Hotel berhampiran Louis Vuitton, Athens

Excellent value for money hotel in a fantastic location just a few minutes walk from Athens’ most visited spots. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was clean and spacious and the breakfast buffet was fantastic. No tea/coffee making facilities but I don’t know if that’s normal in Athens, but there is a fridge and great air conditioning. Then roof top bar in their sister hotel Plaka is well worth a visit. Highly recommend.

Though most of this establishment are private rooms, I stayed in the 8-person dorm, so that is what I am reviewing. While this hostel was very clean and well serviced, it isn’t as good as some other hostels I’ve stayed in recently. The beds were not the most comfortable, though I did sleep alright on them. The beds are completely in the open, so there is absolutely no privacy at all. Also, there are limited electrical outlets, so, depending on how busy it is, you might be fighting for plug space (fortunately the dorm was less than half occupied during my visit, so it wasn’t much of a problem). The dorm does have one, ensuite bathroom, which I imagine results in queues during the busy season, however it is very clean. Lockers are available outside the dorm room for your bags/valuables. The dorm is located on the second floor, over streets which are quite busy late at night, so you will hear the din from the crowd below (light sleepers beware!). Two of the best aspects of this hostel as it’s location and rooftop terrace. Five minutes walk from Monastiraki Square, everything you want to see in central Athens is a stones throw away. The rooftop terrace is absolutely wonderful, with magnificent views of the Acropolis and the old city. A great place to enjoy a few beers in the evening (and a killer sunset), a coffee in the morning (with a terrific sunrise), or just catching some rays in the afternoon. See photos. For the location and terrace alive, I’d stay here again…but would probably opt for a private room.

Negative points:Breakfast buffet has less variety of food. It needs to include fruit squeezer and fried eggs. Black people stay nearby. Positive points: location is very good with 2 metro stations, especially omonia where 2 metro lines interact. They are very helpful for tourist to visit interesting places like acropolis. Staff service is excellent. Indian restaurants nearby offer delicious but cheaper food.

Absolutely amazing hotel, very cosy, modern, with lovely details in design and decor, comfy bed with choice of pillows, great rooftop restaurant with nice view to Acropolis, super tasty breakfast with fresh juice and fresh bakery 🙏

Point positif et... c'est le seul : Situé en centre ville Points négatifs : Hôtel servant de d'hébergement provisoire pour migrants qui occupent hall d'accueil et couloirs avec téléphone avec haut parleur, nous avons dû appeler la réception à deux reprises pour ne plus être gênés par les conversations bruyantes. La nourriture est médiocre avec un choix minimal et la gastro assurée au réveil ! Beaucoup de bruits extérieurs surtout dus aux zombies dans la rue adjacentes qui se bagarrent, trafiquent et hurlements. Nos avons pu voir des personnes faisant leurs besoins dans la rue adjacente et entendre les voitures de polices venir sirènes hurlantes. Dommage car les chambres sont correctes.

LOVED staying at this hotel and would stay again if I were visiting Athens again. From the moment we arrived we were greeted by Harris (the manager I think, he was constantly on reception or at the bar area) we were warmly welcomed. We arrived around 11am (check in was supposed to be 3pm but he allowed us to check into our room immediately - and also upgraded us to a beautiful room with a massive balcony. The room was gorgeous and modern and had many lovely amenities including toothbrush and toothpaste sets and lovely bathroom toiletries. There was a fridge with bottled water and the room had air conditioning and the biggest walk-in shower ever. So luxurious and modern. We were also able to store our cases after a late check out. Really good hotel, close too the centre of athens. Around 20 mins walk to the centre so not so bad. The hotel itself is budget but we loved it, cost room, aircon, TV, bathroom with amazing shower. I would highly recommend this hotel. Perfect base for city exploring. The staff were nice and friendly and the cleaners were nice.

very good hotel and excellent service, very clean room. BTW: during our staying there is a strike for Taxi and Uber so we can not find any taxi available. The reception solved our problem even though much more expensive:-)

This is a beautiful boutique hotel. They are very new and need to work on their communication skills. We were told that the rooftop was closed and that we need to order breakfast the day prior and it would be delivered to our room at the desired time. We waited for our breakfast the following morning and it did not arrive. We went downstairs to hear that breakfast is served on the rooftop ( which we were told was closed). Apparently they changed the plan and didn’t think to inform us. Since we were being picked up for a tour…we had to hurry out with a light snack. That same night, at 11:30 pm we heard someone knocking on a door…only to have the door opened by a man (who apologized). As we were two women travelling together -this was a very upsetting security incident. There are no latches to ensure ure our safety from the inside. The decor is modern and calming. There is a nespresso coffee machine supplied (nice touch). The room was spacious and very clean. We enjoyed our stay…but we’re disappointed in missing out on breakfast and the man unlocking our door late at night. A bit far from the centre of town-but on a Main Street.

A newish hotel, this place is very contemporary and makes use of all the limited space it has in a very efficient way. We were checked in by Valga who was friendly, helpful and efficient. Our room was spotless and cool. The beds are very hard, so be warned if you like a soft mattress. The room had all we needed, except for milk which you have to get from reception. A continental Breakfast can be purchased for €13. There’s a small gym if you feel inclined to use it. Valga helped with a good restaurant recommendation and called good value taxis for us. She’s was a super-star. Thank you for a great stay.
