Home Farm & Lodge is a wonderful place to stay. The room was spacious with everything we needed, including a kitchen area with kettle, microwave, toaster & a very well supplied fridge! There was a corner sofa, coffee table & TV at one end and a small breakfast table with high stools in the centre and the comfortable king size bed at the other end. The continental breakfast contained everything we could need, plus lots that we didn’t use. (Cereals, porridge sachets, a loaf of bread, jars of jam, honey & marmalade & biscuits & peanuts). In the fridge were yoghurts, fresh milk, fresh fruit, orange juice & butter as well as a carafe of chilled water. All very well thought out. The bathroom was lovely and all toiletries were from a sustainable company in refillable containers. There’s a lovely garden area with table & chairs which, unfortunately we didn’t have enough time to enjoy. Kerry & Richard were the perfect hosts & nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely be returning.

We stayed at Home Farm and Lodge for one night only, but we'd love to return for longer when we have the time. Everything you could need was provided in a relatively small space. That didn't mean that it was cramped or uncomfortable! The room was stylishly laid out with a separate, very comfy, seating area. Everything was spotlessly clean! I'm a clean freak and was very happy with the standard! The bed was comfortable, with good quality bedding. The bathroom was spacious with copious hot water. There was also a small, well equipped kitchen area. Overall a very comfortable stop.

The accommodation is superb, so clean & comfortable . The d.i.y. continental breakfast was very moorish. Fresh bread fruit yoghurts etc was lovely. The owners have really got a gem of a place here. Fresh farm eggs when available & lovely gardens.

What a wonderful stay we had at Home Farm, the owners were lovely and took time to make sure everything was perfect, which it was. The beautiful spacious rooms were very well equipped, comfortable and spotlessly clean, we wanted for nothing. There was a very good selection of cereals, pastries, fruit, yogurts, tea, coffee, orange juice, bread and milk for our continental breakfast. The grounds were beautifully kept, manicured lawns, with lovely flower beds. What an absolute gem this place is and I can not recommend it highly enough. We will definitely be visiting again. Booked three of the lodges as we were attending a family wedding at Bawtry Hall and did not want the busyness of a hotel. The lodges were clean, comfortable, well appointed and set in beautiful gardens where we were able to host a pre-wedding gathering. The breakfast packs were amazing with everything we could possible want and Kerry and Richard went out their way to ensure we had a lovely stay. The business has a silver Green (eco) award and the garden a wildlife award making it ideal for those who care for the environment. This is how self-catering should be done.

This is a farm with converted barn buildings providing 6 or 7 different accommodations. We stayed here on our way further North, it being conveniently just off the A1. It was a late booking and we had excellent communications with the owners. It's quite close to the pretty little town of Bawtry, which is where we found somewhere lovely to eat, there were many places to choose from. We were in room 2, which was an upstairs room and consisted of a really cosy bedroom at one end, a kitchenette and sitting room at the other end, with a spacious bathroom with excellent facilities including a walk in shower. The kitchenette was well equipped with a fridge, microwave and toaster, and all sorts of plates and glasses so you could easily have had a take away. Breakfast was included in the form of a continental breakfast - yoghurts, fresh fruit, croissants, cereal and a whole loaf of fresh bread, with butter and jams. Really perfect for people on the move. There was a tv in both the sitting room and the bedroom, the settee was really good and I don't think I've ever slept so well in a strange bed - it was really comfy! The sitting room looked out onto the road outside, but this didn't disturb us at all, nor did the nearby airport. Being a converted barn, the walls of this unit were very thick, meaning it was really cosy and comfortable. There were plenty of windows to keep it cool if a warm night.Room 2 We were met on arrival and had a little wander around the grounds before we left. Really can't recommend this place highly enough and have every intention of returning.
