Hotel berhampiran Lapangan Terbang Caumont, Avignon

We booked this hotel for 1 night on a road trip from Paris to Monaco. I could have spent a week here. The grounds are amazing. It reminded me of the resort hotels in Cuernavaca Mexico. The rooms surrounded a courtyard area that was full of trees, flowers, shrubs, outdoor tables for breakfast, and outdoor games. It was an extremely relaxing atmosphere. The room was great. Large room, king bed, furnishings fit for a king. The bathroom was large with a walk-in shower. Two sinks, large vanity. As a Hilton Platinum member we received free breakfast which included breakfast brought to the room. However, you had more options if you went to the restaurant for breakfast (i.e. extra charge with room service for eggs - free at the restaurant). The negative - the front desk really pushed the restaurant which is a Michelin restaurant. So, very expensive. Every time we asked about nearby restaurants we were told we should eat on site. Luckily we had a car and went to a local 'taco' shop. If you don't have a car, Uber Eats has several options. Also, it isn't in the best area. We were a little nervous driving in. But, once you arrive, you drive in through a walled property and it is very nice. They have a bellman who will help you with your luggage. Particularly helpful if you are on the second floor. All in all, this place was amazing. Especially if you are looking for a week of R&R.

Nice location, 5 minutes walk to downtown Avignon. No need take taxi to hotel from Avignon TGV, local train one stop.

We loved this hotel! We left yesterday and miss it already. The whole building is charming. Think teddy bears, flowers, even an old typewriter my kid got a kick out of. Public areas include a very small lounge by the reception and a breakfast room with a big window overlooking a small street. The receptionists were friendly and helpful and most spoke some English. There is a small lift up to the rooms as well as a twisty interior staircase my son also enjoyed. Each floor has a couple of levels with a few stairs between each, so if you have mobility issues, be sure to request a room that doesn't require any stairs. Rooms: We had the junior suite for 3. (More than 3 would be quite cramped.) It has a double bed and a chair folded out into a twin. There is also a desk, two chairs, small table, chest of drawers, small closet, and additional clothes rack. So we were able to unpack most of our stuff and put it away. There is a small WC and bathroom with sink, drawers and shelving, bath/shower and clothesline. There's a small fridge mostly stuffed with minibar items, but we were able to cram in a couple of our own items. There were several windows but it did get rather dim in the evenings once the sun went down. The windows open directly onto a ledge, no screen, which might be concerning if you have a very inquisitive or adventurous toddler. We slept with a window open for a couple of nights and I did get a few bug bites, but I am one of those people who's irresistible to mosquitoes and very allergic; my companions were not bothered. The temperature was comfortable in late June and we didn't feel the need to try the A/C or heat. Amenities: Tea selection, instant coffee, real coffee; teapot and coffee machine; condensed milk, real and fake sugar. 2 teacups, 2 espresso cups, 2 spoons. Bathroom provided soap and combo shower gel/shampoo; no conditioner. Breakfast is an amazing buffet: Scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, bacon and sausages, croissants, pain au chocolate, brioche, bread, pickles, olives, tea, coffee, espresso machine, fresh squeezed orange juice, milk, soy milk, other juices, cheeses, cold meats, fruits (strawberries, watermelon, pineapple), veggies, etc. It runs 'til 11 and even on the day we showed up late, they kindly gave us a ton of food. Location: This could be a pro or a con, depending on your preferences. It's right off the Place de l'Horloge, which has a ton of cafes and restaurants and glaciers and a cute little carousel. It's steps from the Palais de Papes. That is all very convenient, but it also means you hear all of the activities of the Place at night: late-night revelry (there was a big music festival Friday night and the band was...not great) and early-morning deliveries and such.

