Hotel Romantik di Athens

Some unpleasant experience at first but the staffs were generally nice. Good location with a view of the temple of Zeus. Nice rooftop restaurants with a sunset view of the Acropolis. The room was clean and modern but the view was poor.

Meja penyambut tetamu mengatakan bahawa harga Ctrip adalah yang paling teruk, jadi saya terpaksa membayar lebih! Malam kedua menambah 130 euro. Adalah disyorkan bahawa Ctrip membuat harga lebih tepat pada masa hadapan dan memperkenalkan bilik dengan lebih terperinci! Sebagai contoh, jika kita memerlukan tab mandi, kita harus menandakannya dengan jelas supaya kita tidak perlu malu apabila sampai ke hotel! !

Located in the central part of the city, which the security became an issue especially during the evening hours. It was a brief stay for transfer flight in Athens and I thought it could be easy to have a quick tour if stay in downtown. The story turns out to be I witnessed and experienced two robberies in only one night staying. One on the road and the other in the metro. Only on my way out for a dinner and come back. Understandably such experience would have me feel unsecured and uncomfortable, especially when I back to the hotel and found my room having no way to lock from inside. I honestly suggest the hotel to set any secure door lock to allow the guests to lock by themselves while in the room. For the rest of the hotel, basically consider as a hostel but larger. It is good value and you get what you pay for.

The hotel is at a centralized location. Very near to many pickup points where tours will start. And it is near the metro as well. Cafes & restaurants are all nearby. This is our second stay & the rooms for these 2 nights seems to be better with a small balcony. I previously heard reviews about too much noise & unable to sleep. Either we were very lucky or we were just tired, we slept soundly for the 2 nights. Breakfast was a good spread with bread, cheese, yoghurts, cereals & eggs. And the bedsheets are clean. They have a great view at their sky bar. Overall, we enjoyed our stays.

I do not believe this property reflects a 4 star hotel by definition. Let's start with location...It is located in a not so atheistically pleasing part of Athens so be careful walking around the neighborhood. The rooms are too small and very outdated. I stayed at this place for a total of 5 nights on 3 separate occasions because of a group tour. First 2 nights the room was as small with a window that opened to an alley which was on the 6th floor. The AC barely worked. The second time I was given a better yet still standard room on the 5th floor. This included a sofa but the bathroom had zero ventilation. Main window faced an alley but at least the AC worked. 3rd time I was on the 1st floor, room was tiny again and the AC was broken completely. In addition they advertise a GYM but the one and only weight machine has a sign in it that reads ”Out of Order”. The treadmill is old, the bike is older and the 4 kettle balls are all that's available. The absolute BEST thing going is the Rooftop Restaurant/Bar and Staff. Food is Great and the Staff is great as well. The Bar and drinks are fantastic and the Bartender is amazing with the crafting of cocktails. The view of the Acropolis is fair. Hotel is a 3 star as far as accommodations.

Great new hotel. Location is perfect; can walk to everything and the metro stop from the airport is 3 short blocks away. Breakfast excellent. Service excellent. Room did have street noise from the bars below, particularly at weekends.

Lovely luxury hotel near key areas of Athens, across the street from Parliament ( and the changing of the guard at the tomb of Greece’s unknown soldier. After a little awkward start with our late arrival and the room still not available, the hotel made it right by upgrading us to a fantastic suite and a free drink at the bar - Thank you very much Eleni!! Attached are several pictures of the hotel and facilities, our suite, and views from the hotel. The top floor restaurant has very good service and delicious food and great views. The elevators are quite small and fairly slow, but the stairs ( interesting picture looking down is attached) are not too difficult to climb or descend. This hotel is a short distance to the heart of Plaka and the Acropolis and other touristy spots. I added several reviews of the sites we visited and restaurants where we ate.

Reception was really kind to let us leave our luggage with them. We also reached earlier before check in time and our rooms were ready, didn’t have to wait too long for check in. Booked the room with city view and could see a very pretty church right outside. Breakfast provided was yummy too! Rooms were clean and comfy. Overall a nice little hotel!

My partner and I had the best time staying at Sweet Home Hotel! The staff is very friendly and incredibly accommodating. Our room was great, cozy, and had everything that we needed. We had an early ferry leaving Athens one of the mornings and the staff very generously packed us breakfast, lunch, and snacks for our journey as we were leaving too early to enjoy the breakfast. Their breakfast buffet is delicious as well. The hotel is located walking distance from Plaka, Monasteraki, the Acropolis, and more making it centrally located. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sweet Home Hotel and would absolutely return in the future if visiting the city again!

Small boutique hotel with very attentive staff and outstanding view of the Acropolis from its excellent restaurant. From the get-go, we were received with a warm welcoming smile by Marisanti and Valantis. Due to early arrival, our room was being cleaned and we were directed to the top floor restaurant for coffee. Wow, what a view! We were in awe of the spectacular view of the Acropolis from the restaurant. The daily breakfast, served at the restaurant, included a quite diverse menu and the very attentive staff always provided great service. We received recommendations and advice from the front desk staff on a daily basis. Every day we were welcome back from our daily exploring with a smile. Other highlights were the cleanliness of the hotel and the balcony offering a great view of the daily Plaka crowd. Any time we had questions regarding our planned activities, every effort was made by the front desk staff to coordinate among the different shifts to follow up and provide us with the specific details or information. This special customer service gave us peace of mind and contributed to our outstanding experience during our April six-day stay.
