pay the rest of the amount cost of only omr. 7 or else I will quarantine my id or passport to keep , I will exchange the dollars outside by evening , but she refused me to check in, now I realize the discrimination /criticism,I decided to walk out and check in to other hotel, thank God other hotel very considerate not even asking the deposit even id's qurrantee, will I hope other guest will not experience the same treatment that I had experience , you have to improve your hospitality and service, especially front office staffs, never ever to booked this hotel anymore,many hotel choices in Muscat. Thank you and have a good day!

I had the most wonderful stay at this hotel, truly a gem among all my travels. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with the warmest smiles and the kind of genuine hospitality that makes you feel immediately at home. The staff here are not just doing their jobs—they are excelling at them, with an evident passion for making every guest's experience exceptional. Every detail of my stay was attended to with care, and it's clear that the team takes great pride in their work. It's rare to feel so valued as a guest, but at this hotel, you truly feel like you matter. They go above and beyond to ensure your comfort and satisfaction, creating an atmosphere of warmth and welcome that is hard to find. I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to Front office team who made our stay particularly memorable. Each of you brought something special to my experience, and your kindness and dedication did not go unnoticed. You are all extraordinary, and I am deeply grateful for everything you did to make my stay unforgettable. This has been one of the best hotel experiences I've ever had, and I look forward to returning in the future. To anyone considering a stay here, I can't recommend it highly enough—prepare to be treated like royalty!

PPengguna TetamuAverage given the maintainance issues in the bedroom and bathroom. The chair was broken, the ironing board was broken and the light switches were behind the pillows... in the bed itself. There was also tape maintaining the shower head. The terrace was also locked with no key and it was filthy, and the power outlet on the desk was level with the desk so some plugs were unable to fit. Parts of the curtains were also left hanging where they are not intended to be and no shampoo was provided. A lot of classic aesthetic over practicality mistakes, as evidently this building complex was designed with curb appeal and the interiors are quite lavish. I appreciated the low music playing in the corridors and the array of different call and service buttons in the bedroom too. Though totally unnecessary, I also appreciated the 4 elevators and the staff seemed also to be nice enough. Overall, no problems for short stays, but I probably wouldn''t return again.

We were a couple, staying in the apartment for 6 days @omr 10 per day. A large double bed, fluffy pillows,well-lit spacious, spotlessly clean and airy sound -proof room, huge wardrobes, AC worked well, smart TV with high speed wifi and prompt service both from the receptionists and housekeeping staff- all served to make it a comfortable and pleasing stay. Thank you Al Murooj ! On most days, we were attended to by Mr Chandra of the housekeeping staff who was very professional and helpful. A kettle is available in the room , no tea or coffee supplied, no microwave available; staff were willing to warm up food on request. Bath toiletries supplied; no restaurant in the hotel. We got our food delivered from a nearby hotel and there are some coffee shops around and a turkish restaurant below. Nearest mall is around 5 minutes walking distance. Ample parking available.

I have stayed as part of company work in Safeer suites which is near to Oasis mall and location is well accessible. Front office staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and Spacious and free wi-fi is available. Need to improve amenities like TV, Bathroom fittings etc.
