A group of friends chose to spend the night at Khaled's camp after an exciting day in Wadi Rum. Incredible place out of time and breathtaking views. Khaled's organization turned this trip into a real adventure and an unforgettable experience. The jeep ride, the rocks - a challenge for every mountaineer, the rock paintings, along which you feel like a real discoverer. And the sunsets ... Oh, God, the sunsets are the most beautiful you've ever seen, which you can watch from purpose-built angles throughout the field. Wonderful food and atmosphere and most of all Khaled's personal attitude who quickly became our friend.

I went to Khaled's camp for one week and my stay will forever be ingraved in my memory. The feeling of being in the middle of the desert and being welcomed by Khaled's crew is truly unique. I can only recommend it, don't miss out on such a rich experience. The food is amazing, the tents and facilities are great but most importantly the view is breathtaking and the location inside the Wadi Rum protected area is ideal!

If I had to sum up my stay at Khaled's Camp in one word, it would be "unforgettable." From the moment I arrived at this oasis in the heart of the desert, I knew I was in for a truly unique experience. First, let's talk about the sky. I've seen some beautiful skies in my life, but nothing quite compares to the celestial masterpiece that unfolded above Khaled's Camp every night. The stars seemed to twinkle with an extra dose of magic, as if they were putting on a show just for us lucky campers. I spent countless hours lying on the sand, gazing up at the vast expanse above, feeling like I was floating in a sea of constellations. It was the kind of sky that makes you contemplate the mysteries of the universe and your place in it. But as much as I could have happily stargazed for days on end, there were also the red mountains to explore. These impressive rock formations are like nature's sculptures, rising majestically from the desert floor. Hiking through the rugged terrain, I felt like an intrepid explorer uncovering hidden treasures in the desert's folds. The views from the summits were nothing short of breathtaking. Speaking of adventure, Khaled's Camp offers a range of exciting tours that cater to all tastes. During my stay, I chose to kick things off with a heart-pounding 4x4 desert tour, where our skilled driver expertly navigated the challenging terrain, making it feel like an exhilarating roller coaster ride. The following day, I embarked on a tracking tour, which allowed me to immerse myself in the desert's unique flora and fauna. It was a refreshing change of pace, and I learned so much about the incredible resilience of desert life. And I can't forget to mention our incredible tour guide, Sallam. He was not only our guide and driver but also a lunch chef and an amazing photographer. Sallam's multi-talented skills added an extra layer of enjoyment to our desert adventures, capturing both the beauty of the landscape and the essence of our memorable journey. On the last morning of my stay, I joined a camel trek, a serene and contemplative journey through the desert. Riding those majestic creatures through the sandy landscape felt like stepping back in time. They make for excellent photo companions and offer a different perspective on the desert's beauty. Now, let's talk about the camp itself. It's a true desert gem, blending seamlessly with the landscape. The tents are comfortable, cozy, and surprisingly well-equipped for a place in the middle of nowhere. It was the perfect blend of rustic charm and modern amenities. Of course, no review of Khaled's Camp would be complete without mentioning the food. The meals were not only delicious but also a testament to the culinary skills of the camp's team. Dining under the starry sky, surrounded by the desert's silence, made each meal feel like a special occasion. Last but certainly not least, I have to give a shout-out to our host, Khaled. Stunning location. We booked a deluxe double tent with bathroom which we combined with a four hour 4x4 experience and a camel ride the next morning. The tents have a really comfy, big bed. The bathroom is basic but has everything you need. The location is secluded so you get great views. The food is delicious and plentiful - even for a vegetarian! Great communication and everything went very smoothly. 100% recommend - great value too!

This was the first website I came across when looking for camps in the wadi rum and I kept coming back to it. I'm so glad I did. We arrived at 10.30 and did the day tour through the desert stopping at various places. I had broken a rib 2 days before and the lovely guide Ahmed told me at each stop whether he thought I would be able to manage the climb or walk which was very kind. The camp itself is well laid out with great views, plentiful tea and soft drinks. It consists of tents made from traditional bedouin goat hair. There are naive tents with beds and camp style toilet and shower block or for a ittle bit extra you can stay,  like we did, in one with a little toilet and shower room. These tents have a full glass wall with great views over the desert. The bed was comfy and warm. There's a plug socket and lights. The stars shine bright at night. The main tent is where you eat a delicious meal in the evening cooked underground in a zarb. This communal tent is very comfy and warm with floor and table seating, take your pick. Khaled himself is a lovely guy with wise words and a great sense of humour. You leave your car in his compound in rum village safe and secure. In the morning there was breakfast and we went for the 3 hour camel trek back to the village, if you're not used to riding a camel I think the hour camel ride would be a good option but we loved it! All in all I can't recommend the whole experience enough. Khaled and his team are great.
