Arbatax Park Resort - Telis

If your looking for a clean hotel with helpful staff and a great breakfast then do not stay here. The room utterly outdated, smelled, toilet flusher didn’t work, an ant infestation in the bathroom between the tiles, bed completely worn out and floor tiles missing. When I complained to reception staff was ignored and when I asked to speak to management was ignored further . Wasted my afternoon, couldn’t wait to leave . No internet in the rooms, breakfast probably get better in prison. Real shame . There was one member of staff who was lovely and extremely apologetic.

I went to Arbatax Park Resort with my wife, our 7-years old child and my 83-years old mother-in-law. On the advice of their sales office, we booked ourselves into Telis hotel, one of their sub-areas, which are all in the Arbatax Park resort. The reason they advised us to do so was that were were travelling with our mother, who has some trouble walking. We asked for a family room with location suitable for someone with disability and they assured us over the phone that we will be fine. We picked Arbatax because of their ego credentials, as indicated by their 2022 World's Leading Eco Resort title and their 4* rating, plus their Spa credentials etc. Upon our arrival, we found ourselves in an old, shockingly dirty and badly maintained place, with disgusting food, rude and badly trained staff and absolute disregard for basic guest needs. We found that Telis and Arbatax are not only not able to accomodate order and handicapem guests with their 80-ties design and stairs everywhere, but are also teribly dirty, falling apart due to lack of any maintenance and frankly unsafe for guests due to basic hygene and public spaces safety issue. I could elaborate for hours about their different and numerus fails during our curtailed stay there (we decided to check out after four days, despire having paid for eight), the most glaring problems being trash everywhere, 90 min check-in wait, inability to get in any civilised way to their spa (the only option being getting there in smelly Diesel old bus with open top after 30min wait for the said bus, travelling in half-hourly intervals), inability to offer any transport assistance within the resort to our 83 years old mother, ugly and dirty pools and common areas, shockingly bad food etc etc. Instead I will lat attached photos speakerem for themselves. THIS IS A TERIBLY DIRTY HOTEL NOT DESERVING 4* RATING BY ANY MEANS. IT SHOULD BE CLOSED ON SANITARY GROUNDS. STAY AWAY.

The Resort is beautiful and beautifully located, but the advertisements are very misleading and the service is horrible. When we booked our room, the description of the room and the pictures shown were very different than what we received. When we asked for an explanation at the Front Desk, we were told that this is Marketing. Marketing is obviously not sending out false information! The Front Desk staff was extremely unhelpful and even rude at times. They clearly don’t know about customer service. When we asked to speak to management, this was being denied. We received no information about facilities at the Resort. We had to ask for everything and the information was unclear. The distance to different places at the Resort is long with lots of hills. We were not informed of this in advance and no help is offered to get to places. If you are not physically fit this is not doable. One of us was unable to go down to the beach. If you arrive by car it has to be parked at the other side of the Resort which is a 10 min walk. If you want to leave the Resort, you need to either walk to your car 10 min, or wait for a ride, which can take up to 30 min. We have worked in the hotel business and costumer service for many years and this is the worst experience we have had. A very badly managed resort with extremely poor customer service. I would not recommend anyone to go here!

We were attended by Sau Federica and Maurizio Mascia. They were extremely unhelpful and Sau Federica was even rude. They made us wait unnecessarily and didn’t do anything to try to understand or find a solution for our concern. Extremely bad customer service. When we asked to speak to a manager, this was being denied. Our toilet wasn’t working properly and the shower got plugged, which was never taken care of. Besides this we received no information about facilities at the Resort. We had to ask for everything and the information was unclear. We were lucky to receive some help from Simone, one of the drivers, at times when we needed to reach places. He was very attentive. Other than this there were also lots of lovely staff members working at the restaurants and bars. We have worked in the hotel business and costumer service for many years and this is the worst experience we have had. An extremely poor customer service and very bad management. I would not recommend anyone to go here!

In a beautiful location, but the apartment did not meet expectations. The pictures do not match. The 4-person apartment was supposed to have two bedrooms, but it didn't. The room was so small that it wouldn't even have fit travel clothes in the room. We were finally able to change the room from a suite to a cabin. Even the places are out of order. The handle was missing from the door and the phone didn't work. Bad and unfriendly customer service, the woman just yelled at us when we allegedly went to the wrong restaurant, even though they directed us there themselves. Breakfast place full of wasps. The worst place I've ever been, the village is like a prison full of funding.

Described as a 4 star hotel but realistically is between a 2 and 3 star apartment complex. It does not have the facilities of a hotel. Advertises mini bar (you get a small fridge), TV (which they finally sorted aster 5 days at the resort, Terrace (one plastic chair), no phone in room, no service to rooms at all. Very steep hills and 50 steps up to our apartment. Certainly not suitable for elderly or those with young children. Service staff in the resort are very helpful but the park is totally let down by the staff on reception. Rude and totally unhelpful except for one girl who was very professional and helpful. Described as bilingual which is completely inaccurate. Very disappointed with the misleading promotion of this complex and would certainly not recommend

I had a trip to Sardinia Arbatax Park Resort on 18th on Sep 2023. It was for 1 week. When we arrived to the Resort we had a nice welcome from the staff, then they took us to the room, it was nice and spacious room, after a while we noticed that, they didn't give us some cosmetic products that they were promoting on the check in of the room. we were feeling very disappointed because on the website they were saying if you choose a better room, you are able to get those products. So then the next day we went to the restaurant area for breakfast and it was OK, we found variety of food and many drinks choices. In the evening we came back for buffet dinner, so we were feeling very disappointed because of the drinks choices. People were only allow to have water, white wine and beer. If you would like to have something else you might need it to buy at the restaurant bar, and it was so expensive like; £3 fizzy drink. Also the outddor tables near pools were durty and toilets weren't too clean. Over all the rooms were OK, Pools very nice and clean, outdoor space beautifull, staff friendly and Animal Park very beautiful. I can recommend this Resort, the only thing I was very unhappy, is that there wasn't many drink choices at the restaurant buffet at lunch and dinner time, That's all. Thanks you very much.

The place has high potencial, the beach near Dune is wonderfull...accomodation is average, the room is older, beds not comfortable...the restaurant is average too..we we're there in low season, so it's ok, not croweded...
