Turmhotel Victoria Davos

"We were four friends spending the weekend in Davos for a sailing competition on the lake! We wanted to have an aperitif with a white wine from Graubünden. There were only three foreign whites on the wine list! We chose the 2022 Pinot Grigio for CHF 59.50. When we looked up the origin of this grape variety, we were very surprised to find it at the Denner supermarket for CHF 4.50 a bottle! That's a 13.2x price difference. Interesting business..."

Schatzalp Hotel

"We visited the hotel 45 years ago with our parents and returned this summer. We did not expect the hotel to be the same but we were shocked at the amount of decline. The location is beautiful and views amazing but the hotel needs major work. The entire place needs painting, balconies repaired due to crumbling wood and general repair. The hotel had very few guests which in itself was a plus for us but an obvious negative for the hotel. The staff other than the dining room manager were helpful and accommodating. It was sad to see the current state of the hotel vs her glory days."

Hotel Parsenn

"I made a late booking at Hotel Parsenn after a last-minute change of plans, and it turned out to be an excellent choice. The room was very comfortable and well appointed, and I slept log-like. Breakfast was commendably good, including a fresh omelette bar! It was only a one-night stay, but perfect for what I needed!"

Hotel Strela by Mountain Hotels

"If 'Good' was an option, this would have been my rating for this place. It's up quite a hill from the town and the ski lifts, and I certainly felt that carrying my skis and poles etc. back each evening, but there are options to pay to leave your things with other businesses near the ski lifts so you don't have to carry your equipment up and down each day. Rooms were pretty basic but clean and provided what you need, and there's a hotel sauna which you can use after a day on the slopes. Breakfast was a basic buffet. Hotel had a place you can leave your skis and boots overnight in the basement."

Hotel Edelweiss

"I would like to say a big thank you to all the team Hotel Edelweiss Davos for making my stay so enjoyable. The staff are very nice. Just to mention a few names: - receptionist Ronja went the extra mile to help with all the questions I had. It was a very smooth check in and check out. - Paul from the restaurant provided a very quick service for a 3 course meal, regardless that the restaurant was very busy, plates cleared and food delivered quickly. The sauna and the ski boot room are excellent. The location is very good. The hotel provides excellent value for your money. I do recommend this hotel and I will book it again. See you soon :). Bernina Bed and Breakfast

"I feel compelled to share my extremely disappointing experience at the Bernina Hotel in Davos. My friends and I had made a reservation well in advance for a ski weekend, specifically for 10 people through Booking. To ensure everything was in order, we even called to confirm the reservation shortly before our arrival. Little did we know what awaited us. On the day of our arrival, the hotel staff seemed completely unaware of our reservation when the first couple arrived. They acted as if they had no knowledge of our booking. After a prolonged wait, only one couple was given a room, while the remaining eight guests were left without accommodation. It was truly shocking and frustrating. Despite having confirmation and proof of our reservation, the hotel claimed they couldn't find it or confirm it, even though we had spoken to them on the phone. We were left with no choice but to hastily find alternative accommodations, which ended up being more expensive. The communication with the hotel manager, Mario, was absolutely abysmal. He initially promised to find us another suitable arrangement, but ultimately failed to deliver on his word. To make matters worse, we were also promised a reimbursement for the additional costs we incurred, but to this day, we have received no response to our emails, let alone any compensation. I cannot stress enough: Stay away from this hotel. Even awarding it a single star would be overly generous. The experience we had was beyond disappointing, and I urge anyone considering staying at the Bernina Hotel in Davos to reconsider their choice."

Casanna Hotel Davos City Center

"Very warm hotel in a side street. The double rooms are very large and cozy and the bathroom is also beautiful. The breakfast room is also wonderful and has a great view of the forests that were freshly cut in during my time. The location is super, as the bus and Migros restaurant are in the immediate vicinity. I can only recommend further."
