Florian and Emmanuelle were fantastic hosts, extremely welcoming and shared great tips on where to visit in Avignon….also Florian was extremely kind in helping us find the place, coming to meet us on a bike, when we were lost in the maze of one way streets! We would definitely stay again if returning to Avignon."

"The hotel's ambiance is absolutely beautiful, like a private garden oasis. The owner clearly puts a lot of effort into maintaining it, the hygiene is excellent, and the service is warm and friendly. My only minor complaints are that the breakfast selection is quite limited and the soundproofing isn't great – you can hear footsteps from the floor above. Other than that, everything was wonderful."

The room is hot and humid. The shower room is too small to move. Every day, I watch a group of ants crawling around and crawling. I am completely sorry for this price. Hotel location is the only advantage"

"The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic, right next to the Papal Palace! However, the facilities are on par with a budget motel, definitely not what you'd expect from a 4-star hotel; it barely scrapes by as a 3-star. Perhaps because it's an old building, the hallways are incredibly narrow and dim. The room was tiny, with no trash can except for a miniature one in the bathroom. There wasn't even a proper desk, just a small 40cm ledge. No gym or pool. The floorboards creaked loudly with every step, making me worried about disturbing the neighbors. There's central air conditioning, but no matter what temperature you set it to, the air coming out was the same as outside. No complimentary bottled water. The most frustrating thing was that the housekeeping staff would always mess up my toiletries, and one time my razor was even disassembled—I suspect the cleaner might have used it themselves 🤢"

"Because I noticed in advance that this hotel does not have an elevator, I booked a room on the first floor. I saw other guests dragging their luggage upstairs very hard, so this needs to be noted. The location is very good, about seven or eight minutes' walk from the station, and close to the city wall in the old city. It is a residential area and the environment is very comfortable. The interior of the room is relatively simple. It has an old model but has all the necessary equipment, such as the TV. Looking at the photos, I was a little fooled. In fact, the grass in the yard is fake... The attitude of the store clerks is very good. Walk around for five minutes. There is also a bike rental shop within minutes. Overall, the location is convenient, hygienic, good, and very cost-effective."

"Despite being advertised as a hotel where Napoleon stayed, I personally don't really like hotels built in old buildings, as the furniture and bathroom facilities were rather dated. The breakfast, in particular, was quite mediocre, with very few options, and the staff's English was also limited, making for a less than pleasant experience. The hotel boasts an excellent location in the heart of the old town, making it conveniently situated near historical sites and landmarks."

"The front desk service was excellent. We ran out of hand sanitizer, and they immediately brought us a new one. The hotel only had one bottle of multi-purpose hand soap, shower gel, and shampoo, all from the same bottle. There was a small desk and a small kitchen table, and the bathroom was quite spacious. It's a 10-minute walk from the train station, and the Imperial Palace Hotel is also 10 minutes away. It's very convenient, with a great location and free luggage storage."
