First I want to say that the ******* we experienced were taken into account by the hotel manager upon checkout and I really wish I could give 5/5 Good things include the amazing location and grounds. The building itself if stunning and decorated beautifully. We even managed to check in hours before normal time. However it lacks the finesse for a full 5* experience. We had to seek out staff for service for food and drink every time. We also had to search for spa staff too. The spa is ‘basic’and is over priced by local comparison. The TV in our room didn’t work. We also asked for help with one of the sockets in the room which never arrived. Room wasn’t the cleanest (floors and finger marks). There are a number of small but nonetheless important lacking details for the cost of the hotel that you would expect covered.

The location of the hotel is perfect, easy to find parking and walk to the hotel. Close to some very good restaurants in the centre of town. The hotel staff were particularly helpful, when we asked for suggestions for places to visit or calas to sunbathe. Indeed we suggested the receptionist was better than Google! For breakfast you can order many things: I recommend the toast with avocado and anchovies. The charming lady will make it there and then for you. Overall we had a wonderful week there.

We arrived before our apartment was ready and had an hour to kill, so went for something to eat at the pool bar, the food was not good, stone cold chips and a bacon coloured chicken burger, pizza that looked like a tortilla with cheese, which made us decide to give the resort food a miss. Keys collected and into the apartment, we were in Caleta Playa very close to the beach, with a fantastic view and a west facing balcony. The apartment was basic, 2 rings, toaster, microwave remember to take a sharp knife and coffee cups the room is only supplied with espresso cups. don't worry about towels or toilet paper the house keeping lady came everyday. Small shop on site and better shop about 7mins away. This is a remote place with very little nearby everywhere is a walk, bus or taxi, Cuitadella which 30 mins walk or 5 euro's in a taxi is a must, also good bus service. PROS, beautiful area super close to beach and clear sea. Plenty of sunbeds and 7 pools at the resort. Both bedroom and living area had AC House keeping everyday. Nearest bar is about 5 min's away ODEUM which is very nice with a Pizza van on site. Free security box helpful reception staff more than happy to get a taxi CONS, it's used and could really do with some investment, limited equipment in the apartments. Very poor Wifi Very limited for food and drinks near hotel.

WOW what a wonderful place.The location was perfect.The manager and staff could not be faulted. They were so friendly and helpful.The cleaning staff were excellent and happy.Breakfast was enough to set you up for the day and staff were always topping up the selection. The local entertainment of people jumping into the sea from the rocks to the early nude swimming group was a bonus. Au vu de certains commentaires, j'étais un peu septique, notamment au niveau de l'insonorisation. Et bien, je suis très agréablement surprise car la résidence est très calme (nous sommes en juillet), très bien tenue par le Manager qui est présent et contribue à ce que tout se passe bien. Nous avions demandé une chambre au calme et ce fut le cas. Le personnel est hyper gentil et efficace. Résidence très propre et l'appartement aussi. Les lits sont faits à l'arrivée, ce n'est pas en supplément, et les serviettes sont changées en milieu de séjour. Les bruits de chaises que l'on peut entendre sont vraiment liés au fait que les gens ne font pas attention... Elle est située à 100 mètres d'une petite crique avec 3 bars et restaurants et idéalement située de tous commerces et de Cuidadela qui est magnifique. Le restaurant de la résidence est fermé mais finalement ce n'est pas gênant. Parking cher, 9€/jour et sans ombre...On arrive à se garer dans la rue. Il manque un grille pain et des cuillères à soupe. En tous cas, c'est la première résidence Pierre et Vacances que je vois aussi bien tenue ! Bravo !

First visit to this hotel, we had a lovely stay. The room was spacious and very comfortable. Food was good and for my husband it was above and beyond our expectations. He's vegan and occasionally finds hotel food choices limited. Not the case here- the chefs freshly cooked full vegan dishes each night, it was exceptionally good. The large pool area was very clean and the gardens are lovely. Couldn't fault our stay and would 100% go back again.
