Gran Sagitario

Wunderschönes Hotel, sehr gute Lage. Das Hotelpersonal ist wirklich freundlich und extrem bemüht. Ich war ein paar Stunden zu früh da und durfte mich direkt im Hotel frisch machen, das Gepäck unterbringen und wurde angerufen, als mein Zimmer fertig war. Frühstück wie auch Abendessen in Buffetform mit sehr viel Auswahl. Der Pool und die komplette Anlage sind ebenfalls sehr gepflegt. Absolut empfehlenswert!

This hotel was wonderful! Gran Sagitario is such an amazing place to stay. From arrival to departure the staff were fantastic, helpful, caring and friendly. The location is perfect if you want relaxation and the hotel is spotless. The food was wonderful with a huge selection of food including varied tastes and styles. The chocolate fountain was fantastic as were the haribo’s! Breakfast was plentiful with lots of choice- the pasties were amazing. Everyone is allowed an hour a day on the spa and only 10 people so it was very relaxing! There were Kenny of sun beds and no need to get up early to get a space. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and it is one of few hotels I would definitely return to!

Raw chicken beef and eggs pig and fish potatoes biscuits on water down custard and the salad was past it best black lettuce cucumber dried out I would not waste your money on this hotel the service in the school hall this is what the dining room looks like no table cloths just green looking kitchen roll some of waiters forget to get showers not very nice when reaching over to collect plates I had upset stomach a couple of times within two weeks the breakfast was disgusting the raw eggs water down yoghurt cereal all the mix up pasty’s never fresh water down fruit juice no English breakfast cold coffee out of machine people pick things with their hands raw sausage No smoothies ps do not ask the person trying to cook the food to cook again he throws in the bin all got attitude the staff in the restaurant /school hall . Spa not relaxing don’t bother kids are jumping in pool going in steam room and sauna and it says 16 years old only . Kids running around outside until midnight.room are not sound proof you can hear everything and don’t bother with the breakfast on leaving day we ask night before because we would miss breakfast they give you a plastic tub used for fruit filled with last night ham and cheese sandwich a pastry a carton of orange juice and apple which all went in bin .

My daughter and I had a wonderful week at Gran Sagitario in Cala Santandria. The hotel was amazing, meeting all our expectations. Really peaceful quiet location, and the atmosphere of hotel reflected this. We stayed in room 204, overlooking the pool but far enough away not to be disturbed by noise. The rooms were super clean with everything we needed, fridge, safe, kettle and drinks making bits, hairdryer. Shower was amazing! The dining options were top notch, all really fresh and well cooked, lots of meat, fish and vegetables and fruit every day. So many options, from little tapas style to freshly cooked meats and fish and locally sourced produce. Really nothing to complain about and having intended to explore local restaurants we didn't bother as the hotel food was so delicious. The poolside bar was lovely, serving drinks throughout the day and al la carte lunch menu, the pork sandwich deserves a special mention! Reception staff were really helpful with all of our questions, booking taxis for us and arranging a takeaway breakfast for an early check out. Must mention Evangeline for whom nothing was too much, and always with a smile. She even held an umbrella over us to our coach on the final day, getting drenched in the process. Truly above and beyond. Easy reach to Ciutadella by bus or taxi and walks down the coast to nearby Cala Blanca. A lovely hotel if you're after a quiet relaxing holiday.

We don't often return to the same hotel again but have been drawn back to the Gran Sagitario! The hotel is beautifully modern and in a quiet location. Rooms are thoroughly clean and the beds comfy. The showers are powerful! The food is really great -and has been consistently so - on our three holidays to date. Jesus who manages the restaurant is a great asset to the hotel being especially friendly and helpful. We also liked the local produce such as the cheeses and paellas that were part of the food offering. The pool bar menu has great pizza, cocktails and Menorcan ice-cream at prices compaprable with the UK. A lot of French guests (in May 2024) seem to hire cars to explore the island so it is often quiet around the pool, much less so much when there are more Brits staying (like October 2023). You can easily walk to Cala Blanca and the small local beach at Cala Santandria is literally 2 minuted walk down the road. We walked into Ciutadella several times and also used the local buses. The hotel organised a taxi for us to visit Lithica too. A great holiday!

This is a super hotel. The bedrooms are a good size, the pool area is great with a good lunchtime menu, the staff are so helpful and the cleaning team are the best I've ever seen - everywhere was spotless. The breakfasts were excellent, so much choice and everything was beautifully fresh - special thanks to the omelette chef. The hotel is in a quiet residential area but Ciutadella (the old capital) is onlyna short taxi ride away (about €8) and there is a selection of bars/restaurants in Cala Blanca - a 15/20 minute walk. A couple of grumbles. The pool towels are too small and only cover half of the bed so uncomfortable and a bit unhygienic. They either need bigger towels or allow two towels per guest. The hotel is super modern but the dining room is so stark it is more like a canteen and not where you want a special evening. And in the bedroom there is no door into the bathroom, just a doorway so this might cause privacy or dignity issues for some guests.