This is a newly renovated and truly beautiful hotel. There is not a blemish in any of the renovation work, the finishes are beautiful, and the rooms are exceptionally clean. It also has excellent showers, air conditioning, et cetera. Most importantly, the stuff is clearly aware they are managing important asset and are wonderful, more than meeting the expectations set by the hotel. My constructive criticism would lie outside the hotel- the town is beautiful but is significantly limited in terms of restaurant options; the menu of the comptoir bistro is exceedingly narrow to accommodate the different types of patrons that would like to enjoy la mere and chateauneuf du pape. Hervorragend! Wir wurden sehr! herzlich empfangen an der Rezeption, zuvor konnten wir wegen einer Sperrung der Zufahrtsstraße zum Hotel es erst nicht erreichen und unser Navi fand keinen Weg. Nach Anruf im Hotel kam von dort ein Mitarbeiter gelaufen! und öffnete die Sperrung und geleitete uns neben unserem Auto laufend bis zum Hotel. Dann begleitete er meinen Mann zum Parkplatz, da es kompliziert zur reservierten Parkstelle in einer großen Halle war wegen eines kirchlichen Ereignis mit einem wohl hohen Würdenträger, zu dem die Polizei alles gesperrt hatte. Dies war ein einmaliges Ereignis in Orange, aber man hat uns vom Hotel sehr geholfen mit dem Auto. Unsere Juniorsuite war sehr groß mit grossem bequemen Bett. Das Badezimmer war das größte, was wir in 6 Wochen Frankreichurlaub hatten, alles perfekt ausgestattet, klassischer Stil , aber mit sehr schönen Kacheln/Fliesen. Die Dusche war sehr groß und nichts wurde nass außerhalb und der Fliesenboden in der Dusche war nicht glatt, sondern sehr sicher (viel ! besser als in den meisten anderen Hotels). Duschen war ein Genuss dort! Alles war schön eingerichtet, NICHT wie in einer anderen Gästebewertung geschrieben „lieblos“, das stimmt nicht. Die Heizung funktionierte gut (November) und man konnte bei offenem Fenster schlafen, so schön ruhig war es. Gefrühstückt haben wir dort nicht, also dazu keine Meinung. Lage perfekt im Zentrum. Ein wunderbarer Aufenthalt, absolut empfehlenswert, dem Hotel und seinen Mitarbeitern vielen Dank!!

Nous avons séjourné plusieurs nuits dans cet hôtel récent. Nous recommandons fortement, car l’emplacement est parfait ainsi que le grand parking pour garez vos camions. Le petit déjeuner est copieux. Si vous souhaitez se re restaurer le soir, il existe un service de Snacking avec un bar très sympathique. Un grand merci pour l’équipe de réception pour leurs disponibilités et leur gentillesse. Le nettoyage des chambres était parfait. Nous reviendrons certainement lors de nos prochains déplacements.

The room are not like in the photos. Are much older and at least mine was much smaller. I paied 2 days for breakfast and only ate once because there was really nothing especial and not worth the price. The good part was really the location and the pool. By the check out they asked me for the full amount when I had payed already in advance and they were about to charge me again. Then I requested towels for the pool and it was said that they ran out of pool towels and the housekeeping didn't wanted to give any others for us to use. I never leave reviews in general only when I have great experiences but I believe this should be a learning moment for you.

The accomodation at this hotel was relatively cheap but: - the room was small (bed looked clean) - the air conditioning did not work at all and we could not leave the window open as anybody could enter the room in this case; so it was hot there and the air was very dense - the bathroom was extremely small (even for thin and rather small people; I cannot imagine big people using it) and quite disguisting (it was not dirty but all brownish, old and partly corroded) - good thing was that the hotel is not so far away from Arles city centre and the parking was free

Nous avons passé une nuit très chaude ce vendredi 7 juillet 23.heureusement la climatisation était efficace , les draps très doux et propres la literie très bonne . Bon rapport qualité prix .en tous cas et gentillesse et diligence du personnel pour nous répondre suite à un oubli de ma paire de lunettes , du moins je le croyais. La paire de lunettes est retrouvée ailleurs mais un grand merci de m' avoir rappelée au téléphone et par mail

Réservation de dernière minute suite erreur de resa de mon entreprise : personne très pro, agréable, réactive avec un vrai sens du service. Chambre petite ms très propre, on vous accueille par votre nom au petit déjeuner, on s’enquiert de savoir comment vous allez et de quoi vous avez besoin. Cerise ultime sur le gâteau : on vous rappelle quelques minutes après votre départ pour vous informer que la femme de chambre a trouvé vos AirPods !
