This hotel should be avoided. We booked 2 doubles with shared bathrooms by mistake. Great price of €35. 1. Check in was slow and the poor girl didn’t seem to have any rooms available. 2. The rooms where very poorly looked after and not properly cleaned. 3. The shared bathroom and toilets where badly maintained and dirty. I wouldn’t have used either. We walked out after 5 mins and booked into the Kyraid Hotel at park Expo. HOTEL KYRIAD DIRECT ARRAS - SAINT LAURENT BLANGY - PARC EXPO. I would definitely use this one again. So much better. 1. Reception was excellent. 2. Rooms were very clean with good bathroom facility and also very clean. I recommend you avoid the Premiere Classe Arras - Tilloy Les Mofflaines hot Al at all costs. I wouldn’t put a dog in there. Note: This review is not unfair.

Stayed here overnight on the way back to Channel Tunnel at the end of a 16 night road trip. The last of 5 hotels we stayed in it met our expectations in most respects. Well located. Parking directly underneath the hotel (public car park) with a lift straight to reception.(Parking Europe). Thoughtfully planned room and bathroom (full length mirror, quiet air con, fridge, water). Very clean and quiet (despite our room overlooking the station). Polite and efficient reception and bar staff with reasonable bar prices and a nice little outside terrace to have drinks on. The only negative was the included breakfast. We arrived at the breakfast room at 8.30th to find every table covered unused plates/mugs etc with chairs and tables randomly scattered. This wouldn’t have been an issue if there had been any staff hurriedly dealing with the mess (which we thought had maybe been caused by a coach party eating and leaving together?) but it was a full 20 minutes before the staff even noticed (despite there being 2 members of staff on duty). Items were slow to be replenished and all the honey and jam dispensers were empty. When the tables were finally cleared, it was by means of a large catering trolley with attached bin bag being pushed round the dining room, which we found quite intrusive. The actual breakfast offering was lovely - fresh orange juice, delicious yogurt and a great selection of pastries/ cereal etc, it’s just a pity about the ambiance, and lack of customer care shown by the breakfast attendants - perhaps they were just having a bad day? Despite the above we would happily return to this hotel if we visit Arras again.

L'hôtel Ibis Gare de Lens est un endroit excellent à visiter assurément. Bénéficiant d'un emplacement privilégié dans la ville de Lens avec beaucoup de passage et état un établissement récent, les attentes étaient au rendez-vous, donc l'accueil est l'étape la plus importante : elle n'a pas été ratée avec un personnel chaleureux. Pas besoin de demander les horaires du petit déjeuner, mode de fonctionnement du repas, etc... Le personnel vous fait un débrief dès votre arrivée pour vous expliquer en un court instant comment profiter de votre séjour à l'hôtel. Chambre double réservée ; elle est propre, grande et répond à mes besoins ainsi qu'à ceux de madame. Le lit confort avec doubles-oreillers était confortable, pas de signes de punaises de lit comme on peut tristement souvent retrouver dans les chambres d'hôtel environnantes.. Ces petits détails nous ont permis de profiter tranquillement d'une nuit bien méritée et dans de bonnes conditions. Petit déjeuner copieux et avec des produits frais (baguette grillée, mini-viennoiseries, types de cafés variés...). Rien à redire, la prestation pour l'emplacement et le prix payé est excellent. Je recommande vivement.

Fairly modern hotel with pleasant & helpful staff. Standard rooms are quite small but properly equipped with excellent WIFI & modern showers. Note if you select 'twin', the beds are very narrow. A bit tricky to find the hotel - SATNAV unhelpful but find the TGV line & try to follow the signs. Trains do thunder past but sound proofing is pretty good & trains stop at night. Restaurant menu quite limited & a bit expensive but very nice quality & presentation. Having travelled from Lyon in a heatwave, it was great to arrive to air conditioning & a cool, clean pool. Overall, a very good stopover and only an hour or so from Calais.
