Hotel berhampiran Te Atatu Peninsula Park, Auckland

Stayed at Lylo for 3-4 days and it’s probably the best hostel I’ve ever stayed at. You check in on a device however there is a receptionist near in case you need anything. The design is amazing as well as the communal rooms/work spaces, it’s very new and renovated at the moment so it looks really great. There’s free wifi, a communal kitchen and bathrooms on each floor. There’s also a restaurant and bar, you get a card for one free drink too! I stayed in a private room and shared bathroom, the floor was super clean and quiet. The room itself was cute and tidy, we were missing a few things such as a rubbish bin (didn’t know the rooms came with one until we saw someone else on our floor with one). I think it would’ve of been nice if the room came with a television or a safe, however the room was great for the price so can’t complain too much :) location is central and easy access to everything within the city.

The hotel is in a very good location, which is near the sky tower where you can take the air bus to or from Auckland airport. There are a lot of shops and restaurants near by. The room is clean and with all that we need. The breakfast is very good, especially the croissant😋

This is definitely the best hotel with top service in Auckland. We were on a group tour and stayed in several hotels all over the country, Horizon stood out as the most accommodating, comfortable, and friendly. It's just a few minutes walk from Weta, the neighborhood is clean, modern and convenient, surrounded by convenient stores and restaurants. I carelessly left my spare phone in a hotel in Wellington, and I am super grateful that the Concierge at Horizon went out of their way to help get it back... (it was a slightly complicated situation as I left New Zealand before the phone reached Horizon).

The location is excellent for the queen street and easy to access CBD Auckland, the room is ok for short trip. But have to close the window to prevent insect. The staffs are nice and helpful.

A centrally located hotel within walking distance of the harbour and other attractions. Stayed here for two nights to recover from a long flight before setting off on our New Zealand odyssey. Check in is efficient and our room was on the 23rd floor which afforded views across the city. The room was spacious and clean and the king size bed very comfortable. The bathroom was stocked with good quality accessories and the shower was powerful and hot. Ideal. However, we were close to lift and the whooshing noise when it was in use would annoy some. Breakfast was a little disappointing. The buffet is expensive for what’s on offer and the quality of the food we found average at best. At the time we stayed there was major construction work in progress outside the hotel although we were out during the day so it didn’t bother us.

Holiday Inn Express is one of my favorite hotels during my 2-week stay in New Zealand. It is located in the heart of Auckland’s cbd area and close to everything (shops, restaurants, bars, harbor). It is a 6-minute walk to the Sky Tower where you can pick up the Airport Express bus for $17 nzd. The hotel entrance is on a significant incline. The reception is on the 2nd floor which you can take either an elevator or escalator up. The cafeteria and small lounge are to the right of the reception desk. Breakfast was the usual scrambled eggs, sausage, ham, toast, yogurt, cereal, fruits, muffins, and other pastries. Due to the high volume of clients the 2 coffee machines were usually low on milk to make certain coffee drinks. I love the room set up. The closet is across of the bathroom and had plenty of room for your luggage. The shower is enclosed in a glass cube with wave designs. A nightlight in the bathroom saved on electricity if you need a little light to move around the room. The bed was comfortable and the a/c worked. The reception staff was kind to let me stay an extra hour past the check-out time for the room that I had with my tour. The room that I booked after the tour was ready early and I got to settle in at 11 am before my afternoon tour. Construction is happening around the hotel with the streets being torn up and a new building under construction next to the hotel. The hotel is well insulated that I couldn’t hear any of the construction.

YHA Auckland International is located within walking distance from everywhere in Auckland downtown, including the airport bus if you need to get an early flight. The kitchen has everything you need, the beds and bedding are spotless and comfortable, and conducive to a good night sleep. Wi-Fi is available. I didn’t try it though.

The room itself is lovely and clean, has the basics and the shower is good but the noise of the place let's it down. Echos through the hall way and shutting of doors constantly through the night then a high pitched door alarm rang for 2 hours first thing in the morning. The bed and pillows were comfy however our bed was missing an entire leg!!! The lean was incredibly noticble and contributed to an average sleep. I had requested a car park on booking 2 months in advance and arrived to find there were none available and my request denied. Having to pay way more for secure parking on top of the hotel hiked the cost up to what a decent hotel would have been. It's location fitted the purpose of a concert at Spark Arena but I definitely won't be staying here again.

Honestly, overall I enjoyed the stay at the Copthrone Hotel in Auckland. The location was good and the staff were friendly. The bar was good (although like anything in Auckland everything was over priced) and the pasta I had one night was really good. Unfortunately the hotel needed a face lift. The paint on the walls were chipped, the carpet needed replacing and the doors wouldn't close properly. The bathrooms were untidy and very small. It was also a very noisy hotel. They Melenium Group need to spend some money on this facility because it could be a great hotel. 3 stars.

The staff in office were so friendly and helpful. Just ask nicely and they are happy to help where they can. I recently stayed 15 nights but initially could not get all nights confirmed due to some full dates. Upon arrival, I explained my desire and through a but of luck (due cancellations) and helpful staff, I was able to secure rooms for my whole stay. I needed to change rooms from a 2 bedroom to a studio and the managed to give me room on same floor (actually next door) making my move from 1st room to 2nd room very easy and convenient. The room cleaners are like a SWAT team - so impressed with there speed and efficiency. It seems nothing is too much of a problem from extra coffee or cleaning supplies, to fresh towels. Thanks for making my staff as smooth as possible. . I was so happy with the smiling service, I even brought a little box of Cadbury favourites for the office staff to share. Kindness returned with kindness. The undercover parking is convenient and cheap. Walking distance to Westfield. Easy cooking facilities with dishwasher, washing machine, dryer and all the powders supplied. Just so convenient all round. Just walk in with your suitcase, do a quick supermarket shop and it is like a home away from home :)
