Hotel Augsburg dengan Bar

This is a strange property. Location is close to the city center. Parking is behind the hotel and very inconvenient. Breakfast is not included and the cost is $15 Euros. Don't pay it. You are in walking distance from a bakery, a Starbucks, and a McDonalds all where you can get breakfast for half that. The rooms are huge - almost too big for the configuration. Room is spacious, but the bathroom is tiny. Shag carpet which is an interesting choice for a hotel. Rooms are clean. Towels, etc outside the bathroom because the bathrooms have zero storage or counter space. Hotel staff is not particularly welcoming. You definitely feel like you're in the principal's office. Rigid is the word I would use to describe the experience. It wasn't a terrible experience, but probably would try something different if I'm in the area again.

What the Hollyday in Express hotel Augsburg in Germany does to customers is unacceptable and subject to legal action for false advertising. the hotel sells rooms with air conditioning and turns off the air in the hotel. I want my money back. the hotel has no right to say how I want to sleep if it has put the room on sale with air conditioning. First, the attendant on the first night (02/10/23) said they were turning it off because it was winter (which is unbearably hot). later, the attendant said that I should change hotels before checking in when I found that there was no air. the other attendant, tonight (03/10/23) said that the hotel had a list of rooms where the air conditioning worked and another list of rooms that didn't work and had the outrageous to send me to two rooms where the system turns on but doesn’t worth at all. the truth is that the hotel wants to save money over the customer with false advertising. I want my money back, I'm outraged, because I slept very badly and I would never stay in a hotel without air conditioning without being fully aware of it. I doubt that in Six Senses, which is part of the same group as Holliday Inn the air is turned off at some point. The manager is in completely silence. I expect the total refund of the expenses of the reservation.

Sehr freundliches Personal, gute Zimmer-, Bad- und Hotelausstattung und mit Balkon. Trotz der guten Bubstanz, hier und da im Zimmer etwas renovierungsbedürftig (zB herausstehende Schraube an der Baddecke). Auch leider kein Hoteleigener Parkplatz. Trotzdem empfehlenswert.

The hotel is very well located for the city centre sights. The room was very comfortable and the staff were friendly and most helpful. Dinner was delicious - we tried the Menu Gastronomique - and would recommend it. Maitre D in the restaurant was most impressive.The hotel is smart modern and feels up market. Parking is secure and just behind the hotel.

From booking to arrival to departure, City Hotel Ost am Kö exceeded expectations. Excellent, superbly-connected location and well-appointed room. Bathroom tight (single room) but clean, well maintained and with thoughtful extras such as wall hooks and good mirrors that other places seem to forget. Wi-fi was free and one of the easiest I've ever connected with in a hotel. Mini bar (not used) and good unpacking space. Slept well but the pillow could have been better. Hotels don't have to be fancy to be rated 5-stars. The staff here could show up those at some fancier places. Surprisingly good breakfast offer - included and available till midday. Small sauna needs booking. Didn't have an opportunity to use but saw that it looked fine, with a good relaxing area. If in the centre of Augsburg again, I'd head straight for City Hotel am Kö - also if staying with someone.

Excellent location, just outside the main train station and walking distance to the Konigsplatz from where where most of the city is accessible through trams and buses. Checked in was quick, room was ok, though a small bathroom but fully functional with a heater of its own. Linen is changed once every four days as a routine. Breakfast was ok, covers most of the usual stuff. In all, a nice and convenient place to stay if you would be out most of the day.

Great ! The hotel was close to the city tram , which you can ride for free. In fact , it's only about 50 meters - you can reach it in 1- 2 min depending on traffic. You can reach the downtown area by tram in about 10 - 15 minutes. The hotel was clean and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast was included and quite good. Not as many choices as a large chain hotel but still good. Would definitely stay there again !

Excellent location, near the main train station. Also walking distance from Konigsplatz from where there are bus and tram connections throughout the city. Good breakfast menu for this type of hotels. Small room but cosy, clean and fully functional. Good and convenient place to stay when on a short business trip.

Poor communication, difficult to contact. We arrived at the hostel and there was nobody to receive us. We waited for more than 1 hour for someone to come, after sending messages through **********. About the room: we were in 4 people in the room for 2 days, and we had only ONE toilet paper, no refills. No reception, no staff, nobody to assist us, during all the time we were there. The TV in the room wasn't working, as well as the heating. The towels dryer in the bathroom was SO dirty, with old stuck dust, that I had to use one square of toilet paper (because I had to save) to TRY and clean it to put my towel to dry. I was at the kitchen preparing my dinner and some old man shout with me, out of nowhere, and turned off the lights (?) leaving only 1 light on (I have vision problems) — I think that maybe he's a manager or something. That was SO absurd and disrespectful! I mean, what the f*? Are you serious? Worst experience in hostels in all my life.
