(Hilton now tries to position the HGI hotels more upscale. That means that non-obligatory benefits at HGI damage the value of the whole loyalty system) Rooms have floors with carpets which are not completely clean. Wooden floors would be nice. A few hotels at this season are better priced (but booking through travel agencies is needed for them) The value of the guest card gets lower every year. Other places like St.Moritz have it already much better.

This review is specifically about the pool and wellness area. My friend and I booked a visit just to the spa and we were extremely disappointed. The set up is not for external visitors with limited options to shower and change and we were given lockers that would not even hold a handbag. If you are staying at the hotel the facilities are probably OK but for SWF 49 each to visit it is definitely not worth it. There is only a pool and steam room and sauna. The pool got very crowded and the experience was not relaxing and there are other better places to go in Davos. Do not go an an external guest.

Ich kann das Hard Rock Hotel Davos nur weiterempfehlen. Die Lage ist super zentral, man braucht nur einige Minuten von Davos Platz um hinzugelangen.
Das Personal ist wirklich sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit ( besonders Carla von der Rezeption) und auch die Mitarbeiter vom Restaurant und der Bar. Die Zimmer sind ein wenig schmal geschnitten, die Terrasse sehr grosszügig und auf der Südseite, wir hatten tolle Sonne abbekommen.
Das Frühstücksbuffet sehr lecker und liess keine Wünsche übrig.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Alpengold. The rooms are very attractively designed and furnished with high quality materials. What a pleasure to stay there. However, what made this stay special was the super friendly staff. From arrival to departure we felt warmly welcomed and personally looked after. Staff always polite and helpful. We can only warmly recommend Hotel Alpengold and will definitely be back.

A fantastically spacious appartment, immaculately clean and very well equipped. All the staff in the main hotel were friendly and efficient, even though they were often in demand from the many groups staying there. The bar was really nice with a competetive price list (by Swiss standards) and served with lovely nibbles and a smile. There was a free concert every early evening on the road above the airport and it was lovely to see local families and visitors enjoying the music. The location was excellent with nearby shops, transport, the art gallery and lovely walks and climbs. There were some minor negatives: the English TV channels were not working but it was nice to have the chance for conversation and reading - my advice is to take an extra book! We should have reported it but didn't... Some cushions on the sofas would be nice too.

Das Alpine Inn hat uns restlos begeistert. Die Junior Suite ist sehr geräumig und der Stil im ganzen Hotel ist überaus geschmackvoll und der Komfort gross. Hervorheben möchten wir die Freundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft des gesamten Personals und die feine Gastronomie mit riesigem Frühstücksbuffet. Die Lage ist hervorragend und idealerweise befindet sich die Busstation vor dem Hotel. Das Alpine Inn ist ein sehr hundefreundliches Hotel und die Vierbeiner haben sogar Zutritt zum Restaurant. Davos hat generell ein Feuerwerksverbot welches am 1. August 100% eingehalten wurde. Somit ist es ein idealer Ort um mit den Vierbeinern einen ruhigen Nationalfeiertag zu geniessen. Wir kommen wieder!

PPengguna TetamuWaren schon mehrmals auf dem Campingstellplatz des Hotels und nun das erste Mal im Hotelzimmer. Sehr schönes und gepflegtes Hotel mit toller Dampfsauna und freundlichem Personal. Getränke der Minibar sowie Tickets für die Ortsbusse waren inklusive. Es hatte alles, was wir brauchten, um uns vier Tage lang zu erholen und im Wellnessbereich zu sonnen. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

PPengguna TetamuAbbiamo soggiornato in famiglia (bambina di un anno) per due notti presso l’Hotel Concordia. Per la nostra breve vacanza abbiamo optato per una “double room superior”, il trattamento è di mezza pensione. Al nostro arrivo abbiamo parcheggiato di fronte all’Hotel gratuitamente, sono presenti posti limitati, attenzione agli orari di apertura della reception per informazioni, check-in e check-out. La struttura appare datata nel suo complesso, presente l’ascensore, zona bar. La camera appare molto basica, ampia e senza alcune servizi come minifrigo, telefono, brochure di presentazione/elenco servizi. Il vetro di protezione della doccia posta nella vasca è di dimensioni contenute con alto rischio di bagnare il pavimento. L’offerta a buffet della colazione è minimal, sia dolce che salata, nessuna fetta di torta o crostata disponibile. Per la cena viene servito un menù fisso senza possibilità di modifiche oltre all’opzione vegetariana. La pulizia della camera risulta buona, oltre alla dimenticanza di un cellulare del personale alberghiero su un comodino e al non ripristino del rotolo della carta da WC di scorta. Le note assolutamente positive riguardano la posizione, centrale a tutte le attività proposte da Davos (viene consegnata alla reception la Premium Card per sconti e utilizzo gratuito dei bus) e la cordialità del personale. È stato esaudita anche una richiesta relativa ad una ricorrenza in famiglia con grande soddisfazione da parte nostra. In sintesi, una valutazione discreta è ciò che corrisponde all’Hotel nel suo complesso, struttura/servizi/personale/pulizia e rapporto qualità/prezzo.

PPengguna TetamuCet hôtel est à fuir . Ayant vu les notes sur trip advisor et les photos plutôt flatteuses, je me suis laissé avoir et reservé un week-end dans cet hôtel , étant amateur de ski. Première chose à remarquer à notre arrivée : accueil froid et peu aimable. Vieil hôtel à la déco très vieillotte et bizarre. Arrivé à la chambre, mon dieu quelle horreur. Des murs épais comme du carton, on entend absolument tout. Peintures écaillées et chambre et salle de bain crasseux. Visite du « spa »…une piscine d’eau froide et un sauna fermé ( un type très désagréable qui passait m’explique sur un ton ferme que je dois réserver mon entrée au sauna pour m’y rendre). Bref, encore déçu. Après une journée sur les pistes et ayant parcouru 300km en voiture, nous décidons de manger au restaurant de l’hôtel. Nous demandons aimablement à la réception une fondue au fromage, et on nous répond ( encore une froid de façon très désagréable) qu’ils ne font pas ça ici….décidément, ça continue… Nous sortons de cet hôtel minable pour trouver un bon restaurant où l’on est bien servi et accueillis. De retour à cet hôtel cauchemardesque, il est 23h, et une forte musique commence. Il est organisé une soirée avec un chanteur, sosie d Elton John… Les murs étants très fin, comme du papier, aucune isolation, impossible de se reposer. Je décide d’appeler la réception après avoir patienté 1h tout de même . Le réceptionniste me dit qu’ils vont faire du bruit toute la nuit et qu’il faut faire avec. Je suis à bout et je veux juste pouvoir dormir, impossible, mêle avec des bouchons d’oreille. Ce tapage nocturne va continuer jusqu’à 3h30 du matin!!!! Une honte!!! Au matin, après avoir dormi que quelques heures, exténués, ma famille et moi même prenons un petit déjeuner très médiocre dans cet hôtel. Puis ensuite je demande à parler au manager pour lui expliquer mon mécontentement au moment du check out. Sa réponse : « ah ? On a fait du bruit? Vraiment ? » me demande t’il faisant l’étonné. Bref on se moque bien du monde, Aucune excuse, aucun geste commercial. Jamais été dans un hôtel aussi médiocre. À fuir à jamais. Les commentaires positifs de cet hôtel dont sûrement faux. Ne vous faites pas avoir.
